  • Recently, there are three major trends in building school facilities by government. First trend is to reconstruct facilities that have been built for 30 years. Second is the creation of a new town, new construction demanded from the redeveloping area. Finally, third is to build educational convenience facilities such as gymnasium, auditorium and cafeteria etc. When building or reconstructing school facilities, it is important to consider the 7th Education curriculum. The purpose of this study is to propose the guide line of the planning the dimension of Science Laboratory in in elementary school, corresponding to teaming contents and method.

  • Aerial Images are usually used to extract 3-D coordinates of various urban features. In this process, the stereo matching of images should be performed precisely to extract these information from aerial Images. In this research, we proposed a matching technique based on geometric features of lanes. We extracted lanes from aerial images and grouped into 4 lane's types. They are lane lines, dotted lines, arrow lane, safety zone. After preprocessing, We will match them by spatial relationships, for example, the distance and orientation between the extracted features. In the future, we will obtain lane coordinates and reconstruct 3-d coordinates of roads.

  • The KOMPSAT-2 MSC(Multi-Spectral Camera), with high spatial resolution, is currently under development and will be launched in the end of 2004. A sensor model relates a 3-D ground position to the corresponding 2-D image position and describes the imaging geometry that is necessary to reconstruct the physical imaging process. The Rational Function Model (RFM) has been considered as a generic sensor model. form. The RFM is technically applicable to all types of sensors such as frame, pushbroom, whiskbroom and SAR etc. With the increasing availability of the new generation imaging sensors, accurate and fast rectification of digital imagery using a generic sensor model becomes of great interest to the user community. This paper describes the procedure to generation of the RPC (Rational Polynomial Coefficients) for KOMPSAT-2 MSC.

  • LiDAR(Light Detection and Ranging) is considered to be a very accurate and useful tool for detection and reconstruction of ground objects. LiDAR data has information about both intensity and x,y,z position of the ground objects. LiDAR data can be collected from both first and last-return, which are called multi-return, with up to 5 different returns simultaneously. In this paper, an approach to reconstruct buildings in urban area using LiDAR multi-return data is presented. The reconstructed buildings are combined with DEM(Digital Elevation Model) produced from DSM(Digital Surface Model) in given area to implement 3D modeling. As a result, it is shown that buildings in urban area can be reconstructed and classified by the integration of the multi-return and intensity data of LiDAR.

  • Two dimensional kernels which reconstruct the tomographic image from the blurred one formed by simple back-projection are investigated and their performances are compared. These kernels are derived from tile point spread function of the tomographic system and have the form of a ramp filter modified by several window functions to suppress ringing in the reconstruction. Computer simulation using a computer generated phantom image data with different correction functions(kernels) has been carried out. In this simulation, filtering in frequency domain by 2-D FFT technique or in space domain by 2-D direct convolution is considered. It is found that the-computation time required for real space convolution technique is much larger than that of Fourier 2-D filtering technique in the pratical situation.

  • An experimental study on LII signal images from soot particles in a flame has been carried out in order to investigate the effect of the incident laser characteristics. By changing the wavelength of the incident laser beam, the LII signal was saturated at smaller laser power with 532 nm than 1,064 nm. This implies that the larger absorption coefficient of soot particles at 532 nm would influence the LII signal characteristic. Using the deconvolution technique, the projected LII line images were coverted to reconstruct the local LII signals inside the beam. The results show that the LII images at ICCD camera result from the integration of LII signal across the laser beam.

The Soban used in the modern living space is used as a decoration. but the furniture has to be used according to the form of the modern life and residential space. The furniture is the medium interacting with the surrounding environment in the residential space. I reconstruct the splendid fanciness of the pattern of the Haejuban and nature of structure and apply to the table design. • Stochastic phenomena induce us to construct a probability model and structure our thinking; corresponding models help us to understand and interpret the reality. They in turn equip us with tools to recognize, reconstruct and solve problems. Therefore, various implications in terms of methodology as well as epistemology naturally flow from different adoptions of models for probability. Right from the basic scenarios of different perspectives to explore reality, students are occasionally exposed to misunderstanding and misinterpretations. With realistic examples a multi-faceted image of probability and different interpretation will be considered in mathematical modelling activities. As an exploratory investigation, mathematical modelling activity for probability learning was elaborated through semiotic analysis. Especially, the coherence structure in mathematical modelling discourse was reviewed form a semiotic perspective. The discourses sampled from group activities were analyzed on the basis of semiotic perspectives taxonomical coherence relations.

  • The fault-tolerance routing problem is one of the most important issues in the application of the Internet of Things, and has been attracting growing research interests. In order to maintain the communication paths from source sensors to the macronodes, we present a hybrid routing scheme and model, in which alternate paths are created once the previous routing is broken. Then, we propose an improved efficient and intelligent fault-tolerance algorithm (IEIFTA) to provide the fast routing recovery and reconstruct the network topology for path failure in the Internet of Things. In the IEIFTA, mutation direction of the particle is determined by multi-swarm evolution equation, and its diversity is improved by the immune mechanism, which can improve the ability of global search and improve the converging rate of the algorithm. The simulation results indicate that the IEIFTA-based fault-tolerance algorithm outperforms the EARQ algorithm and the SPSOA algorithm due to its ability of fast routing recovery mechanism and prolonging the lifetime of the Internet of Things.

  • Pose variation is a critical problem in face recognition. Three-dimensional(3D) face recognition techniques have been proposed, as 3D data contains depth information that may allow problems of pose variation to be handled more effectively than with 2D face recognition methods. This paper proposes a pose-normalized 3D face modeling method that translates and rotates any pose angle to a frontal pose using a plane fitting method by Singular Value Decomposition(SVD). First, we reconstruct 3D face data with stereo vision method. Second, nose peak point is estimated by depth information and then the angle of pose is estimated by a facial plane fitting algorithm using four facial features. Next, using the estimated pose angle, the 3D face is translated and rotated to a frontal pose. To demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method, we designed 2D and 3D face recognition experiments. The experimental results show that the performance of the normalized 3D face recognition method is superior to that of an un-normalized 3D face recognition method for overcoming the problems of pose variation.
