The global economic crisis, the trend of an aging society, and the rapid digital transformation are huge burdens and crises for our society. Due to these environmental changes and the economic recession, entrepreneurship and re-employment issues after retirement have emerged as social issues. This study was conducted to empirically analyze what factors affect seniors when they may start a business. In particular, as the fourth industrial revolution progresses, the focus was on the capability to utilize information and communication technology (ICT) and digital media that cannot be avoided. For empirical analysis, an online survey of seniors was conducted and 287 valid samples were analyzed. SPSS 24.0 and Macro Process 4.0 were used for statistical analysis. As a result of the empirical analysis of this study, self-efficacy and personal innovation for information technology acceptance(ICT), and communication capability using digital media had a significantly positive (+) effect on senior's entrepreneurial intention. However, the perceived usefulness of information technology and the capability to utilize digital media devices were not tested for significance. Among the variables that had a significant effect, personal innovation was found to have the greatest effect. Opportunity recognition was found to play a mediating role between self-efficacy, personal innovation, communication capabilities, and senior's entrepreneurial intention. The results of this study are of academic and practical significance in that digital media utilization capability is also an influential factor among various factors influencing the entrepreneurial intention of seniors.

On 4 September 2010 an earthquake of magnitude 7.1 on the Richter scale occurred on the Canterbury Plains in the South Island of New Zealand. The Canterbury Plains are an area of extensive groundwater and spring fed surface water systems. Since the September earthquake there have been several thousand aftershocks (Fig. 1), the largest being a 6.3 magnitude quake which occurred close to the centre of Christchurch on 22February 2011. This second quake caused extensive damage to the city of Christchurch including the deaths of 189 people. Both of these quakes had marked hydrological impacts. Water is a vital natural resource for Canterburywith groundwater being extracted for potable supply and both ground and surface water being used extensively for agricultural and horticultural irrigation. The groundwater is of very high quality so that the city of Christchurch (population approx. 400,000) supplies untreated artesian water to the majority of households and businesses. Both earthquakes caused immediate hydrological effects, the most dramatic of which was the liquefaction of sediments and the release of shallow groundwater containing a fine grey silt-sand material. The liquefaction that occurred fitted within the empirical relationship between distance from epicentre and magnitude of quake described by Montgomery et al. (2003). . It appears that liquefaction resulted in development of discontinuities in confining layers. In some cases these appear to have been maintained by artesian pressure and continuing flow, and the springs are continuing to flow even now. In spring-fed streams there was an increase in flow that lasted for several days and in some cases flows remained high for several months afterwards although this could be linked to a very wet winter prior to the September earthquake. Analysis of the slope of baseflow recession for a spring-fed stream before and after the September earthquake shows no change, indicating no substantial change in the aquifer structure that feeds this stream.A complicating factor for consideration of river flows was that in some places the liquefaction of shallow sediments led to lateral spreading of river banks. The lateral spread lessened the channel cross section so water levels rose although the flow might not have risen accordingly. Groundwater level peaks moved both up and down, depending on the location of wells. Groundwater level changes for the two earthquakes were strongly related to the proximity to the epicentre. The February 2011 earthquake resulted in significantly larger groundwater level changes in eastern Christchurch than occurred in September 2010. In a well of similar distance from both epicentres the two events resulted in a similar sized increase in water level but the slightly slower rate of increase and the markedly slower recession recorded in the February event suggests that the well may have been partially blocked by sediment flowing into the well at depth. The effects of the February earthquake were more localised and in the area to the west of Christchurch it was the earlier earthquake that had greater impact. Many of the recorded responses have been compromised, or complicated, by damage or clogging and further inspections will need to be carried out to allow a more definitive interpretation. Nevertheless, it is reasonable to provisionally conclude that there is no clear evidence of significant change in aquifer pressures or properties. The different response of groundwater to earthquakes across the Canterbury Plains is the subject of a new research project about to start that uses the information to improve groundwater characterisation for the region. The global financial crisis, triggered by the subprime mortgage crisis in 2007, has put the world economy into the recession with financial market turmoil. I tested whether variables were cointegrated or whether there was an equilibrium relationship. Also, Generalized impulse-response function (GIRF) and accumulation impulse-response function (AIRF) may be used to understand and characterize the time series dynamics inherent in economical systems comprised of variables that may be highly interdependent. Moreover, the IRFs enables us to simulate the response in freight to a shock in the USD/JPY exchange rate, Dow Jones industrial average index, Dow Jones volatility, Chinese Import volatility. The result on the cointegration test show that the hypothesis of no cointergrating vector could be rejected at the 5 percent level. Also, the empirical analysis of cointegrating vector reveals that the increases of USD/JPY exchange rate have negative relations with freight. The result on the impulse-response analysis indicate that freight respond negatively to volatility, and then decay very quickly. Consequently, the results highlight the potential usefulness of the multivariate time series techniques accounting to behavior of Freight.

In this research, enhanced land-cover classification methods using high-resolution satellite image (HRSI) and GIS in terms of practicality and accuracy was proposed. It aims for understanding non-point pollutant origin/loading, assessment the efficiency of rainfall storage/infiltration facilities and sounds water-environment management. The result of applying enhanced land-cover classification methods to the urban region verifies that roof and road area are including various vegetations such as roof garden, flower bed in the median strip and street tree. This accounts for 3% of total study area, and more importantly it was counted as impervious area by GIS alone or conventional indoor work. The feasibility of the method was assessed by applying to rainfall-runoff analysis for three weak rainfall in the range of 7.1-10.5 mm events in 2000, Chiba, Japan. A good agreement between simulated and observed runoff hydrograph was obtained. In comparison, the hydrograph simulated with land-use parameters by the detailed land-use information of 10m grid had an error between 31%~71%, while enhanced method showed 4% to 29%, and showed the improvement particularly for reproducing observed peak and recession flow rate of hydrograph in weak rainfall condition.
The global recession has made it more difficult for companies to invest in IT, and they are increasingly aware of the environmental costs of so doing. In these circumstances, cloud computing has emerged as a new paradigm in the business IT sector. Governments, institutes and companies around the world, as well as specifically in Korea since 2009, have turned to this model of providing IT resources. This study is concerned to identify those characteristics of cloud computing that affect its introduction on a company's part; it offers a theoretical framework describing cloud services and seeks to establish causal linkages between antecedent factors and a company's introduction and application of this form of IT provision. The features of cloud computing in particular contexts that the study selected for analysis were its scalability, speed, security, potential compatibility with existing services, efficiency, economic feasibility, dependency and credibility. The study thus related these to whether or not cloud computing was adopted, verifying adjustment effects for cloud services. On the basis of a survey of enterprise IT decision-makers, it emerged through a statistical analysis of correlations that cloud computing's efficiency, economic feasibility and credibility had an effect on its introduction. This study's results should be of use to vendors and potential purchasers of cloud computing services. It is one of the first pieces of research on cloud computing from the customer perspective, based on the perceived characteristics of cloud services as they are seen and valued by users.

The Construction industry has been dealing with much trouble due to global economic recession and domestic political trends emphasizing on welfare than development. Consequently, domestic construction market has been dramatically shrunk during the last a few years, and international market has become the only potential solution for the industry. However, there has been lack of efforts in developing a quantified measure of global competencies for Korean engineering and construction organizations. This study attempted to develop quantified indices for Korean engineering and construction contractors with which the level of global construction competencies can be objectively monitored. In doing so, a survey questionnaire was developed to identify relative importances of core competency elements which were derived from extensive literature reviews and experts interviews. AHP (Analytic Hierarchy Process) was employed as a main analysis method in developing quantification measures. The analysis results reveal little differences in competency requirements between engineering and construction firms and it implies that the global market becomes more integrated and requires a total solution for a construction project. The developed core competency measures can be used to quantify the level of preparedness of Korean engineering and construction firms at the time of evaluation and also be used as a basis for performance benchmarking indicators if they are compared with business showings.
Promoted in places like Korea, the central government and the local governments that can provide information on which to base investment policy to attract foreign direct mutation-specific gravity model (Shift-Share Model) In this study, the decrease of foreign direct investment performance using factors looked up in the industry. The sample period of 2009, 2010, 2011 nationwide (metropolitan and non-metropolitan separated) of foreign direct investment performance for Industry Standard Industrial Classification (Division) was conducted. Factors to look at the results of the National Growth Effect(NS), the industrial structure effect (IM), local allocation effect(RS) to decrease foreign direct investment in 2010 and 2011 non-metropolitan, metropolitan national growth effect(RS) is negative(-) has a value. Because it appears to be the aftermath of the global recession, the impact on the domestic economy Metropolitan area and the Industrial Mix Effect(IM) to the development of education, culture, business, and transportation, etc. in the development of service industries than in non-metropolitan valid environment. In the sector of services (food accommodation, business services, entertainment), We did it, was able to find the function. However, the Regional Share Effect(RS) be competitive in the manufacturing sector in metropolitan areas in the metal and chemical sectors have been identified. These results seems to enhance the competitiveness of the region, such as the metropolitan area's excellent workforce. Shift-Share analysis technique based on competitive factors of the region, to find the failure has limitations.

There are many underground spaces available in an urban environment and they represent an important factor for efficient land use. Especially, underground shopping centers perform both physical and commercial functions at the same time and are frequently used as a means of achieving the revitalization of the city center. However, the underground shopping centers that were developed in the past sometimes led to recession due to their deterioration. This study was carried out for the purpose of proposing alternative methods for the (revitalization) of underground shopping centers. A survey was conducted on seven underground shopping centers in the Busan metropolitan area to understand the factors that determine their user satisfaction and future improvement. The survey data was analyzed using an ordered logit model. As a result of the analysis, service satisfaction, underground environment satisfaction and public facility satisfaction were selected as significant variables. It was concluded that it is necessary to take these factors into consideration, appropriately, when developing a new or renewing an existing underground shopping mall.
In order to analyze movement of soil moisture, Time Domain Reflectometry(TDR) with multiplex system has been installed at the Bumreunsa hillslope of Sulmachun Watershed to configure spatial-temporal variation pattern considering seasonal characteristic. An intensive surveying was performed to build a refined digital elevation model(DEM) and flow determination algorithms with inverse surveying have been applied to establish an efficient soil moisture monitoring system. Soil moisture data were collected through an intensive and long term monitoring 380 hrs in November of 2003 and 1037 hrs in May and June of 2004. Soil moisture data shows corresponding variation characteristics of soil moisture on the up slope, buffer, main channel zones of the hillslope which were classified from terrain analysis. Measured soil moisture data were discussed in conjunction with flow characteristic through terrain analysis. Regardless season, immediate responses of soil moisture about rainfall looks similar but recession and recharge are primary characteristics of intermediate soil moisture variation for spring to summer and fall to winter season, respectively.
