Risk management at an early stage of projects is known as an effective method expected various benefits. The PDRI(Project Definition Rating Index) by the CII(Construction Industry Institute) is defined project scope for reducing risks. In addition, the PDRI is one of the verified methods for achieving benefits by a risk management. The literature review in Korea about risk management is all about focusing on construction works and the construction phase. Thus, we need to extend the perspective of a project management such as the PDRI. To develop the Korean PDRI, However, we have to consider Korean situations. Therefore, in this study, we analyze some previous studies of PDRI' indexes and its using methods, and suggest the new direction for using PDRI in Korea. This method will enable to improve the scoring method of a project management with PDRI in Korea.

This study suggests a frequency matrix technique to predict personal credit rate more efficiently using incomplete data sets. At first this study test on multiple discriminant analysis and logistic regression analysis for predicting personal credit rate with incomplete data sets. Missing values are predicted with mean imputation method and regression imputation method here. An artificial neural network and frequency matrix technique are also tested on their performance in predicting personal credit rating. A data set of 8,234 customers in 2004 on personal credit information of Bank A are collected for the test. The performance of frequency matrix technique is compared with that of other methods. The results from the experiments show that the performance of frequency matrix technique is superior to that of all other models such as MDA-mean, Logit-mean, MDA-regression, Logit-regression, and artificial neural networks.

Many studies have focused on the prediction of corporate credit rating using various data mining techniques. One of the most frequently used algorithms is support vector machines (SVM), and recently, novel techniques such as SVM+ and SVM+MTL have emerged. This paper intends to show the applicability of such new techniques to multi-classification and corporate credit rating and compare them with conventional SVM regarding prediction performance. We solve multi-class SVM+ and SVM+MTL problems by constructing several binary classifiers. Furthermore, to demonstrate the robustness and outstanding performance of SVM+MTL algorithm over other techniques, we utilized four typical multi-class processing methods in our experiments. The results show that SVM+MTL outperforms both conventional SVM and novel SVM+ in predicting corporate credit rating. This study contributes to the literature by showing the applicability of new techniques such as SVM+ and SVM+MTL and the outperformance of SVM+MTL over conventional techniques. Thus, this study enriches solving techniques for addressing multi-class problems such as corporate credit rating prediction.

Objective : The purpose of this report is to submit a case study on a patient of developmental disabilities with ADHD by taking "Sihogayonggolmoryeo-tang". Methods : We gave herbal medicine to a patient and observe the progress as the way of Cornners Abbreviated Rating Scale(CARS), ADHD Rating Scale (K-ARS), The ADD-H Comprehensive Teacher's Rating Scale(ACTeRS), Child Attention Problem(CAP), IOWA Conners Rating Scale, Conners Teacher Rating Scale(CTRS), Conners Parents Rating Scale (CPRS), Home Situation Questionnaire(HSQ), School Situation Questionnaire(SSQ). Results : The total score of CARS, ACTeRS and other scales were decreased by taking herbal medicine, and especially hyperactive scores were significantly decreased. Conclusions : Patient's symptom was significantly improved by using "diagnostic system based on Shanghanlun six meridian patterns and provisions" and analyzing patient's psychological and physical conditions.

Purpose: This study tries to explore experiences with a special rating dementia service among family caregivers of elderly people with dementia. Methods: The participants were 11 family caregivers of elderly people with dementia and had used a day-care service from the special rating dementia service for more than 3 months. Data were collected through individual in-depth interviews and analyzed using content analysis. Results: Three categories emerged: "reminiscence of an entangled life", "feeling relieved from a stifled life", and "hope for a better life through help and support" with 8 sub-categories and 23 codes. By using the special rating dementia service, the participants experienced relief from the burden of caring for their elderly family member with dementia and restored their social relations or family relationships. They experienced a positive transition in which their caring for elderly family members with dementia was integrated into their daily lives, and they expressed their desires for better policies. Conclusion: These findings imply the importance and necessity of the special rating dementia service. Practical and systematic family support programs are necessary and proactive publicity activities by the government and public agencies are suggested to ensure that family caregivers can easily use the special rating dementia system.

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to design a x-ray screening rating system to improve X-ray screening ability, which is a core job competency of security screener at Incheon International Airport, and to verify its effectiveness through empirical analysis to suggest ways to improve the level management system. Methods: In this study, the effectiveness of the research model was analyzed using T-test tests for effect analysis based on the empirical analysis results derived through the competency evaluation model, the screening rating system. Results: The results of this study are as follows. The average score for regular education before the implementation of the x-ray screening rating system was 94.1 points, but after the implementation of the x-ray screening rating system, the average score for regular education was 95.5 points, an average of 1.4 points increased. In addition, the proportion of those with 95 or more points classified as high scorers also increased significantly from 51.1% to 69.3%. Conclusion: The X-ray screening rating system of security inspectors will systematically manage the level of screening ability, which is a key job competency, and play a strong role in improving competency, while preventing security accidents through early identification and intensive training of level-lowers.

Road traffic noise level and railway noise level are important factors on apartment inhabitant's comforts. The measurement methods which noted by Ministry of Construction & Transportation(MOCT) and Ministry of Environment(ME) are used for measurement of exterior noise at apartment houses. But these methods are out of date because the height of apartment houses have increased dramatically and owing to the sampling methods of the measurement time interval, rating values are induced differently due to sampling methods. In this study, the sound level of each floor of apartment houses is measured and compared. And rating value due to sampling methods are compared. As a result, the KS outline of 'Field Measurement of Exterior Noise at Apartment Housess' is suggested.

Objectives : To assess and compare the effectiveness of acupuncture treatment of depression in Cancer patient's Home Caregivers. Methods : Total 60 cases in Cancer patient's Home Caregivers, who fulfilled the study's eligibility criteria, were recruited and observed(N=40). The individuals were assigned into two groups, the Acupuncture group(N=20) and Control group(N=20). Changes in their Hamilton Depression rating Scale indices, were statistically compared before and after treatment in order to investigate the effectiveness of treatment. Results : 70% Home Caregivers were female and 30% were male, half of the Home Caregivers was patient's spouse or partner and employee. After 6 weeks, Acupuncture group seems to show reduction in the Hamilton Depression Rating Scale. On the other hand after 8 weeks Control group do not show reduction in the Hamilton Depression rating Scale. Conclusions : The results suggest that acupuncture treatment may provide short-term relief of depressive symptoms in Home Caregivers for Cancer patients. Findings from this non-randomized trial should be interpreted with caution.

The objective of this study Is to supply basic data for large reservoir sedimentation research In future and make suggestions to maintain and opera능 the reservoir more of efficiently. At first, previous studios about the estimation of sediment yield rate were reviewed in Korea. And the discharge rating curves of upstream stage gauging stations and the correlation between dam Inflow and stage discharge were analyzed. With the analysis results, the spec유c sediment rate of Soyanggang dam was estimated as 608 m3/km2/yr. It was similar to that of Soyanggang dam feasibility study and 1994's field surveys of the reservoir than that of 1983's field surveys. Because the sediment rating curves were derived under the low discharge conditions, It needs to be checked under the flood conditions. However, the suggested methods such as flowrate analysis and sediment estimation will be useful to the sediment studios In future. PURPOSES: This study is to develop the deduct value curves for the calculation of pavement condition index of asphalt airfield pavement. METHODS: To develop the deduct value curves of asphalt airfield pavement, panel rating was conducted to decide the pavement condition based on pavement distress type, severity, and density. RESULTS: Results show that standard deviation of deduct values by panel rating is increased at higher severity level and as damage density increases. The deduct value of alligator cracking show the highest. CONCLUSIONS: The deduct value curves based on panel rating could be used without existing problems which were occurred in Shahin's method.
