  • Engineers of building construction have made efforts to produce more convinient building of good quality through the development of technology and raw materials nowadaye. This study is conducted to recognize problems of exterior tiles through experiments on quality of tiles according to sizes, and to find out and Iecommend most suitaff sizes of tiles. The sizes which are used widely in Construction field are selected as,45$\times$45mm, 57$\times$87mm, 60$\times$108mm, 60$\times$187mm, 96$\times$200mm. Ready mixed compound are used as mortar and Compressed attachment method are used.

미세먼지 발생 레미콘시설에서의 대기확산모델 CALPUFF와 AERMOD 비교 분석 (Comparative Analysis of the CALPUFF and AERMOD Atmospheric Dispersion Models for Ready-Mixed Concrete Manufacturing Facilities Generating Particulate Matter)

  • Objectives: Using atmospheric dispersion representative models (AERMOD and CALPUFF), the emissions characteristics of each model were compared and analyzed in ready-mixed concrete manufacturing facilities that generate a large amount of particulate matter (PM-10, PM-2.5). Methods: The target facilities were the ready-mixed concrete manufacturing facilities (Siheung RMC, Goyang RMC, Ganggin RMC) and modeling for each facility was performed by dividing it into construction and operation times. The predicted points for each target facility were selected as 8-12ea (Siheung RMC 10, Goyang RMC 8, and Gangjin RMC 12ea) based on an area within a two-kilometer radius of each project district. The terrain input data was SRTM-3 (January-December 2019). The meteorological input data was divided into surface weather and upper layer weather data, and weather data near the same facility as the target facility was used. The predicted results were presented as a 24-hour average concentration and an annual average concentration. Results: First, overall, CALPUFF showed a tendency to predict higher concentrations than AERMOD. Second, there was almost no difference in the concentration between the two models in non-complex terrain such as in mountainous areas, but in complex terrain, CALPUFF predicted higher concentrations than AERMOD. This is believed to be because CALPUFF better reflected topographic characteristics. Third, both CALPUFF and AERMOD predicted lower concentrations during operation (85.2-99.7%) than during construction, and annual average concentrations (76.4-99.9%) lower than those at 24 hours. Fourth, in the ready-mixed concrete manufacturing facility, PM-10 concentration (about 40 ㎍/m3) was predicted to be higher than PM-2.5 (about 24 ㎍/m3). Conclusions: In complex terrain such as mountainous areas, CALPUFF predicted higher concentrations than AERMOD, which is thought to be because CALPUFF better reflected topographic characteristics. In the future, it is recommended that CALPUFF be used in complex terrain and AERMOD be used in other areas to save modeling time. In a ready-mixed concrete facility, PM-10, which has a relatively large particle size, is generated more than PM-2.5 due to the raw materials used and manufacturing characteristics.

국내 즉석섭취 신선채소류 중 Listerial monocytogene위해수준 평가 (The Risk Estimation of Listeria monocytogenes for Ready-to-eats Fresh Cut-Vegetables)

  • 본 연구에서는 위해 수준이 상대적으로 클 것으로 추정되는 가열하지 않고 그대로 섭취하는 신선 채소류를 대상으로 이들 식품군에서 많은 발생하는 Listeria monocytogenes에 대한 국내 오염수준 모니터링 자료와 신선 채소류의 섭취량, L. monocytogenes의 양-반응 모델(dose-response models)을 바탕으로 위해 수준을 추정할 수 있는 모델을 개발하였고, 이를 바탕으로 위해 수준을 평가하였다. 개발된 모델을 @RISK를 이용하여 시뮬레이션 한 결과 신선 채소류의 섭취를 통한 L. monocytogenes에 의한 1인1일당 리스테리아증 발생가능성은 평균 $8.76{\times}10^{-16}$로, 연간 천만명당 발생환자수는 $3.23{\times}10^{-6}$로 추종되었다. 또한 본 연구에서 개발된 모델을 바탕으로 추후 더욱 발전된 미생물위해평가(MRA) 연구와 결과를 도출하기 위한 제언을 추가하였다.

동아프리카 자원식물을 활용하여 개발된 지속가능한 영양보충식품의 영양성분 분석 (Nutrient Analyses of Sustainable Ready-to-Use-Supplemental Food (RUSF) developed with East African Ethnic Plant Resources)

  • The objectives of the study were to analyze the various nutrient contents of ready-to-use-supplemental-food (RUSF) developed with Eastern African ethnic plants and compare them with commercially available supplemental food (CASF) for infants. RUSF was made with three African plants, including Ficus sur, Amaranthus caudatus, and Prosopis juliflorafa and locally available food ingredients in DR Congo and Ethiopia and was cooked at $180^{\circ}C$ for 20 min in a conventional oven. Macronutrients were analyzed by the AOAC method. Contents of 17 amino acids were analysed with amino acid analyzer, and vitamin $B_1%$ niacin, vitamin $B_6$, and vitamin C were analyzed with HPLC. Isomers of vitamin E were analyzed by GC-FID. The price of RUSF was 0.133 USD per 100g. Contents of macronutrients were not significantly different between developed RUSF and CASF. Results of amino acid analysis showed that most amino acid contents were similar or higher in RUSF compared with CASF. However, glutamic acid and lysine contents were less in RUSF than in CASF. Vitamin E and vitamin $B_1$ contents were more than five times higher in RUSF (22.40, 6.26 mg/100 g, respectively) than in CASF (4.00, 0.80 mg/100 g, respectively). Niacin was about three times higher while vitamin $B_6$ was almost 20 times higher in RUSF than in CASF. However, ascorbic acid was significantly lower in RUSF (3.43 mg/100 g) than in CASF (42.08 mg/100 g). Our study found that the developed localized RUSF showed higher nutrient contents in most micronutrients analyzed except for ascorbic acid. Out of 17 amino acids, glutamic acid and lysine contents in RUSF were less than in CASF. Therefore, further study is needed in order to improve these nutrients contents.

  • In this paper we consider an n-job non-preemptive and identical parallel machine scheduling problem of minimizing the sum of earliness and tardiness with different release times and due dates. In the real world this problem is more realistic than the problems that release times equal to zero or due dates are common. The problem is proved to be NP-complete. Thus a heuristic is developed to solve this problem To illustrate its suitability a proposed heuristic is compared with a genetic algorithm for a large number of randomly generated test problems. Computational results show the effectiveness and efficiency of proposed heuristic. In summary the proposed heuristic provides good solutions than genetic algorithm when the problem size is large.

  • An advanced backplane circuit technology for AMOLED using amorphous silicon TFTs with commercial level reliability, uniformity and lifetime was recently integrated into a prototype device. Differential aging of T98>100 hrs at 200 cd/m2 brightness and >10,000hrs lifetime is demonstrated. A 2.2" QVGA ($240{\times}320$) prototype has been developed and shown having the above-mentioned high performance.

기성복의 최적 사이즈 시스템 개발을 위한 연구 - 학령기 여아를 중심으로 - (A Study on Developing the Optimal Sizing System for Ready-to-wear - Based on Elementary School Girls -)

  • The propose of this study is to develop the optimal sizing system of ready-to-wear f3r elementary school girls using a newly invented statistical technique. The body measurements was classified by the method that equalizes the distribution of the subjects using the probability density function, to theoretically systemize a method to determine a size range of ready-to-wear for elementary school girls between 6 to 12 years old. The statistical method were 1) The total of 11 height groups, which size interval from one another is 6 cm that is an average height gap between each age. 2) In order to determine an approximate figure (m ${\times}$ n) to establish the appropriate sizes far each height group that fit to the combinations of bust and hip girth, which based on their means and standard deviations on the probability density curve to produce the standard normal distribution. 3) m and n were aligned by 4cm -the grading increments used for patterns making- and determined the size ranges by confirming the approximate figures of m and n. 4) The representative values were determined by an area ratio calculated by dividing the area determined from the range of bust and hip girth with the representative value. Considering the characteristics of subjects' distribution, the area ratios was used. 5) Weight was calculated by seeking a growth exponent for each age and multiplying it by the number of girls that fit to each size range. As sections that show the highest weight are more likely sought by the consumers, these sections were determined as the optimal size standards. 6) This optimal sizing system consists of sizes determined by the optimal size standards and its sizes are marked with height, bust and hip girth.

  • 최근 모바일 장치의 사용의 증가와 복잡한 응용 프로그램의 사용이 증가하면서 MPSoC의 사용이 증가하고 있다. 이러한 MPSoC의 성능을 향상시키기 위해 프로세서의 수가 늘어나고 있는 추세이다. 다수의 프로세서 구조에서 장점이 있는 분산 메모리 구조의 효율적인 데이터 전달하기 위해서 표준 MPI를 이용한다. 표준 MPI는 소프트웨어로 제공되지만, 하드웨어로 구현하면 보다 높은 성능을 얻을 수 있다. 하드웨어로 구현된 MPI의 메시지 전송 방식으로 기존의 동기 방식(Synchronous Mode), 준비 방식(Ready Mode), 버퍼 방식(Buffered Mode)과 이 방식들을 혼합한 형태인 표준 방식(Standard Mode)가 있다. 본 논문에는 기존의 MPI 하드웨어 유닛에서 사용되던 구조에 작은 크기의 데이터를 선별하여 버퍼 방식으로 전송함으로써 전송율을 극대화 하였다. 기존의 구조에서 사용된 3개의 큐(Queue)는 그대로 같은 기능을 하고, 본 논문에서 추가된 2개의 큐(작은 준비 큐와 작은 요청 큐)을 추가하여 임계점보다 작은 크기의 데이터에 대한 처리와 저장을 담당하도록 하여 성능을 향상하였다. 제안된 구조에서 임계점을 32byte로 제한하였을 때 임계점 이하의 데이터에서 20%의 성능 개선 효과를 볼 수 있었다.

서울 북부 대학가에서 즉석조리되어 판매되는 거리음식(Street foods) 이용 실태에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Ready-to-Eat Street-Foods Usage of Customers in a College-Town in Northern Part of Seoul)

  • This study was designed to identify the actual state of ready-to-eat street-foods usage in a college-town in northern part of seoul. For the empirical study, data was collected from customers who had eaten street-foods and a survey was conducted from 16 to 30, May 2006. The results showed that many respondents had irregular eating habits. More than 60% of them responded they usually skipped breakfast and the reason was no time. It was shown that they have had Frequent snacks and unbalanced diet. The results of survey are as follows ; 1. The major time for street-foods usage: p.m 3-5 (28.77%). 2. The frequency of street-foods usage: 1-2 times/week (43.85%). 3. The street-foods usage days of the week: weekday (52.79%). 4. The mean cost for the onetime purchase of street-foods usage: 1000-3000won (71.79%). 5. The monthly cost for the purchase of street-foods usage: below 50000won (81.84%). 6. The reason for street-foods usage: mainly convenience (60.61%). 7. The reason for minding street-foods : mainly insanitary (40.50)%. 8. Factors considered when choosing street-foods: tastes of the foods (65.08%). Also, it was shown that over 50% of respondents have considered the street-foods as the worth of meal replacement, and taken effective factor on eating habits for influx of new culture. It was indicated that problems of street-foods usage was the unbalanced nutrition for 81.8% of respondents and suggestions for improving the street-foods were sanitary controls for products for 63.4% of respondents.

담배거세미나방에 살충효과를 나타내는 새로운 Bacillus thuringiensis 균주의 특성 (Characterization of New Bacillus thuringiensis Isolated with Bioactivities to Tobacco Cutworm, Spodoptera litura (Lepidoptera: Noctuidae))

  • 국내 토양으로부터 분리한 Bacillus thuringiensis 균주에서 담배거세미나방(Spodoptera litura)에 선택적으로 살충효과를 나타내는 새로운 균주를 선발하였다. 이 균주의 결정성 독소단백질은 위상차 현미경과 주사전자현미경으로 관찰한 결과 전형적인 이중피라미드 형태이며 H serotype으로 동정한 결과 Bacillus thuringiensis subsp. CAB 109로 동정되었다. 난방제 해충인 담배거세미나방 3령충에 대해 B. t. subsp. aizawai CAB 109균주외 분리된 다른 3균주의 생물활성을 비교 검토하였다. 살충활성 결과에서 B. t. subsp. aizawai CAB 109 균주가 $1.3{\times}10^7$ (cfu/ml)에서 100% 사망률로 다른 균주에 비해 높은 활성을 나타내었다. 담배거세미나방은 배추좀나방과 다르게 7일 이상 경과한 뒤에야 100% 사충률을 나타내었다. 한편, 담배거세미나방 2령, 3령, 4령충에 대한 살충활성의 검정에서 B. t. aizawai subsp. CAB 109 균주의 $LD_{50}$값이 각각 $9.78{\times}10^5,\;6.87{\times}10^6,\;1.83{\times}10^7$ (cfu/ml)으로 살충활성을 나타내었다. B. t.를 섭식한 담배거세미나방 유충의 사망 현상은 지효성이며 대조군보다 무게가 $6{\sim}7$배정도 적으며 다음 령기로 성장하지 못하고 죽었다. 또한 B. t. subsp. aizawai CAB 109 균주의 SDS-PAGE에서의 단백질 패턴과 trypsin을 처리한 단백질의 결과에서 기존의 B. t. subsp. aizawai와 CAB 109균주와의 차이점은 발견할 수 없었다.
