The purpose of this study is to enhance the quality of multimedia service under the heterogeneous end-terminals and network environment by monitoring the data receiving status of the group members regularly when the sender multicasts real-time multimedia data to a group. Especially, it focuses to reduce the total number of status information responded to the sender from the receivers. Accordingly. it upgrades the sender's performance by suppressing the number of status information packets generated by the receivers. The key idea of this study starts from how we profile the activity of all the members in a group. We assume that the receiver status in the worst status, so called primary receiver, represents the status of the whole group. This means that the whole group is assumed as being degraded in performance if the primary receiver is degraded, and that the whole group is assumed as being upgraded if the primary one is upgraded. In this algorithm, the primary receiver announces its status information to the whole group prior to other receivers, ana every receiver listening to the primary and other receivers' status compares its own status with them. Accordingly, any receiver may give up the status notification in case its status is not worse than others, resulting in the reduction of unnecessary responses to the sender.
In order to evaluate groundwater movement and the infiltration of contaminants, such as petroleum products, the determination of porosity and effective porosity is very important. Porosity and effective porosity are important physical parameters that determine the transfer and movement of water and solutes in porous media. Various methods of determining these parameters have been developed, with varying degrees of accuracy and applicability. Most of the existing methods produce static results. They do not produce instantaneous and real time of porosity and effective porosity in a porous media. In this study, we used a new permittivity method called Frequency Domain Reflectometry with Vector analyzer (FDR-V) to determine the porosity and effective porosity of some sand samples in the laboratory. The advantage of the FDR-V method is that it instantaneously determines the temporal variation of dielectric constants of porous media. Then, the porosity and the effective porosity of porous media are computed using well established empirical equations. Results obtained from the FDR-V method compared favorably with results from other permittivity methods such as gravimetric, injection and replacement tests. The ratio of effective porosity to porosity was 85 - 92 %, when FDR-V was used. This value compared favourably with 90 %, which has been usually quoted in previous studies. Considering the convenience and its applicability, the EDR-V permittivity holds a great potential in porous media and contaminant transport studies.

Cloud computing is a computing term that evolved in the late 2000s, based on utility and consumption of computer resources. Google say that "Cloud computing involves deploying groups of remote servers and software networks that allow different kinds of data sources be uploaded for real time processing to generate computing results without the need to store processed data on the cloud. Cloud computing relies on sharing of resources to achieve coherence and economies of scale, similar to a utility (like the electricity grid) over a network. At the foundation of cloud computing is the broader concept of converged infrastructure and shared services. Cloud computing, or in simpler shorthand just "the cloud", also focuses on maximizing the effectiveness of the shared resources." The cloud service is a smart and/or intelligent service to save private files in any device, anytime, anywhere. Dropbox, OAuth, PAClous are required that the accumulated user's data are archives with cloud service. Currently we suggest an implementation technique to process many tasks to the cloud server with a thread pooling. Thread pooling is one of efficient implementating technique for client and service environment. In this paper, to present the implementation technique we suggest three diagrams in the consideration of software engineering.

DCS (Distributed Control System), the main control system of power plants, is an automated system for enhancing operational efficiency by monitoring, tuning and real-time operation. DCS is becoming more intelligent and open systems as Information technology are evolving. In addition, there are a large amount of investment to enable proactive facility management, maintenance and risk management through the predictive diagnostics. However, new upcoming weaponized malware, such as Stuxnet designed for disrupting industrial control system(ICS), become new threat to the main control system of the power plant. Even though these systems are not connected with any other outside network. The main control systems used in the power plant usually have been used for more than 10 years. Also, this system requires the extremely high availability (rapid recovery and low failure frequency). Therefore, installing updates including security patches is not easy. Even more, in some cases, installing security updates can break the warranty by the vendor's policy. If DCS is exposed a potential vulnerability, serious concerns are to be expected. In this paper, we conduct the penetration test by using NESSUS, a general-purpose vulnerability scanner under the simulated environment configured with the Ovation version 1.5. From this result, we suggest a log analysis method to detect the security infringement and react the incident effectively.

Needs for Smart Grid development are increasing all over the world as a solution to its problem according to depletion of energy resources, climatic and environmental rapidly change and growing demand for electrical power. Especially decentralized power is attracting world's attention. In this mood a new era for a unit scale of decentralized power environment is on its way in building. However there is a problem to have to be solved in the uniformity of power quality because the amount of power generated from renewable energy resources such as wind power and solar light is very sensitive to climate fluctuation. And thus this paper tries to suggest an energy management method on basis of real time monitoring for meteorological data. In the current situation of lacking in USN-based killer application in Smart Grid field, this paper proposes the USN-based DER management system which collects the meteorological data and control power system througout utilizing wireless sensor network technique this business. This communication technique is regarded to be efficient in aspects of installation cost and tits maintenance cost. The proposed EMS model embodies the method for predicting the power generation by monitoring and analyzing the climatic data and controling the efficient power distribution between the renewable energy and the existing power. The ultimate goal of this paper is to provide the technological basis for achieving zero-energy house.

Mobile information service aims to provide some degree of effective information for real life activities of mobile users. Due to the user mobility and actual realism, it becomes very important technical issue to support an adaptive information service methodology to current situations of the terminal and/or user. This paper deals with a prefetching scheme for location-aware, out of the various context-aware which can be considered in mobile information service. It makes use of the velocity-based mobility model to shape the terminal and/or user's mobility behavior. Based on the moving speed and direction, the prefetching zone is proposed to define the number of prefetched information, so as to limit effectively the prefetched information whilst to preserve the location-aware adaptability. Using a simulator, the proposed scheme has been evaluated in the effectiveness point of view. The idea in this paper is expected to be able to extended to the other mobile service contexts, such as service time, I/O types of mobile terminals, network bandwidth.
실시간 멀티미디어 응용의 등장으로 멀티캐스트와 QoS(Quality of Service) 지원이 필수적인 망 서비스로 부각되고 있다. 이에, ATM 기반의 인터넷에서 IP 멀티캐스트의 효율적인 처리를 위하여 MARS(Multicast Address Resolution Server)가 제안되었고, 기존의 최선 서비스 기반의 인터넷에서 QoS(Quality of Service)를 지원하기 위하여 RSVP(Resource Reservation Protocol)가 제안되었다. Abstract Emerging real time multimedia applications require multicast service with a QoS(Quality of Service) support. An overlay service architecture MARS(Multicast Address Resolution Server) is proposed to support IP multicast over an ATM network, and a resource reservation protocol RSVP is proposed to provide QoS support in the Internet which is originally based upon best effort service only. In this paper, we propose two schemes to support IP multicast service with QoS support over ATM networks: 'RSVP Previous Hop Node(RPHN) scheme' and 'MARS server based scheme'. In RPHN scheme, the RSVP reservation messages are transported via one-to-one ATM control VC from the egress nodes to the ingress nodes of the the multicast flow set up between each pair of nodes. The RSVP message processing occurs at the ingress nodes of the multicast flow. Whereas, in the MARS server based scheme, the RSVP reservation messages are transported via the MARS control VCs between the egress nodes and the MARS server. The RSVP message processing burden is imposed at MARS server in this scheme. For MARS server based scheme, no additional ATM VC is required for RSVP reservation message transmission, while the processing burden at the MARS server is high. Simulation results show that the MARS server based scheme, may accomplish RSVP reservation message delivery with smaller delay as well as saving of the number of ATM VCs. When the number of simultaneous RSVP flows in the MARS cluster is large, however, MARS based scheme may suffer performance degradation since MARS server becomes a performance bottleneck.

Abstract A multilayer perceptron is the most well-known neural network model which has been successfully applied to various fields of application. Its slow learning caused by plateau and local minima of gradient descent learning, however, have been pointed as the biggest problems in its practical use. To solve such a problem, a number of researches on learning algorithms have been conducted, but it can be said that none of satisfying solutions have been presented so far because the problems such as computational inefficiency have still been existed in these algorithms. In this paper, we propose a new learning approach to minimize the effect of plateau and reduce the possibility of getting trapped in local minima by generalizing the sigmoidal function which is used as the basis function of a multilayer perceptron. Adapting a new approach that differs from the conventional methods with revised updating equation, the proposed method can be used together with the existing methods to improve the learning performance. We conducted some experiments to test the proposed method on simple problems of pattern recognition and a problem of time series prediction, compared our results with the results of the existing methods, and confirmed that the proposed method is efficient enough to apply to the real problems.
In the past, the government made a total of 357 hydrophilic districts into parks to create rest areas in the national river with the four major river projects. According to the results of the survey, 60 water-friendly districts with low utilization were lifted in January 2017, and 297 water-friendly districts are currently being managed. Local governments are in charge of the maintenance costs necessary to maintain these hydrophilic districts, which require considerable costs, so it is necessary to accurately grasp the characteristics and needs of local residents at the operation stage after designation. In this study, the characteristics of local residents in the hydrophilic district were analyzed by correlating social factors with river users, crawling social network data to analyze visit patterns, and derived related Keywords, and analyzed the characteristics of the hydrophilic district. The study target areas are Samrak and Daejeo Ecological Park, located downstream of the Nakdonggang River. Social factors analyzed real estate transaction price data, economic activity income, households, stress perception rate, and pet breeding status through public data provided by Statistics Korea, and analyzed user visit patterns and image keywords on weekends.

Currently, the autonomous vehicle market is commercializing a level 3 autonomous vehicle, but it still requires the attention of the driver. After the level 3 autonomous driving, the most notable aspect of level 4 autonomous vehicles is vehicle stability. This is because, unlike Level 3, autonomous vehicles after level 4 must perform autonomous driving, including the driver's carelessness. Therefore, in this paper, we propose the Emergency-notification and Driver-response Confirmation System(EDCS) for an autonomousvehicle safety that notifies the driver of an emergency situation and recognizes the driver's reaction in a situation where the driver is careless. The EDCS uses the emergency situation delivery module to make the emergency situation to text and transmits it to the driver by voice, and the driver response confirmation module recognizes the driver's reaction to the emergency situation and gives the driver permission Decide whether to pass. As a result of the experiment, the HMM of the emergency delivery module learned speech at 25% faster than RNN and 42.86% faster than LSTM. The Tacotron2 of the driver's response confirmation module converted text to speech about 20ms faster than deep voice and 50ms faster than deep mind. Therefore, the emergency notification and driver response confirmation system can efficiently learn the neural network model and check the driver's response in real time.
