스테인레스 전기로 최적 원료장입 모델

  • An optimal raw mix model in stainless steel making is developed. The key raw materials in stainless steel making are stainless steel scrap, steel scrap, and alloy materials like Fe-Ni, Fe-Cr. Among those raw materials, the alloy metals are very expensive as well as rapidly price-changing items. Consequently, it is very important to develop an minimal cost raw mix scheme while the produced stainless steel satisfies the required specification in it's composition. The linear programming model is employed to determine the minimal cost raw mix scheme. Compared with the method being used, the developed linear programming model gives much faster and better solution (lower cost raw mix plan). Together with the linear programming model, the database is also developed, which includes the following: 1) data for raw materials, such as compositions, costs, densities, available inventory levels, and so on, 2) the required specifications process. The developed optimal raw mix model will be implemented in VAX computer.

LPS로 자극한 RAW267.4 세포에서 황금(黃芩), 황련(黃連) 배합 비율에 따른 TYPE-1 interferon 억제효과 (Inhibitory Effect of Mix proportion of Root of Scutellaria baicalensis and Coptis chinensis on LPS-induced type-I interferon Production in RAW264.7 Cells)

  • Objectives : The present study was designed to investigate corelation between mix proportion of Scutellaria baicalensis (SB) and Coptis chinensis (CC) on lipopolysaccharide (LPS)-induced TYPE-1 interferon production. Methods : I examined TYPE-1 interferon, interferon regulating factor (IRF)-1,7 and interleukin(IL)-10 production on LPS-induced RAW264.7 cells to evaluate inhibitory effect of mix proportion of SB and CC using real time PCR. Results : Mixture of SB and CC regulated TYPE-1 interferon and IRF-1,7 mRNA expression with SB dose dependent manner, while maintained IL-10 mRNA expression on LPS-induced RAW264.7 cells. Conclusion : In mixture of SB and CC, SB plays a key role in reducing TYPE-1 interferon through inactivation IRF-1,7. Furthermore mixture of SB and CC maintained IL-10 mRNA level. Collectively, this results suggest that SB confer beneficial effects in autoimmune diseases clinically.

Advanced New Process Development of Two-Stage Swirl Calciner

  • The state of the art of the 2-stage swirl calciner is to make 2-stage counter gas flow in a calciner with cooler hot air. Gas flow in the calciner increases retention time of raw mix particles. Simple structure of the 2-stage swirl calciner operated optimally the rotary cement kiln. In this study, in order to decide the entrance type of the cooler air of the optimal calciner model, an entrance cooler air velocity, the input points of raw mix were analyzed in many aspects with cold model experiment and computational fluidized dynamic simulation. It was found that the entrance type of cooler air fully splite 2-stage for the optimal condition of the cold model calciner. The operation conditions were that the input feeding, the cooler air velocity and the air velocity of throat were 0.33kg/$\textrm m$3$, 15m/s and 20m/s respectively. The performance of 150 t/d the pilot plant connected with the kiln rising duct was that volume capacity of the calciner is over 430 kg/$\textrm m$3$-h, decarbonation rate of raw mix apparently 90%, heat consumption 950 kcal/kg-cli and retention time of raw mix 2.4 sec. Its the best operating condition is cooler air velocity 18m/s, the gas velocity of throat 25m/s, feeding rate of raw mix 10t/h. The operating experience of the pilot plant confirmed the success of scale up for over 3000 t-cli/d.

고사리의 돌연변이(突然變異) 유발성(誘發性) (Mutagenic Activity by Ames Test of Bracken Grown in Korea)

  • 우리나라에서 오랫동안 식용(食用)하여 온 고사리에 대하여 Salmonella typhimurium을 이용한 Ames test에 의하여 돌연변이 유발성(誘發性)을 조사하였다. 그 결과 생(生)고사리의 증류수 추출물은 낮은 농도에서 TA 1538 균주(菌株)에 대하여 역돌연변이(逆突然變異)를 일으켰으며 높은 농도에서는 독성(毒性)을 강하게 나타냈다. 그러나 $S_9$ mix 첨가시 모든 시험균주에 대하여 돌연변이를 유발시키지 않았고 독성도 나타내지 않았다. 조리(調理)한 고사리의 경우 증류수 추출물의 양은 생고사리의 1/10로 감소하였고 돌연변이 유발능도 검출되지 않았다. 고사리의 70% 에탄올 추출물은 어느 경우에나 돌연변이 유발능을 나타내지 않았다.

선형계획법에 의한 최소비용사료 배합에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Least Cost Ration Formulation by Linear Programming -For the multi-mix problem -)

  • This study was conducted to find the method that the least-cost formula can be determined thus allowing a better keeping of raw material supplies under the constraints having to be used some raw materials that are either in limited supply or for other reason in restricted use. In this study, it was considered that three kinds of feed were produced under limited supply of six kinds of raw materials, and data for the analysis were collected from a feed mill in southern part of Korea. According to the result of this study, it was proved better to determine the least-cost formula as the multi-mix problem than as the simple least-cost problem when more than two kinds of feed were produced wilt limited supply of raw materials.

염소 함유 클링커의 소성성 및 광물특성에 관한 연구 (Burnability and Mineral Properties of Clinker Added Chlorine)

  • 본 연구에서는 염소 함유 클링커 특성을 분석하기 위해 raw mix 제조 시 CaCl2를 첨가하였으며, 이때 염소 함량을 고농도 조건인 2,000ppm까지 제어하였다. 염소 첨가 raw mix의 소성온도는 1250℃에서 1350℃까지 조정하였으며, 각각의 최대온도에서 10분간 유지하였다. 모듈러스는 LSF-92.0, SM-2.5 및 IM-1.6으로 고정하였으며, 염소 함유 클링커의 소성성은 free-CaO 분석을 통해 확인하였다. 염소 함량 증가에 따라 free-CaO는 감소하였으며, 1350℃-2000ppm의 free-CaO 함량은 1.5%까지 낮아졌다. 염소 함량 증가에 따른 광물특성 확인을 위해 광학현미경 및 XRD를 활용하였다. 1250℃ 소성 시에는 클링커 광물을 관찰할 수 없었으며, 1350℃ 소성 시에는 염소 함량 증가에 따라 alite 크기가 소폭 증가하였다. 또한 염소 함량 증가에 따라 우수한 광물결정성을 발현되어 클링커 내 염소함량이 증가할수록 우수한 소성성 및 광물특성을 보였다.

고로 슬래그를 사용한 용융클링커의 광물학적 특성 (Mineral Properties of Molten Clinker with Blast Furnace Slag)

  • Raw mix of molten clinker was fabricated using blast furnace slag as starting material. Raw mix was melted at 1620$^{\circ}C$ for molten clinker fabrication. It was found that molten clinker contained alite and belite equivalent to OPC clinker mineral by optical microscope and SEM. The size of alite was 10~50 ${\mu}m$ and that of belite was 20~80 ${\mu}m$. This result thought to be attributed low $Al_2O_3$ content and cooling condition. Interstitial phase increased with blast furnace slag content and gehlenite was formed by the condition of LSF and SM. So raw mix with 27~41% blast furnace slag could be converted into cement clinker by appropriate choice of melting andcooling methods in this study.
