  • As the Terrestrial DMB(T-DMB) has been launched, service providers are focusing on finding a business model as well as preparing the variety of data services. So, the need for development of the CAS(Conditional Access system) is urgently required and its domestic standardization is also in progress. This Paper proposes design and implementation methods of an Ensemble Re-multiplexer and receiver platform for its verification that can be used for the CAS system in T-DMB. And, with transmitting ensemble stream scrambled by the proposed Ensemble Re-multiplexer, we verified their performance by do-scrambling and decoding according to scramble mode at the receiver platform.

  • For many applications of $ReBa_2Cu_3O_{7-x}$ (ReBCO) tapes it is needed to know the anisotropic properties of the used conductor in a broad range of magnetic field. In this paper we present the results of transport measurements on the SuNAM tape (GdBaCuO) with the rotation of the sample in magnetic fields up to 5 T in liquid nitrogen. The critical current over the magnetic field orientation ($I_c({\theta})$) curves demonstrate the appearance of distinct second peak around c-axis in low fields. This peak almost vanishes in the fields over 3 T. The evolution of the ab-peak form is also presented: the peak consistently reduces its height with the magnetic field going up and in the high fields the shoulders rise, changing the type of the distribution. To describe experimental curves the vortex path model was applied to the angular distributions of the critical current in magnetic field. Good agreements of the experimental data with the analytical expressions were obtained that confirm the vortex path model approach.

  • To investigate the effects of ginsenosides from Panax ginseng on mitogenic responses in macrophages and splenocytes from murine, we examined the effects of representative protopanaxadiol and protopanaxatriol ginsenosides ($Rb_1,\;Rb_2,\;Re\;and\;Rg_1$) on tumor necrosis factor-${\alpha}$ (TNF-(${\alpha}$) production in murine macrophage cell line (RAW264.7 cells) stimulated by lipopolysaccharide (LPS) and T cell proliferation in splenocytes stimulated by concanavalin A (Con A). Among the ginsenosides tested, protopanaxadiol ginsenosides ($Rb_1\;and\;Rb_2$) significantly inhibited TNF-${\alpha}$ production in a dose-dependent manner. However, protoppanaxatriol ginsenosides (Re and $Rg_1$) showed little inhibitory activity. The molar concentrations of $Rb_1\;and\;Rb_2$ producing 50% inhibition ($IC_{50}$) of TNF-${\alpha}$ production were $55.8{\mu}g/ml\;(48.0{\mu}M)\;and\;31.8{\mu}g/ml (27.9{\mu}M)$, respectively. As a positive control, prednisolone also exhibited inhibitory activity with an $IC_{50}$ value of $21.7{\mu}M$. In T cell proliferation, $Rg_1$, was not effective but $Rb_1$ and Re or $Rb_2$ significantly increased or inhibited at high concentration, 75 and $100{\mu}g/ml$. In contrast, prednisolone showed potent inhibitory activity with an $IC_{50}$ value of 6.1nM. These results suggest that ginsenosides may take part in the mitogen-induced signaling pathway for TNF-${\alpha}$ production and T cell proliferation from macrophages and splenocytes.

  • Histone methylation has diverse functions including transcriptional regulation via its lysine or arginine residue methylation. Studies indicate that deregulation of histone methylation is linked to human cancers including leukemia. Histone H3K27 methyltrnasferase response element II binding protein (RE-IIBP), as a transcriptional repressor to target gene IL-5, interacts with HDAC and is over-expressed in leukemia patient samples. In this study, we have identified that hematopoiesis-related genes GATA1 and HOXA9 are down-regulated by RE-IIBP in K562 and 293T cells. Transient reporter analysis revealed that GATA1 transcription was repressed by RE-IIBP. On the other hand, HOXA9 and PBX-related homeobox gene MEIS1 was up-regulated by RE-IIBP. These results suggest that RE-IIBP might have a role in hematopoiesis or leukemogenesis by regulating the transcription of target genes, possibly via its H3K27 methyltransferase activity.

  • The study aimed to investigate the level of customer trust, loyalty, and re-purchase intention of coastal tourism in Thailand during the COVID-19 crisis; to test the different levels of customer trust, loyalty, and re-purchase intention by local tourists between East-side and West-side coasts of Thailand; and to examine the influence of customer trust and loyalty on re-purchase intention in coastal tourism. Using multistage sampling, this study sampled 487 Thai local tourists who had experienced coastal tourism in Thailand during the COVID-19 crisis. A questionnaire, descriptive analysis, independent sample t-test, correlation matrix, and multiple regression analysis were used to collect and analyze the data. All customer trust, loyalty, and re-purchase intentions in coastal tourism by local tourists were at a high level. There were significantly different levels of customer trust, loyalty, and re-purchase intentions by local Thai tourists between the East-side and West-side coasts of Thailand. Moreover, the study found that there was a significant positive influence of customer trust and loyalty on re-purchase intentions in coastal tourism by local tourists in Thailand during the COVID-19 crisis. This study indicates that Thai tourism industry still must develop and improve its local customer loyalty and trust because these positively influence customer re-purchase intentions.

  • In previous studies we have demonstrated that several individual ginsenosides such as Rc, Rd, Re and Ri relieves formalin-induced pain following systemic treatment. But it is unknown where these single ginsenosides induce antinociception. We investigated the antinoiceptive effect of four individual ginsenosides on formalin-induced pain after intrathecal (i.t.), intracereventricular (i.c.v.), or subcutaneous (s.c.) administration using mice. We found that ginsenoside Rc, Rd, and Re except Rf attenuated both acute and tonic phase of pain. Ginsenoside Rf attenuated only tonic phase of pain after i.t. administration. The ED$\_$50/ was 1.0 (0.55∼l.75 mg/kg) for Rc, 1.15 (0.6∼2.25 mg/kg) for Rd, and 8.9 (3.9∼20.5 mg/kg) for Re in acute phase of pain. The ED$\_$50/ was 0.3 (0.1∼0.85 mg/kg) for Rc, 0.6 (0.35∼l.1 mg/kg) for Rd, 2.45 (1.25∼4.65 mg/kg) for Re, and 1.9 (1.5∼4.25 mg/kg) for Rf in tonic phase of pain. We also found that ginsenoside Rc, Rd, Re, and Rf after i.c.v. administration attenuated both acute and tonic phase of pain. The ED5o for acute phase of pain was 0.9 (0.55∼l.4mg/kg) for Rc, 0.9 (0.45∼1.7 mg/kg) for Rd, 0.93 (0.5∼l .75 mg/kg) for Re, and 1.85 (0.95∼3.5 mg/kg) for Rf. The ED$\_$50/ for tonic phase of pain was 0.7 (0.45∼1.05 mg/kg) for Rc,1.25 (0.7∼2.2 mg/kg) for Rd, 0.85 (0.45∼1.6 mg/kg) for Re, and 0.8 (0.4∼1.45 mg/kg) for Rf. Thus, the order of the analgesic potency was Rc$\geq$Rd>Re>Rf in both i.t. and i.c.v. administration routes. However, s.c. pretreatment of four ginsenosides did not reduce formalin-induced pain. These results suggest that analgesic effect of ginsenosides is achieved through spinal or supraspinal site(s) in formalin test.

  • Purpose: Liquid beta emitter filled in angioplasty balloon could be used to perform endovascular balloon brachytherapy to prevent coronary artery restenosis. We investigated the dosimetry for Re-188-DTPA liquid-filled balloon and medical internal radiation dosimetry in case of balloon leakage. Materials and Methods: We estimated radiation dose from an angioplasty balloon (20 mm length, 3 mm diameter cylinder) to the adjacent vessel wall using Monte Carlo EGS4 code. We obtained time-activity curves of kidneys in normal dog and calculated $T_{max},\;T_{1/2}$. Using MIRDOSE3 program, we estimated absorbed doses to the major organs (kidneys, bladder) and the whole body when we assumed that balloon leaked all the isotope contained. Results: The radiation dose was 17.5 Gy at the balloon surface when we applied 3,700 MBq/ml of Re-188 for 100 seconds, Fifty percent of the energy deposited within 1 mm from the balloon surface. The estimated internal dose to the whole body was 0.005 mGy/MBq and 18.5 mGy for the spillage of 3,700 MBq of Re-188. Conclusion: We suggest that Re-188-DTPA can be used for endovascular balloon brachytherapy to inhibit coronary artery restenosis after angioplasty with tolerable whole body radiation dose in case of balloon rupture.

  • Let I be an open interval and X a complex Banach space. Let$\varepsilon\geq0\;and\;\lambda$ a non-zero complex number with Re $\lambda\neq0$. If $\varphi$ is a strongly differentiable map from I to X with $\parallel\varphi^'(t)-\lambda\varphi(t)\parallel\leq\varepsilon\;for\;all\;t\in\;I$, then we show that the distance between $\varphi$ and the set of all solutions to the differential equation y'=$\lambda$y is at most $\varepsilon/$\mid$Re\lambda$\mid$$.

  • In this paper, we introduce the integral operator $I_{\beta}$($p_1$, ${\ldots}$, $p_n$; ${\alpha}_1$, ${\ldots}$, ${\alpha}_n$)(z) analytic functions with positive real part. The radius of convexity of this integral operator when ${\beta}$ = 1 is determined. In particular, we get the radius of starlikeness and convexity of the analytic functions with Re {f(z)/z} > 0 and Re {f'(z)} > 0. Furthermore, we derive sufficient condition for the integral operator $I_{\beta}$($p_1$, ${\ldots}$, $p_n$; ${\alpha}_1$, ${\ldots}$, ${\alpha}_n$)(z) to be analytic and univalent in the open unit disc, which leads to univalency of the operators $\int\limits_0^z(f(t)/t)^{\alpha}$dt and $\int\limits_0^z(f'(t))^{\alpha}dt$.
