Effect of CNT Addition on the Hydriding and Dehydriding Rates of Mg-Ni-Fe2O3 Alloy

  • Samples with compositions of 80 wt% Mg-14 wt% Ni-6 wt% $Fe_2O_3$ (named $Mg-Ni-Fe_2O_3$), and 78 wt% Mg-14 wt% Ni-6 wt% $Fe_2O_3-2$ wt% CNT (named $Mg-Ni-Fe_2O_3-CNT$ ) were prepared by reactive mechanical grinding. Hydriding and dehydriding properties and effects of CNT addition on the hydriding and dehydriding rates of $Mg-Ni-Fe_2O_3$ were then investigated. Activation of the $Mg-14Ni-6Fe_2O_3$ sample was completed after three hydriding (under 12 bar $H_2$)-dehydriding (under 1.0 bar $H_2$) cycles at 573 K. The addition of CNT to the $Mg-14Ni-6Fe_2O_3$ sample made the activation process unnecessary, with a small decrease in the hydrogen-storage capacity.

  • (001) $\textrm{SrTiO}_3$(STO) 기판위에 고온초전도 $\textrm{YBa}_{2}\textrm{Cu}_{3}\textrm{O}_{7-x}$(YBCO)박막을 이용한 계단형 모서리 임계접합을 제조하였다. STO (100) 단결정 기판위에 계단형 모서리(step-edge)를 제작하기 위한 이온밀링 마스크로 plasma enhanced chemical vapor deposition방법으로 증착된 diamond-like carbon (DLC) 박막을 사용하였고, oxygen reactive ion etch 방법으로 건식식각하였다. 이렇게 제작된 계단형 모서리 기판위에 c-축 수직한 YBCO 박막과 STO박막을 pulsed laser deposition방법으로 에피텍셜하게 증착하였다. 계단의 상층과 하층에서 모두 임계가 형성되었으며 이 접합의 임계온도는 77 K 이상이었고 16K에서 $\textrm{I}_{c}\textrm{R}_{n}$products가 7.5mV, 77 K에서 0.3mV의 값을 나타내었다. 이들 전류-전압 특성은 two noisy resistively shunted Josephson junction 모델을 잘 만족하였다.

Effects of Annatto (Bixa orellana L.) Seeds Powder on Physicochemical Properties, Antioxidant and Antimicrobial Activities of Pork Patties during Refrigerated Storage

  • This study investigated the effect of the powder produced by ball-milling the outer layer of annatto (Bixa orellana L.) seeds on the physicochemical properties as well as the antioxidant and antimicrobial activities of pork patties over 14 d of refrigerated storage (4±1℃). Five pork patty treatments were produced containing three different concentrations of annatto seeds, 0.1, 0.25 and 0.5% (ANT0.1, ANT0.25, ANT0.5), 0.1% ascorbic acid (AA0.1), and a control (CTL). Based on the results, annatto seed powder appeared to show antioxidant activity. The Hunter color values of pork patties were affected by the addition of annatto seed powder, which increased the redness and yellowness values, but decreased the lightness of the patties (p<0.05). To evaluate the antioxidative effects of annatto on pork patties, thiobarbituric acid reactive substances (TBARS) and peroxide values (POV) were analyzed over 14 d of refrigerated storage. Treatments containing annatto seed showed lower TBARS and POV than control (CTL) samples (p<0.05). The volatile basic nitrogen (VBN) of the pork patties containing annatto seeds were lower than that of CTL at the end of storage (p<0.05). Although no differences in total bacterial counts were observed between control and treated patties, those containing annatto seeds had lower microbial counts for Enterobacteriacease than CTL or AA 0.1%. Therefore, annatto seed powder might be a good source of natural antioxidants for the production of meat products.

  • In this study, the polarization e(fecal and the birefringence effect of amorphous germanium (a-Ge) thin films were investigated by using linearly polarized He-Ne laser beam. The a-7e thin films were deposited on the quarts substrate by plasma enhanced chemical vapor deposition (PECVD) and thermal vacuum evaporation In order to obtain the optimum grating arrays, inorganci resists such as Si$_3$N$_4$ and a-Se$_{75}$ Ge$_{25}$ , were prepared with the optimized thickness by Monte Carlo (MC) simulation. As the results of MC simulation, the thickness ofa-Se$_{75}$ Ge$_{25}$ resist was determined with Z$_{min}$ of 360$\AA$ . The resists were exposed to Ga$^{+}$-FIB with accelerating energies of 50 keV, developed by wet etching, and a-Ge thin film was etched by reactive ion-etching (RIE). Finally, we were obtained grating arrays which grating width and linewidth are 0.8${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$, respectively and we studied the polarization and birefringence effect in transmission grating array made of high refractive amorphous material, and the applicability as waveplates and polarizers in optical device.e.e.

  • 이 연구(硏究)는 Trichoderma viride Cellulase에 의(依)한 수재가수분해(水材加水分解)에 관(関)한 것으로서 공시재료(供試材料)는 산오리나무, 상수리나무, 자작나무, 이태리포푸라, 버즘나무재(材)를 사용(使用)하였다. 그리고 환원당(還元糖) 생성(生成)을 위한 Cellulose 반응(反応)의 최적(最適) 처리조건(處理條件)과 효소처리(酵素處理) 잔사(残渣)를 재가열(再加熱)과 재분취(再粉醉)한 기질(基質)의 당생성량(糖生成量)을 비교(比較)하였다. Trichoderma viride 조효소액(粗酵素液)은 진탕배양법(振盪培養法)에 의(依)하여 생산(生産)하였고 이것을 염석효소법(塩析酵素液)을 제조(調製)하여 사용(使用)하였다. 기질(基質)은 산오리나무, 상수리나무, 자작나무, 이태리포푸라, 버즘나무재(材)의 톱밥을 과초산법(過醋酸法)에 의(依)하여 탈(脱)리그닌 한 것과 다시 이들의 효소처리잔사(酵素處理残渣)를 재가열(再加熱)함과 재분쇄(再粉碎)한 것을 사용(使用)하였다. 환원당(還元糖) 정량(定量)은 DNS 법(法)에 의(依)하였다. 1. Trichoderma viride Cellulase를 사용하여 최적조건(最適條件)에서 당화처리(糖化處理)하면 반응시간(反応時間) 96시간(時間)에서 평균(平均) 28.3%의 환원당(還元糖) 생성(生成)하였다. 2. 효소처리잔사(酵素處理残渣)를 수세(水洗)한 후(後) $60^{\circ}C$에서 건조(乾燥)하여 $190^{\circ}C$에서 45분간(分間) 재열처리(再熱處理)하여 60mesh로 재분쇄(再粉碎)한 기질(基質)은 동일기질(同一基質)에서 효소농도(酵素濃度)가 높아질수록 환원당(還元糖) 생성량(生成量)도 증가(増加)하였다. 3. 효소처리잔사(酵素處理残渣)를$60^{\circ}C$에서 건조(乾燥)하여 기질(基質)로 사용(使用)한 것의 환원당(還元糖) 생성량(生成量)은 대단(大端)히 저조(低調)하였으나(Fig1의 $S_1$ 곡선(曲線)) 최초(最初) 기질(基質)과 효소처리잔사(酵素處理残渣)를 재가열(再加熱)과 재분쇄(再粉碎)하여 사용(使用)한 기질(基質)에서 생성(生成)된 환원당량(還元糖量)은 비슷하였으며 또한 이들간(間)(최초(最初)의 기질(基質)($S_3$)과 효소처리잔사(酵素處理残渣)를 재처리(再處理)한 기질(基質)($S_2$)에는 환원당생성량(還元糖生成量)에 유의차(有意差)가 인정(認定)되지 않았다.
