  • To remove NO from flue gas, a direct decomposition method to $N_2$ and $O_2$ was investigated by using copper / zeolite catalyst. The copper ion-exchanged HY type zeolite has high activity on NO decomposition. The decomposition activity was increased with the increase of ion-exchange level, contacting time and reaction temperature in the range of 30$0^{\circ}C$ -50$0^{\circ}C$ , and decreased with the oxygen addition.

  • Formation of pores in melt processed ceramics oxides and its effect on the microstructure were studied. Spherical Pores with a size of a few tens of microns were formed due to the evolution of oxygen gas during melting of a oxide. The liquid pockets were converted into sperical oxide regions with a lower oxide density through the peritectic reaction during subsequent fabrication.

  • 본 연구에서는 언어과제 수행 시 일반 공기 중의 산소 농도 (21%) 환경에 비해 외부에서 고 농도 (30%)의 산소 공급이 혈중 산소 포화도(SPO$_2$), 심박동율(Heart Rate), 정답률(Accuracy), 반응속도(Reaction Time)에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지를 검증하고자 한다. 30%와 21%의 산소를 8L/min의 양으로 일정하게 공급할 수 있는 산소 공급 장치를 이용하였고, 10명의 대학생(오른손잡이, 평균나이 23.4세)을 대상으로 실험을 수행하였다. 난이도가 비슷한 두 가지 언어과제를 28문제씩 피험자에게 풀게하여 정답률과 반응속도를 계산하였다.(중략)

  • Nitrogen pollution in urban and rural groundwater is a common problem and poses a major threat to drinking water supplies based on groundwater. In this work, the kinetics of nitrification-denitrification coupled reactions are modeled and new reaction modules for the RT3D code describing the fate and transport of nitrogen species, dissolved oxygen, dissolved organic carbon, and biomass are developed and tested. The proposed nitrogen transformations and transport model showed very good match with the results of other public codes.

  • [$SiO_2$] film coated as a passivation layer for YBCO based electronic devices is investigated by measuring the micro wave properties of micro strip line resonators. The $SiO_2$ film coated resonators are compared with coated resonators for two degradation conditions, a $200^{\circ}C$ annealing in air and an exposure to air at $85^{\circ}C\;85\%$ relative humidity. The $SiO_2$ film reduces the YBCO thin film degradation caused by oxygen stoichiometry change and reaction with water.

  • The hydroxydation of the saturated fatty acids in order to prepare hydroxy fatty acids in the presence of catalysts was reported by several workers. The considering commercial applications of this reaction, authors studied on the hydroxydation of natural fats composed of nonhydroxy saturated fatty acids. Tallow and stearic acid were tested with manganese dioxide as catalyst, $110 {\pm}3^{\circ}C,$ and under atmospheric oxygen. The highest hydroxyl values were obtained at 20 hours for tallow, 107.6 and at 14 hours for stearic add, 116.0.
