실시간 최적 제어가 가능한 새로운 직접 디지탈 PWM기술 (A new real-time optimal direct digital PWM technique)

  • This paper describes a new pulse width modulation (PWM) scheme suitable for microprocessor-based PWM inverters. Optimal switching patterns minimizing the performance index corresponding to the distortion factor are decided in real time by numerical calculation using the microprocessor-implemented control system. This PWM method is compared with conventional methods, such as the natural PWM and the direct PWM. Harmonic analysis using digital simulations shows that the proposed PWM scheme has much less low-order harmonics than the other methods. The validity of this method is verified in experiments using a microprocessor-based control system, where a 16-bit single-chip microcontroller, Intel 80c196kc is used.

  • 본 논문에서는 실시간 구현이 가능한 최적 PWM 방식을 제안한다. 제안된 방식은 전압의 적분치를 지속으로 정의하고, 기준지속과 실제 출력자속간의 지속오차에 대한 제곱의 적분치를 성능함수로 정의하여 이를 최소화 하도록 펄스의 폭과 위치를 실시간으로 계산한다. 고조파분석을 통하여 natural PWM 및 직접 PWM 방식과 고조파 성분을 비교하였으며 80C196KC 마이크로콘트롤러를 사용한 유도전동기 구동에 적용하여 제안된 기법의 유용성을 보였다. 제안된 방식을 스위칭 주파수가 제한되는 대용량 전력변환 장치에 유용하게 적용될 수 있다.

  • A new suboptimal PWM is proposed, intended particularly for the reduction of acoustic noise and harmonics of the output current in the inverter-fed induction motor drive system. This strategy is based of the Regular PWM and applied optimal techniqe. And it could solve a problem that computation time is very much when switching strategy is determined at the Optimal PWM. In case that the number of switching increases infinitely, this strategy could determine the switching pattern, and can realize Online, Real time of microprocessor. Also, this strategy is applied to 1(Hp), three phase induction motor, and compared with the other PWMs. From the results, the validity of this strategy could be verified.

  • This paper presents the novel control and analysis of GTO-CSC. The control method is based on the linearization of an optimal modulation strategy so that the turn-on-periods of the GTO switches can be computed in real-time for any specified modulation index. These PWM patterns allow to produce minimal ac line current low order harmonics of ac line current and low switchings. Finally, the computer simulation results are presented to verify the theoretical analysis.
