태권도 주춤 서 몸통지르기 유형별 생체역학적 변인 비교 분석 (A Biomechanical Analysis of Four Different Taekwondo Body Punch Types in Horseback-Riding Stance)

  • The purpose of this study is to compare 4 different body punch types(type 1: a punch using a shoulder, type 2: a punch using a waist, type 3: a punch using lower extremities, and type 4: a punch with elbows by your side at chest level) in horseback-riding stance and establish suitable teaching theory and method, which would be a useful reference to Taekwondo instructors on the spot(in Taekwondo dojangs all around Korea). Five exhibition players from Korean national Taekwondo exhibition team participated in this study. Each participant was asked to perform the four different types of punches and their kinematic and kinetic data were recorded with 7 vicon cameras(125Hz) and two force plates(AMTI, 1200Hz). We analyzed displacement, time, resultant center of body mass trajectory, velocity, trunk angular velocity, and ground reaction force(GRF) from each body segment in body punch and the result. I performed 1-way ANOVA(RM) for average values of each player after standardization and statistical significance was set as p<.05. was as the following ; First, they showed a tendency to take the body punch posture with the biggest motion at a shoulder and on descending order a waist and a knee. Second, a mean time for each body punch on ascending order 0.46sec. for type 2, 0.49sec for type 3, 0.50sec. for type 4, and 0.56sec. for type 1. Third, a mean resultant center of body mass trajectory for each body punch the longest 4.07cm for type 3 and the shortest 2.458cm for type 1. Fourth, a mean of maximal velocity of a fist strike was the fastest 5.99m/s for type 3, 5.93m/s for type 4, 5.67m/s for type 2, and 5.01m/s for type 1 on the descending order. Fifth, a mean of maximal trunk angular velocity of the fastest 495.6deg./sec. for type 4 and 337.7deg./sec. for type 1 on the descending order. Sixth, strongest value was type 3, 2 for anterior-posterior ground reaction force(left -54.89N, right 60.58N), type 4 for medial-lateral GRF(left 83.59N, right -80.12N), and type 3 for vertical GRF(left 341.79N, right 426.11N).

EPMA를 이용한 사용후핵연료의 연소도 측정에 관한 연구 (Analysis of Fission Products on Irradiated Fuels using EPMA)

  • 차폐형 성분분석기(Shielded EPMA)를 이용하여 한국형 경수로발전소에서 연소된 35,000 MWd/MTU, U-235의 농축도 $3.2\%$$UO_2$ 사용후핵연료의 연소도 측정 방법을 제시하였다. 원자로의 출력과 핵연료의 특성 및 중성자속 분포 등 중요한 핵공학적 정보를 제공하는 사용후핵연료의 연소도는 U-235의 감손에 따른 무거운 핵종의 변화를 측정하거나 사용후핵연료 내에 생성된 핵분열생성물을 측정하는 방법 등이 있다. 이러한 방법은 비파괴시험으로도 하고 있으나 파괴시험인 화학적 분석방법이 보다 정확한 것으로 인식되고 있다. 그러나 화학분석법은 분석시간이 많이 걸리며, 방사선시료의 취급으로 인한 시험자의 피폭 등의 어려움이 따른다. 화학적 분석방법에 의한 연소도 측정방법 대신 분석시료의 제작 및 분석시간이 화학적 분석방법에 비해 상당히 짧고, 또한 국부적인 연소도 측정이 요구되는 사고 핵연료나 고연소 핵연료의 위치별 연소도 측정이 가능한 EPMA를 사용한 연소도 측정기술이 개발되고 있다. 시험결과 ORIGEN2코드로 계산한 연소도에 따른 Nd의 농도와 EPMA 분석에 의한 Nd의 농도는 거의 일치하였다. EPMA로 분석한 Nd의 조성과 ORIGEN-2 코드로 계산한 Nd의 조성 분포를 이용하여 사용후핵연료의 연소도를 예측하는 일차 실험식을 유도하였으며, 그 결과가 화학분석에 의한 연소도와 거의 일치함을 확인하였다.

A Probabilistic Assessment of Human Health Risk from Arsenic-Contaminated Rice Grown Near The Mining Areas of Korea

  • 만성으로 비소에 노출될 경우 암을 비롯하여 인체에 심각한 악영향이 나타날 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 우리나라의 광신인근에서 재배된 벼의 백미시료 300점에 함유된 총 비소를 분석하고, 이 백미 시료만을 섭취했을 경우의 인체위험도를 확률적 접근법을 이용하여 평가하였다. 300점의 백미에 함유된 총 비소의 함량은 0.09 mg/kg으로 lognormal 분포형태를 나타내었다. 우리나라 전체인구와 성별로 나눠 이 백미시료만을 섭취했을 경우 1일 총비소 노출량을 평가하였으며, EPA의 발암력과 기준참고치를 그거로 발암위해와 비발암위해를 정량화하였다. 광산인근 백미 섭취를 통한 발암위해의 평균은 만명기준 남성 2.16명, 여성 1.83에서 1.0 이하로 나타났다. 광산인근 백미만을 섭취하는 경우 전체 인근의 10% 미만이 비발암위해를 보이는 것으로 나타났다. 그러나, 이는 우리나라 광산인근에서 재배된 300점 백미시료에 대한 자료를 근거로 도출된 결과로서 우리나라 모든 광신인근 지역의 백미를 대표할 수 없는 한계가 존재한다.

  • The purpose of this study is to survey and analyze domestic fashion education institution's program on apparel prototype and thereupon, address the problems and find their solutions, and thereby, provide for some basic data useful to improve the basic patterns of apparel and ultimately, help reinforce the professional and practical apparel design education. The results of this study can be summarized as follows; 1. 85.1% of the subjects finished graduate or higher courses. Almost all of the college and junior college teachers finished graduate or higher courses, while only 31.6% of those teaching at technical institutes finished graduate or higher courses. Such a finding suggests that colleges tend to employ their faculty members based on their academic background but that technical institutes value the practical ability of their faculty more. 2. As a result of surveying the types of basic patterns used by teachers, it was found that 72.3% of them were using two or more patterns. The basic pattern preferred most by our teachers was Japanese culture institute's type (71.3%), followed by the US FIT type (24.5%), Lim Won-Ja's type (22.3%), French ESMOD type (17.0%). 96.3% of our apparel design students were making their basic patterns as instructed by their teachers. 3. 67.0% of our students were using their conceived sizes for production of their basic patterns, 14.9% were referring to the ready-made sizes, 8.5% were relying on their teachers' individual experiences, and 9.6% were using their own cord sizes. In order to survey the difference between teachers' sizes (ready-made sizes or individual experienced ones) and business sizes used, the basic body measurements used for ready-made apparels were surveyed to be compared with the national standard body sizes set in 1997 for women aged between 18 and 24. As a result, it was found that the ready-made sizes used for apparel production prototypes than teachers' ones were nearer the national standard sizes. Such a finding suggests that it may well be necessary for teachers to be more connected with the apparel businesses and thereby, teach their students in a more realistic way with correct information. 4. 83.0% of the subject teachers were tacking their basic patterns to be well fitting, and 76.9% of these teachers were tacking the patterns in reference with students' individual body sizes. In all, 97.4% of the subject teachers were guiding the tacking process, which suggests that the flat patternmaking is taught primarily for customized apparels. As a result of comparing the fitness of basic patterns with those of each body part, it was found that teachers were most dissatisfied with the fitness of shoulders and arm hole depth. Therefore, it will be necessary to reclassify the body types or find other drawing techniques to improve the fitness of such body parts. Nevertheless, teachers were willing much (4.18) to develop their own educational basic patterns for themselves. Lastly, it is hoped that this study will be followed up by future studies on educational prototypes covering diverse body shapes and those on practical implementations of those prototypes for students.

금강하구에서 인공 구조물에 의한 수심 변화 : GIS 기반의 시.공간 평가 (Water Depth Change Caused by Artificial Structures in Geum River Estuary: Spatio-Temporal Evaluation Based on GIS)

  • 본 연구는 금강하구에서 인공구조물 축조로 인해 야기된 수심 변화의 시 공간분포 특성을 평가하고자 한다. $1979{\sim}2004$년 해도로부터 수심 데이타를 추출하여 GIS환경에서 퇴적층의 변화추세가 평가되었다. 하구둑 전면과 장항항-군산내항 사이의 공사중인 인공섬 북측, 개야수로 일부, 대죽사주 등 대부분의 연구지역에서 1979년에 비해 2m이상 퇴적층이 쌓이면서 수심이 얕아진 경향이 나타나 하구역이 점점 더 퇴적작용이 우세한 환경으로 변이되는 것이 확인된다. 하구둑-군산내항 수역에서 수심이 얕아진 지역이 79%, 깊어진 지역이 21%로 이 구간의 퇴적양상이 가장 문제가 되고 있다. 하구둑을 통한 하천수의 유출이 진행되는 방향에 위치하는 군산내항을 거쳐 개야수로에 이르는 하구 내측에 퇴적이 집중되고 있어 하구둑의 건설 이후에도 하천으로부터 퇴적물 공급이 완전하게 차단되지 않고 하천유로를 통해 지속적으로 공급되는 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 이 연구는 하구 둑이 건설된 이후 연구지역에서 전체적으로 침식보다는 퇴적 작용이 우세하다는 기존의 연구에서 나아가 인공구조물과 연계되어 퇴적과정이 활성화되는 지역과 그렇지 못한 지역의 공간적 변이를 규명하였다. 결국 GIS 기반의 수심환경 평가가 기존의 미시적 인 데이터에 의거한 퇴적환경 연구결과를 객관화하고 정량적인 근거를 제시하는 도구로 활용될 수 있었다.

수도수중 염소 소독부산물로 인한 건강위해성 평가에 관한 연구 - 서울시 수도수중 Trihalomethanes 및 Haloaceticnitriles을 중심으로 - (Health Risk Assessment of Disinfection By-products by Chlorination in Tap Water Ingestion)

  • Public concerns about hazardous health effect from the exposure to organic by-products of the chlorination have been increased. There are numerous studies reporting that chlorination of drinking water produces numerous chlorinated organic by-products including THMs, HAAs, HANs. Some of these products are known to be animal carcinogens. The purpose of this study was to estimate health risk of DBPs by chlorinated drinking water ingestion in Seoul based on methodologies that have been developed for conducting risk assessment of complex-chemical-mixture. The drinking water sample was collected seperately at six water treatment plant in Seoul at March, April, 1996. In tap water of households in Seoul, DBPs were measured wilfh the mean value of 36.6 $\mu$g/L. Risk assessment processes,. which include processes for the estimation of human cancer potency using animal bioassay data and calculation of human exposure, entail uncertainties. In the exposure assessment process, exposure scenarios with various assumptions could affect the exposure amount and excess cancer risk. The reference dose of haloacetonitriles was estimated to be 0.0023 mg/kg/day by applying dibromoacetonitrile NOAEL and uncertainty factor to the mean concentration. In the first case, human excess cancer risk was estimated by the US EPA method used to set the MCL (maximum contaminant level). In the second and third case, the risk was estimated for multi-route exposure with and without adopting Monte-Carlo simulation, respectively. In the second case, exposure input parameters and cancer potencies used probability distributions, and in the third case, those values used point estimates (mean, and maximum or 95% upper-bound value). As a result, while the excess cancer risk estimated by US EPA method considering only direct ingestion tended to be underestimated, the risk which was estimated by considering multi-route exposure without Monte-Carlo simulation and then using the maximum or 95% upper-bound value as input parameters tended to be overestimated. In risk assessment for Trihalomethanes, considering multi-route exposure with adopting Monte-Carlo analysis seems to provide the most reasonable estimations.

황지천의 수생 및 수변 식물상 (Aquatic and Riparian Flora of Hwangjicheon Stream)

  • 본 연구는 강원도 태백시에 위치한 황지천의 장기모니터링을 위한 수변식물상 조사를 수행한 결과 65과 158속 203종 2아종 18변종으로 총 223분류군으로 확인되었다. 과별로 보면 국화과(30분류군), 벼과(19분류군), 장미과(15분류군), 콩과(12분류군) 순으로 높게 나타난다. 이 중 특산식물은 4분류군이다. 멸종위기 및 적색목록종은 출현하지 않았다. 식물구계학적 특정 식물은 IV등급 3분류군, III등급 4분류군, II등급 7분류군, I등급 8분류군으로 총 22분류군이다. 귀화식물은 28분류군으로 귀화율12.5%, 도시화지수 8.7%를 나타났다. 용도에 따른 분류는 식용 166종(74.4%), 약용 187종(83.8%), 향료용 9종(4.0%), 산업용 99종(44.3%), 관상용 106종(47.5%), 복원용 84종(37.6%), 사료/퇴비용 112종(50.2%), 용도 미상 5종(2.2%) 등으로 구분되었다. 이러한 조사 연구를 통해 하천정화시설의 설치 전과 후의 식물상 및 식생변화에 대한 척도를 확보하고 종합적인 관리를 위한 장기 모니터링 기초자료로 활용하고자 한다.

쌀 전분 젤의 creep 특성 (Compressive Creep Behavior of Rice Starch Gels)

  • 호화된 쌀 전분 젤의 creep 거동을 농도($30{\sim}45%$)와 온도($20{\sim}85^{\circ}C$)를 달리하여 측정하였으며 전분 젤의 점탄성에 미치는 온도와 농도의 영향은 shift factor($a_{T},\;a_{C}$)를 이용하여 분석하였다. Compression creep test의 결과 쌀 전분 젤은 순간변형 부분, 지연탄성 부분 및 유동부분으로 구성된 6-element의 역학적 모델로 해석할 수 있었으며 점탄성 거동은 순간변형 부분이 주체를 이루었다. 전분 농도가 $30{\sim}45%$로 증가함에 따라 creep compliance는 감소하였고 농도 증가는 주로 순간변형 부분에 영향을 미쳤다. 각 농도에서의 total compliance는 shift factor($a_{C}$)를 이용하여 일정한 기준농도(38%)로 변환시켜 농도불변 곡선으로 정확히 나타낼 수 있었다. 온도를 $20{\sim}85^{\circ}C$로 조절하여 얻은 creep compliance는 온도의 증가에 따라 증가하여 젤의 조직이 점점 연화되었다. $20^{\circ}C$를 기준온도로 shift factor($a_{T}$)에 의해 각 온토에서의 단편적 total compliance 곡선을 log(t)에 대해 수평이동시키면 전반적으로 부드럽게 연결되는 master curve를 얻을 수 있었으므로 시간-온도 환산법칙이 잘 성립되었다. 수정된 WLF식을 이용하여 $a_{T}$의 온도 의존성을 분석한 결과 전분 젤의 활성화에너지는 일정하지 않고 온도의 증가에 따라 감소하였으며, 공유결합에 의해 망상구조를 이루는 다른 젤들에 비해 그 값이 상대적으로 작았다.

Standardization and HPTLC Fingerprinting of a Polyherbal Unani Formulation

  • Background: The Unani system of medicine has been practised since centuries for the treatment of a range of diseases. In spite of their efficacy they have been widely criticised due to the lack of standardization and poor quality control. Standardization of Unani medicine is a valuable issue at the present because they are very prone to contamination, deterioration, adulteration and variation in composition due to biodiversity as well as careless collection. Objective: To Standardize and Development of HPTLC Fingerprinting of a polyherbal Unani formulation Qurs-e-Safa. Materials and methods: The conventional and modern analytical techniques were used to standardise Qurs-e-Safa. The study was carried into three different batches of Qurs-e-Safa prepared with its ingredients. The parameters studied are organoleptic, microscopic, physicochemical parameters, phytochemical screening, TLC, HPTLC profile, aflatoxin, microbial load and heavy metal analysis. Results and conclusion: Qurṣ-e-Sa'fa is dark yellow in colour and aromatic smell. Uniformity of diameter and weight variation were found to be 13 ± 0, and 524.7 ± 1.72 mg. friability, hardness and disintegration time of all 3 batches were found to be (0.0615 ± 0.004, 0.0885 ± 0.0047 and 0.0725 ± 0.0058), (3.5 ± 0.2886, 3.67 ± 0.1674 and 3.67 ± 0.1674) and (16 to 17 minutes). Extractive value were found to be maximum in distilled water (38.488 ± 0.20, 37.3824 ± 0.38 and 39.8177 ± 0.13) followed by alcohol (27.5406 ± 0.54, 27.5656 ± 0.32 and 26.9229 ± 0.25). Loss of weight on drying, pH, total ash, acid insoluble ash, qualitative test was set in. Phytochemical screening revealed the presence of Carbohydrates, Phenols, Resins, Proteins, Steroids, fixed oil and Flavonoids. The microbial load was found absent and heavy metals were within permissible limits. The data evolved from the study may serve as a reference to validate and also help in the quality control of other finished products in future research.

3차원 컴퓨터단층촬영상을 이용한 정상 성인의 경추 신경공 면적 비교 (A Comparison for Cervical Neural Foraminal Area by 3-dimensional CT in Normal Adults)

  • Cervical foraminal stenosis is a disease in which the nerves that pass from the spinal canal to the limbs are narrowed and the nerves are compressed or damaged. Due to the lack of an imaging method that provides quantitatively stenosis, this study attempted to evaluate the area of the cervical vertebrae by reconstructing a three-dimensional computed tomography image, and to determine the area of the neural foramen in normal adults to calculate the stenosis rate. Using a three-dimensional image processing program, the surrounding bones including the posterior spinous process, lateral process, and lamellar bones of the cervical vertebra were removed so that the neural foramen could be observed well. A region of interest including the neural foraminal area of the three-dimensional image was set using ImageJ, and the number of pixels in the neural foraminal area was measured. The neural foraminal area was calculated by multiplying the number of measured pixels by the pixel size. To measure the largest neural foraminal area, it was measured between 40~50 degrees in the opposite direction and 15~20 degrees toward the head. The average area of the right C2-3 foramen was 44.32 mm2, C3-4 area was 34.69 mm2, C4-5 area was 36.41 mm2, C5-6 area was 35.22 mm2, C6-7 area was 36.03 mm2. The average area of the left C2-3 foramen was 42.71 mm2, C3-4 area was 32.23 mm2, C5-6 area was 34.56 mm2, and C6-7 area was 31.89 mm2. By creating a reference table based on the neural foramen area of normal adults, the stenosis rate of patients with neural foraminal stenosis could be quantitatively calculated. It is expected that this method can be used as basic data for the diagnosis of cervical vertebral foraminal stenosis.
