In the era of the 4th industrial revolution, public libraries need a strategy for promoting intelligent library services in order to actively respond to changes in the external environment such as artificial intelligence. Therefore, in this study, based on the concept of artificial intelligence and analysis of domestic and foreign artificial intelligence related trends, policies, and cases, we proposed the future direction of introduction and development of artificial intelligence services in the library. Currently, the library operates a reference information service that automatically provides answers through the introduction of artificial intelligence technologies such as deep learning and natural language processing, and develops a big data-based AI book recommendation and automatic book inspection system to increase business utilization and provide customized services for users. Has been provided. In the field of companies and industries, regardless of domestic and overseas, we are developing and servicing technologies based on autonomous driving using artificial intelligence, personal customization, etc., and providing optimal results by self-learning information using deep learning. It is developed in the form of an equation. Accordingly, in the future, libraries will utilize artificial intelligence to recommend personalized books based on the user's usage records, recommend reading and culture programs, and introduce real-time delivery services through transport methods such as autonomous drones and cars in the case of book delivery service. Service development should be promoted.

Recently, the combination of WLAN and 3G wireless technologies will make MMS service more ubiquitous, bringing benefits to both service providers and their customers. To realize seamless MMS service over WLAN and CDMA2000 networks, we design novel seamless interworking architecture by reusing the existing standards and network elements at the same time. Based on the proposed seamless interworking architecture, we also present seamless notification architecture and seamless handover architecture that can't be possible within current MMS reference architecture. This paper will make a contribution for service providers to provide their customers with seamless MMS service over WLAN and CDMA2000 networks.

Among the human senses, olfactory information still does not have a proper data presentation method unlike that regarding vision and auditory information. It makes presenting the sense of smell into multimedia information impossible, which may be an exploratory field in human computer interaction. In this paper, we propose an olfactory information presentation method, which is a way to use smell as multimedia information, and show an application for scent generation and odor display using a web service. The olfactory information can present smell characteristics such as intensity, persistence, hedonic tone, and odor description. The structure of data format based on olfactory information can also be organized according to data types such as integer, float, char, string, and bitmap. Furthermore, it can be used for data transmitting via a web service and for odor display using a scent generator. The scent generator, which can display information of smell, is developed to generate 6 odors using 6 aroma solutions and a diluted solution with 14 micro-valves and a micropump. Throughout the experiment, we confirm that the remote user can grasp information of smell transmitted by messenger service and request odor display to the computer controlled scent generator. It contributes to enlarge existing virtual reality and to be proposed as a standard reference method regarding olfactory information presentation for future multimedia technology.

This study, in order to complement instability of analysis result stemming from the choice between reference point and comparison point which is pointed out as the defect of shift-share analysis, conducted shift-share analysis using Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) trend of Geumgang area, Chungcheongnam-do for the period from 2000 to 2011. As a result of the analysis, (1) industries that had both the positive Regional Share Effect (RSE) and Industrial Mixed Effect (IME) were service industries such as manufacturing industry, electricity gas, transportation industry, art, etc., which are positively influencing the regional industry. (2) industries that had both the negative RSE and IME were other service industries such as wholesale and retail businesses, lodging industry, food industry, real estate business and leasing service, business service industry, public administration, etc., which provide basic livelihood services for the residents. (3) industries that had the positive RSE and negative IME were agriculture, forestry and fishery industry, mining industry, construction industry, and educational service industry. (4) industries that had the negative RSE and positive IME were info-communications industry, financial and insurance businesses, health industry, etc.

Bovine viral diarrhea viruses (BVDVs) were isolated from cattle with respiratory and diarrhea signs as well as persistently infected cattle. These isolates were analysed serologically to characterize serogroups and to compare serological relationship with reference viruses of type I and II. Most isolates from calf diarrheal cases and persistently infected individuals showed a significant difference in cross-neutralization test with the viruses isolated from nasal discharges showing severe respiratory signs. Serologically most of the commercial vaccine strains could be classified into classical BVDV (type I) such as NADL strain. This serological difference among BVDV isolates suggested the need for new vaccines to protect cattle from both respiratory and enteric BVDV infections in field. The immunogenicity of BVDVs which showed a good propagation capability in MDBK cells and high rates of neutralizing activity (isolate : KD26-1, PHG, B5 and 95002) against all viruses used in this study, was confirmed in guinea pig when treated as single or combined groups.

As Internet banking service became popular, many users can exchange goods by online. Even though this advantage, there are incident cases in the Internet banking service due to security threats. In order to counteract this problem, various security techniques have been applied over whole area in the Internet banking service. Therefore, we described that analyzed results of security techniques applied in the financial institutions area and network communication area in this paper. We consider that this paper will be useful as a reference to protect security threats occurred by insiders and vulnerabilities in implementation.

A five-month old female Great Dane with a history of depression and convulsion was submitted to the Pathology and Diagnosis Reference Division of National Veterinary Research and Quarantine service. The dog had ingested concentrated antifreeze and died 12 days after the sudden onset of clinical signs. Main gross lesion was limited to swollen kidneys with diffusely fine granularity on the cut surface. Principle microscopic lesions were focused on the kidneys including dilated Bowman's space, thickened glomerular basement membrane, many light yellowish crystals, and proteinaceous casts in some tubules. Some neutrophils and lymphocytes were focally infiltrated in interstitium of the cortex and medulla. Crystals were angular or quite irregular in shape and arranged in sheave or rosette form. Under polarized light, the crystals were birefringent, which is typical of calcium oxalate crystals. Crystals were more concentrated in the cortex than in the medulla. A few crystals were also observed in the small blood vessels of the brain. Based upon the history of ingestion of antifreeze and the identification of calcium oxalate crystals in the tissue sections of the kidney and brain, this case was diagnosed as ethylene glycol toxicosis in a dog.

The domain model pattern which belongs to enterprise architecture patterns has reusability, scalability and maintainability. To use the domain model pattern, mapping with persistency layer, transaction management and various services are needed. This paper proposes that relationship management service to solve a consistency error which arises in case of removing domain objects. The proposed relationship management service monitors methods of domain objects and intercepts the flow of control to solve the reference errors. This service is implemented by using AOP(Aspect-Oriented Programming), so it can provide the service without modifications of domain objects and other services.

Citing literature is a very important activity for scholars in writing articles. Many publishers and libraries build citation databases and provide citation reports on scholarly journals. Cited-by linking is a service representing what an article cites and how many times it cites a specific article within a journal database. Recently, information services based on DOIs (Digital Object Identifiers) have been increasing in number. CrossRef, a non-profit organization for the DOI registration agency, maintains the DOI system and provides the cited-by linking service. Recently, the number of Korean journals adopting DOI is also rapidly increasing. The Korea Institute of Science and Technology Information (KISTI) supports Korean learned societies in DOI related activities in collaboration with CrossRef. This study analyzes cited patterns of Korean DOI journal articles using CrossRef's cited-by linking data and a Korean journal citation database. This analysis has been performed in terms of publication country and the language of journals citing Korean journal articles. The results show that DOI, SCI(E) (Science Citation Index (Expanded)), and English journals are more likely to be cited internationally.

This study aims at developing subject guides for the disabled to provide service effectively. Subject guide and service models are developed on the basis of reference, case study, and user requests analysis and information types in areas are determined. Information types for collecting and building information resources are classified into types are subordinate and also metadata by information types are developed. Subject guides based on customized services contain information, disability type, service target, life-cycle, media type, and organizations.
