  • In the fourth industrial revolution era, various commercial smart platforms for smart system implementation are being developed and serviced. However, since most of the smart platforms have been developed for general purposes, they are difficult to apply / utilize because they cannot satisfy the requirements of real-time data management, data visualization and data storage of smart factory system. In this paper, we implemented an open source based smart manufacturing big data platform that can manage highly efficient / reliable data integration for the diagnosis diagnostic system of manufacturing robots.

  • The problem of recongurable ight control is investigated, focusing on model reference adaptive control(MRAC) through imprecise fault diagnosis. The method integrates the fault detection and isolation(FDI) scheme with the model reference adaptive control, and can be implemented on-line and in real-time. The algorithm can cope with the fast varying parameters. The Simulation results demonstrate the ability of reconguration to maintain the stability and acceptable performance after a failure.

Identification of Open-Switch and Short-Switch Failure of Multilevel Inverters through DWT and ANN Approach using LabVIEW

  • In recent times, multilevel inverters are given high priority in many large industrial drive applications. However, the reliability of multilevel inverters are mainly affected by the failure of power electronic switches. In this paper, open-switch and short-switch failure of multilevel inverters and its identification using a high performance diagnostic system is discussed. Experimental and simulation studies were carried out on five level cascaded H-Bridge multilevel inverter and its output voltage waveforms were analyzed at different switch fault cases and at different modulation index values. Salient frequency domain features of the output voltage signal were extracted using the discrete wavelet transform multi resolution signal decomposition technique. Real time application of the proposed fault diagnostic system was implemented through the LabVIEW software. Artificial neural network was trained offline using the Matlab software and the resultant network parameters were transferred to LabVIEW real time system. In the proposed system, it is possible to precisely identify the individual faulty switch (may be due to open-switch (or) short-switch failure) of multilevel inverters.

  • 한정된 기간과 비용 하에 높은 신뢰도와 안전성을 갖는 엔진을 완성하기 위해서는 엔진 개발과 병행하여 엔진에 최적화된 진단시스템의 개발이 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 진단시스템의 개발방향을 정립하기 위하여 해외문헌을 바탕으로 엔진에서 발생 가능한 고장들, 상태진단을 위한 검사파라미터의 특성, 진단방법들(실시간 진단법, 사후 진단법, 사고원인 분석법, 파라미터 계통법, 시험진단법)을 고찰하였고, 엔진 개발단계 및 운용단계에서 수행해야할 진단관련 과제들을 제시하였으며, 해외의 액체로켓엔진 진단 사례를 정리하였다.

  • 5678SMRT has installed various sensor for operating conditions(field of electric, facilities, signal, communication equipment and track) and environment of Every Function Room for remotely detecting and monitoring. Installed sound sensor for analyzed after remotely heard the noise of every equipment at Every Function Room and temperature sensor for check the temperature condition of Every Function Room. Additional installed voltage sensor in signal equipment room for monitoring RF track-circuit's voltage condition. Installed displacement sensor at The Chungdam bridge's railway for measuring and monitoring track displacement caused by temperature change and Pan/Tilt camera at sub-station and drainage for remotely field monitoring. Installed sensor for each equipment's operating condition and failure at Every Function Room then periodic check of workforce turned to around-the-clock surveillance by sensor therefore improvement of operating equipment. SMRT is lots of prevent a failure by Immediately detect of precondition of equipment failure by analyzed the sensor data. If the occurrence of an failure, become detected Immediately so possibility correct diagnosis and order by remotely field check by installed camera and sound sensor at field.

Zigbee 무선통신을 이용한 UPS DC링크 커패시터의 고장 모니터링 시스템 개발 (A development of Diagnosis Monitoring System for UPS DC Link Capacitors using Zigbee Wireless Communication)

  • Electrolytic power capacitors have been widely used in power conversion system such as inverter or UPS because of characteristics of large capacitance, high-voltage and low-cost. The electrolytic capacitor, which is most of the time affected by the aging effect, plays a very important role for the power-electronics system quality and reliability. Therefore it is important to diagnosis monitoring the condition of an electrolytic capacitor in real-time to predict the failure. In this paper, the on-line remote diagnosis monitoring system for UPS DC link electrolytic capacitors using low-cost single-chip zigbee communication modules is developed. To estimate the health status of the capacitor, the equivalent series resistor(ESR) of the component has to be determined. The capacitor ESR is estimated by using RMS computation using BPF modeling of DC link ripple voltage/current. Zigbee-based hardware experimental results show that the proposed remote capacitor diagnosis monitoring system can be applied to UPS successfully.

시스템 결함원인분석을 위한 데이터 로그 전처리 기법 연구 (A Study on Data Pre-filtering Methods for Fault Diagnosis)

  • High performance sensors and modern data logging technology with real-time telemetry facilitate system fault diagnosis in a very precise manner. Fault detection, isolation and identification in fault diagnosis systems are typical steps to analyze the root cause of failures. This systematic failure analysis provides not only useful clues to rectify the abnormal behaviors of a system, but also key information to redesign the current system for retrofit. The main barriers to effective failure analysis are: (i) the gathered data (event) logs are too large in general, and further (ii) they usually contain noise and redundant data that make precise analysis difficult. This paper therefore applies suitable pre-processing techniques to data reduction and feature extraction, and then converts the reduced data log into a new format of event sequence information. Finally the event sequence information is decoded to investigate the correlation between specific event patterns and various system faults. The efficiency of the developed pre-filtering procedure is examined with a terminal box data log of a marine diesel engine.

분산형 태양광 발전 시스템을 위한 실시간 원격 모니터링 시스템 구현 (An Implementation of Realtime Remote-Monitoring System for Distributed Photovoltaic Power Plants)

  • 본 논문에서는 분산형 태양광 발전 시스템에 적용 가능한 실시간 원격 모니터링 시스템을 소개한다. 제안된 시스템은 상태정보 수집 장치인 PVC(PhotoVoltaic Client), 모바일 애플리케이션인 UTC(User Terminal Client), 시스템 운영프로그램인 OTC(Operating Terminal Client), 그리고 통신서버와 데이터를 저장하는 서버로 구성되어 있으며, 상태정보 수집 장치는 인버터와 시리얼통신을 통하여 운영정보를 수집하고, 수집된 정보는 서버에 전송되어 데이터 서버에 저장된다. 저장된 정보는 모바일 애플리케이션을 통하여 모니터링 되고, 수집장치 및 사용자 등의 정보는 운영프로그램을 통하여 관리된다. 또한, 제안된 시스템은 사용자에게 실시간으로 발전량 및 고장진단에 관한 정보를 제공함으로써, 고장인지 향상 및 유지보수비용 감소의 가능성을 제시해 주었다.

  • 본 논문에서는 미래농업의 핵심기술로 각광 받고 있는 식물공장의 안전하고 효과적인 운용을 위해, 식물공장 내부에 설치된 센서나 설비 장치가 정상적으로 작동하는지 실시간으로 진단하고, 내부 환경 및 설비의 제어상태를 모니터링 하는 식물공장 시설관리 시스템을 제안한다. 본 시스템은 데이터관리 모듈, 상황정보제공 모듈, 상황분석 모듈, 서비스제공 모듈, 정보저장소 모듈, 사용자 인터페이스 모듈로 구성된다. 이러한 각 모듈간의 상호작용을 통해 오작동 진단 서비스, 설비장치 제어 서비스, 고 신뢰성 모니터링 서비스를 제공한다. 오작동 진단 서비스는 식물공장 내부에 설치된 센서나 설비 장치의 오작동여부를 판단하고 관리자에게 통보하는 기능을 수행한다. 설비장치 제어 서비스는 설비의 오작동을 진단하는 과정에서 제어의 필요성이 판단 될 경우 해당 기기를 제어한다. 고 신뢰성 모니터링 서비스는 오작동 진단 서비스를 통해 검증된 데이터를 관리자에게 제공한다. 제안한 시스템의 시뮬레이션을 통하여 각 서비스가 정상적으로 동작함을 확인하였다.

Zigbee통신을 이용한 전력변환기기의 DC Bus 커패시터의 온라인 원격 고장진단 시스템 (On-line Remote Diagnosis System for DC Bus Capacitor of Power Converters Using Zigbee Communication)

  • DC bus electrolytic capacitors are used in variety of equipments as smoothing element of the power converters because it has high capacitance for its size and low price. It is responsible for frequent breakdowns of many static converters and inverter drive systems. Therefore it is important to diagnosis monitoring the condition of an electrolytic capacitor in real-time to predict the failure of power converter. In this paper, the on-line remote diagnosis monitoring system for DC BUS electrolytic capacitors of power converter using low-cost type Zigbee communication modules is developed. To estimate the health status of the capacitor, the equivalent series resistor(ESR) of the component has to be determined. The capacitor ESR is estimated by using RMS computation using AC coupling method of DC link ripple voltage/current. The Zigbee communication-based experimental results show that the proposed remote DC capacitor diagnosis monitoring system can be applied to DC/DC converter and UPS successfully.
