Smart factory requires 4 Zero factors including Zero Waiting-time, Zero Inventory, Zero Defect, Zero Down-time) that needs IT convergence for production resources of 4M1E(Man, Machine, Material, Method, Energy) in real time and event processing in all type of manufacturing enterprises. This paper will be explaining about core emerging production IT convergence technologies including cyber device security, 4M1E integration, real time event driven architecture, common platform of manufacturing standard applications, smart factory to-be model for small and medium manufacturing enterprises.
OCL was used in the UML Semantics document to specify the well-formedness rules of the UML metarmodel. UML was extended to apply it to system developments of several fields, for example real-time UML and web applications with UML. In particular the dependability is important in designing and building hard real-time system. Thus OCL is needed to express real-time UML formally and so it must extended. In this paper, we extend OCL to define event-driven real-time OCL to the development of Nrcl simulator.
In this paper, a real-time control system for robot manipulator is implemented using real-time operating system with capabilities of multitasking, intertask communication and synchronization, event-driven, priority-driven scheduling, real-time clock control, etc. The hardware system with VME bus and related devices is developed and applied to implement a dynamic learning control scheme for robot manipulator. Real-time performance of the proposed dynamic learning controller is tested for tasks of tracking moving objects and compared with the conventional servo controller.
With the smart grid coming near, wide-area supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) becomes more and more important. However, traditional SCADA systems are not suitable for the openness and distribution requirements of smart grid. Distributed SCADA services should be openly composable and secure. Event-driven methodology makes service collaborations more real-time and flexible because of the space, time and control decoupling of event producer and consumer, which gives us an appropriate foundation. Our SCADA services are constructed and integrated based on distributed events in this paper. Unfortunately, an event-driven SCADA service does not know who consumes its events, and consumers do not know who produces the events either. In this environment, a SCADA service cannot directly control access because of anonymous and multicast interactions. In this paper, a distributed security framework is proposed to protect not only service operations but also data contents in smart grid environments. Finally, a security implementation scheme is given for SCADA services.

This paper presents a real-time control technique for the development of a ship main engine remote control system, In general several tasks are executed by the event-driven method in real-time system. However when some tasks have time delay components it is difficult to achieve good real-time performance. To cope with this problem a number of timers in most conventional system have been used. In this paper we introduce a real-time control methodology of dealing effectively with tasks including time delay components using one hardware timer. And also a speed control method of main engine which includes critical revolution range a crash astern and a emergency ahead function a switching method of remote control position and a flickering method for the indication of multi-stage alarm are discussed. As long as functions and method are imple-mented as forms of tasks the development of main engine remote control systems can be easy for different types of engines.
Avionics System Integration Laboratory is the integrated test environment for integration and verification of avionics systems. When real equipment can not be used in the laboratory for various reasons, software models should be needed. Because there hasn't been any standardized method for the models so that it is difficult to reuse the developed models, the need for a framework to develop the avionics software models was emerged. We adopted DEVS(discrete event system specification) formalism as the standardized modeling method for the avionics software models. Due to DEVS formalism is based on event-driven algorithm, it doesn't accord a legacy system which has sequential and periodic algorithms. In this paper, we propose real-time event-driven modeling and simulation method for SIL to overcome these restrictions and to maximize reusability of avionics models through the analysis of the characteristics and the limitations of avionics models.
Embedded systems widely used in ubiquitous environments usually employ an event-driven programming model instead of thread-based programming model in order to create a more robust system that uses less memory. However, as the software for embedded systems becomes more complex, it becomes hard to program as a single event handler using the event-driven programming model. This paper discusses the implementation of non-preemptive real-time scheduling theory for the design of embedded systems. To this end, we present an efficient schedulability test method for a given non-preemptive task set using a sufficient condition. This paper also shows that the notion of sub-tasks in embedded systems can overcome the problem of low utilization that is a main drawback of non-preemptive scheduling.

Real-time systems using web cralwing data must provide users with data from the same database as remote data. To do this, the web crawler repeatedly sends HTTP(HtypeText Transfer Protocol) requests to the remote server to see if the remote data has changed. This process causes network load on the crawling server and remote server, causing problems such as excessive traffic generation. To solve this problem, in this paper, based on user events, we propose a real-time web crawling technique that can reduce the overload of the network while securing the reliability of maintaining the sameness between the data of the crawling server and data from multiple remote locations. The proposed method performs a crawling process based on an event that requests unit data and list data. The results show that the proposed method can reduce the overhead of network traffic in existing web crawlers and secure data reliability. In the future, research on the convergence of event-based crawling and time-based crawling is required.

The Constructive Battle Simulation Model is very important to the recent military training for the substitution of the field training. However, real battlefield systems operate under real-time conditions, they are inherently distributed, concurrent and dynamic. In order to reflect these properties by the computer-based simulation systems which represent real world processes, we have been developing constructive simulation model for several years. Conventionally, scheduling and resource allocation activities which have timing constraints, we elaborated on these issues and developed the simulation system on commercially available hardware and operating system with lock-free resource allocation scheme and rate monotonic scheduling.
