The various colored cubic zirconia single crystals for jewelry were grown by skull melting method of excellent productivity. The cubic zirconia is similar to the character of diamond, which has high refractive index, large dispersion and high hardness. It is possible that the development of new colored cubic zirconia by doping 3d-transition elements or 4f-rare earth elements. The colored cubic zirconia is representative of synthetic gemstone which was grown up by mixing one or over two materials among $Pr_6O_{11},\;TiO_2,\;MnO_2\;and\;Er_2O_3$ as coloring agent. Subsequent heat treatment improves the quality of color and uniformity. This study is aimed the color reappearance of cubic zirconia such as natural peridot, smoky-quartz and red-tourmaline.

The human being continued the processing of improvement for well being life according to scientific results The other hand, All the seaman life take the rest and sleep in ship's office and living room. In this case, many crew took the pain of back spain or deposit the his fatigue, This will be decrease the productivity owing to crew's back spain or fatigue etc. In this study researched the problem of ship's bed mattress and the principle of Well being air mattress in technical standard etc. Specially decreased some kinds of bacillus, germ and many kinds of bacteria by using of tourmaline which emitted the far red light and negative ion from surface of the mattress. We developed and applied the ship's Well being air mattress to off shore and various kind of ship by International Labour Organization convention 192.

The FT-IR absorption spectrum by the lattice vibrations of ruby and garnet obtained from FT-IR shows quite different characteristics. By the UV-VIS spectroscopy it was found that the ruby has two transmission bands in red and blue region, while garnet has only one transmission band in red region. The color filter to distinguish ruby from garnet was developed and named HWANG JI HO filter. Through the HWANG JI HO filter, ruby was shown in blue color and garnet was shown in dark red color because of the only the blue region transmittance of the filter. Other red stones, such as spinel, tourmaline were shown in dark red color like as garnet. The ruby could be recognized easily from the red stone.
