A GPS receiver provides much information such as calculated position, speed, heading, status of satellites, current time errors, etc. It is well-known that GPS signals from GPS receiver mounted on moving vehicle are often distorted, contaminated by various noises, and blocked by tunnel or tall buildings. The phenomenon often obstructs correct navigation especially when a vehicle keeps stopping or is moving in low speed. Therefore it is needed to pre-process the signals to adapt it to various applications. In this paper, an algorithm to pre-process the signals is proposed. For this, GPS data obtaining from uNAV GPS receiver are analyzed and classified based on dynamic characteristic. Then, the proposed algorithm is applied to the data and some test results are shown to verify the usefulness of the algorithm.

In this paper, an adaptive signal tracking loop for a GPS L1/L2C/L5 receiver is designed. The design parameters is adjusted according to the receiver's operating conditions such as the signal strength and the receiver dynamics by using the different characteristics of GPS L1, L2C and L5 signal. Simulation results show that the tracking accuracy of the proposed signal tracking loop is better than those of L1, L2C and L5 only signal tracking loop.

In this paper, we propose a Sequency domain based BPM-UWB receiver compensating for distortion in the multi-path channel. We give a mathematical derivation for the proposed receiver which exploits a matched filter theory for optimum reception. We also analyze the system performance and present the simulation results that show the performance enhancement of the proposed system.
The fundamental problem of communication is that of transmitting a message from a source to a destination over a channel through the use of a transmitter and receiver. To derive a theoretically optimal solution, the transmitter and receiver can be divided into several processing blocks, with each component analyzed and optimized. The idea of machine learning (or deep learning) communications systems goes back to the original definition of the communi-cation problem, and optimizes the transmitter and receiver jointly. Although today's systems have been optimized over the last decades, and it seems difficult to compete with their performance, deep learning based communication is attractive owing to its simplicity and the fact that it can learn to communicate over any type of channel without the need for mathematical modeling or analysis.

In this paper, we analyze the performance of ultra wide band (UWB) systems in indoor wireless channel in accordance with the number of pulses per bit at transmit signals and the decision types of receiver. The indoor channel is modeled as the modified Saleh and Valenzuela (SV) model which has been proposed as a UWB channel model by the IEEE group, IEEE 802.15.SG3a. Two types of UWB signals are considered One is the pulse position modulation-time hopping (PPM-TH) signal. And the other is the pulse amplitude modulation-direct sequence (PAM-DS) signal. It is assumed that the receiver is an ideal receiver which can receive all signals of the multipath.

The spin modulation is proposed with modulating frequency and amplitude simultaeously, and realized with the array sturcture easily located due to the nanometer size of the spintronics oscillator. In this paper, the dual-channel receiver is deisgned for detecting the spin modulated signal. Resultly, we confirmed the dual-channel recevier well detected the data sent through the spintronics oscillator array, and processed up to 200 kbps on each channel. Distance is limited up to 1 cm due to the low level signal under -60 dBm. The realized dual-channel receiver has the size of $56{\times}33mm^2$.

Since the stationary alignment process of the SDINS is not completely observable, some furls of the aided alignment have been applied. The purpose of this paper is to propose a new initial alignment algorithm, which utilizes the attitude output from the AGPS(Attitude Determination GPS) receiver and to demonstrate the feasibility of the proposed algorithm with several experimental results. A Kalman filter is designed for utilizing the attitude output as well as the zero velocity information. Also analyzed is the observability of the SDINS error model. To show the feasibility of the proposed scheme, we implement an alignment system where HG1700AE IMU (Inertial Measurement Unit) from Honeywell and an AGPS receiver designed at Chungnam National University are used. Test trials are done to evaluate the performance of the proposed alignment scheme. The proposed algorithm provides as good initial alignment performance as a high accurate navigation system, MAPS(Modular Azimuth Positioning System) INS.

This Paper Addresses a Performance Enhancement of Multitude Receivers Communicating with a Basestation. A General Link between Basestation and Terminal is that a Basestation is connected with Multitude Receivers and Time, Frequency and Code are shared and used among them. We propose an Algorithm of Enhancing Receiver Capability at the Receiver when access Point of Acting as a Basestation in this Environment Modifies Transmission Data Separately to be sent. In the Proposed Algorithm, we configure Transmit Data to Use Maximal Ratio Combining Technique in the Receiver, and Estimate Transmitter Signal per Each Receiver and Simulate Bit Error Rate and Show the Performance Results.

This paper presents acquisition algorithm and an improved detection technique for the DS/CDMA (direction sequence code division multiple access) RAKE receiver in multipath fading channel. The DS/CDMA systems use the RAKE receiver, an accurate code acquisition is required for the RAKE branches. The algorithmis able to findthe pseudonoise (PN) code delay estimates for the RAKE branches in a multipath fading channel. In this paper a numerical method and computer simulation simulation have been developed for the acquisition system. The detection probability and mean acquisition time are investigated asa performance measure of the system using the Monte Carlo method. And also in order to analyze the effect of the acquisition on the RAKE receiver this paper bring out the effect of integration time, doppler frequency, processing gain and the number of users on the acquired code phase.

Optical transmission system related to network infra of ubiquitous is a essential bridge technique between metro network and access point. So, it is need to develop this technique. In this paper, we develop 1Gbps SNMP optical transmitter/receiver system based on 1 core ring-type WDM PON. The developed system can reduce number of optic fiber and doesn't need extra transmitter/receiver. Also, this system can extend nodes owing to many node per wavelength, acts rapidly against security cutting, and acts independent of protocols.
