  • The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of the management of receivables on the management performance of micro manufacturing industries. The results of the survey are as follows. First, among the factors of management of pre- and post-trade receivables in the micro manufacturing industries, management organization and regulations, contract execution management, bad debt control, which are the subordinate factors of credit control, are positive (+) significant effect on stability. In terms of profitability, management organizations and regulations, which are subordinate factors of credit control management, have a positive (+) significant effect on profitability. The recovery management, which is a factor of management of post - receivable receivables, did not have a significant effect on the stability and profitability of financial management performance. Second, the effect of financial performance on organizational satisfaction is positively related to stability, while profitability has no significant effect on organizational satisfaction. The implication of this study is that pre - trade receivables management is more important than post - trade receivables management in the management of accounts receivables of micro manufacturing industries. Proactive credit management refers to the procedure of establishing and managing personal guarantees and physical guarantees in order to smooth the execution of the obligations at the same time as the contract is concluded through processes such as credit investigation, analysis and evaluation, and sales decision before the contract is concluded. If the collection of receivables is delayed or bad debt is increased, Furthermore, a corporation may be subject to bankruptcy risk (insolvency by paper profits). Therefore, it is meaningful that this study suggests direction to induce change of contract type in advance by understanding the possibility of settlement of accounts receivable and recovery of bad debts within the day of transition in case of contract of micro manufacturing industries.

  • Based on the Financial Management Information Systems (FMIS) variables and supporting arenas, the current study aims to highlight the importance of FMIS in supporting organizations to achieve organizational excellence (Managing Liabilities, Support Decision Making, Cost Efficiency, Financial Quality, and Security). A quantitative approach was utilized by adopting a questionnaire as a tool. A convenient sample of (249) individuals from different Kuwaiti SMEs answered the questionnaire. SPSS v. 26 was used to analyze gathered data. The study's findings revealed that FMIS has a significant impact on organizational trials to achieve organizational excellence. This impact was most noticeable on the level of cost-efficiency, with an R-value of 0.583, followed by a positive impact on security, with an R-value of 0.453. Based on the results, it can be widely generalized that FMIS can help the organization reach organizational excellence through managing its financial affairs. As a result, the study recommends paying more attention to the quality of data presented to FMIS, keeping in mind that human errors in data entry might result in incorrect and malfunctioned data, even if it is processed by FMIS. FMIS also improves the ability of an organization to schedule financial information, such as obligations, receivables, debts, payments, and expenses.

  • Using structural equation modeling, the study aims to investigate the causal relationship between working capital policies and working capital indicators on firm performance, including profitability and market value (SEM). The samples of 381 firms were selected from various industries listed on the Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) from 2016 to 2020. The results showed that 1) there is an effect of working capital policies on profitability and market value; 2) there is an effect of working capital indicators on profitability and market value and 3) there is the effect of profitability on market value. From the results, it is suggested that conservative working capital investment policy (CIP) and conservative working capital financing policy (CFP) affect a company's performance in the Thailand context. In addition, shortening the cash conversion cycle (CCC) should be applied in management to increase profitability by reducing the receivables collection period (RCP) and inventory conversion period (ICP) while increasing the payables deferral period (PDP). The practical implications of the study provide the evidence that meeting the dues according to short CCC management can represent healthy liquidity in cash flow that helps gain investor confidence and the investment interest that further increases the market value.
