Due to the rapid advancement and distribution of smart devices of late, document data on the Internet is on the sharp increase. The increment of information on the Web including a massive amount of documents makes it increasingly difficult for users to understand corresponding data. In order to efficiently summarize documents in the field of automated summary programs, various researches are under way. This study uses TextRank algorithm to efficiently summarize documents. TextRank algorithm expresses sentences or keywords in the form of a graph and understands the importance of sentences by using its vertices and edges to understand semantic relations between vocabulary and sentence. It extracts high-ranking keywords and based on keywords, it extracts important sentences. To extract important sentences, the algorithm first groups vocabulary. Grouping vocabulary is done using a scale of specific weight. The program sorts out sentences with higher scores on the weight scale, and based on selected sentences, it extracts important sentences to summarize the document. This study proved that this process confirmed an improved performance than summary methods shown in previous researches and that the algorithm can more efficiently summarize documents.

Purpose: The aim of in vitro study was to compare the diagnostic accuracy to detect non-cavitated enamel caries on smooth surface by using four kinds of the QLF devices. Materials and Methods: A total of 52 human permanent premolars and molars were used. Fluorescence images were captured by the QLF devices (Inspektor Pro, QLF-D, Qraycam, and Qraypen). Fluorescence loss of the QLF was calculated. The severity of lesions was categorized into the following 3 scores using polarized light microscopy: normal (S), enamel demineralization to outer half of enamel (D1), and inner half of the enamel up to the dentin-enamel junction (D2). The Kruskal-Wallis test was used to compare the fluorescence loss among the QLF devices. Spearman rank correlation coefficient between histological scores and fluorescence loss of the devices was calculated. The sensitivity, specificity, and area under the receiver operating curve (AUROC) were calculated to compare their diagnostic accuracies. Results: The correlation coefficients between histological scores and the fluorescence loss of the devices showed 0.77 to 0.81 (P < 0.001). All histological scores, the fluorescence loss among the devices showed no statistical difference. Among the devices, sensitivity, specificity, and AUC values of the fluorescence loss showed 0.84 to 0.94, 0.76 to 0.90, and 0.90 to 0.92, respectively. Conclusions: All QLF devices had no difference with excellent diagnostic accuracies to detect non-cavitated enamel caries on smooth surface.
Background Children's Eating Behaviour Questionnaire (CEBQ) is a parents-targeted questionnaire to measure eating behavior of children, developed in United Kingdom and verified validity and reliability in several countries. Validity of Korean version of CEBQ (K-CEBQ) was verified in 2009. Objectives The study was conducted to assess the appetite improvement after herbal treatment in children who have anorexia. Methods The parents of the 26 children(anorexia 11, non-anorexia 15; $79.54{\pm}38.17$ months) who visited one university hospital was surveyed using K-CEBQ from April 2010 to April 2011. It was re-surveyed at intervals of 3 months. Differences between the anorexia group and the non-anorexia group were analyzed by Mann-Whitney U test, and comparisons of pre-treatment and post-treatment in anorexia group and non-anorexia group were verified by Wilcoxon signed-rank test. Results Depends on the presence of anorexia in child, Slowness in eating/Satiety responsiveness (SE/SR), Enjoyment of food (EF), Emotional undereating (EUE) and total scores were significantly different ($p$<0.05). Also, there were significant difference in SE/SR and total scores before and after the herbal treatment in anorexia group (p<0.05), and all scores tended to increase a few. However there were no significant difference before and after the herbal treatment in non-anorexia group, and the scores except for Desire to drink (DD) and Emotional overeating (EOE) were decreased. Conclusions Herbal treatment in children who have anorexia has improved their appetite in terms of eating sensitivity.

Purpose: The aim of this study was to testify whether clinical performance examination (CPX) was useful to evaluate comprehensive performance for nursing students just prior to graduation. Method: A cross-sectional descriptive study was designed to examine the usefulness. A total of 61 nursing students whose requirement credits were completed for graduation from a C University in G-city, at December, 5, 2007. Data were analyzed by Pearson's Correlation Coefficient and Spearman's rank Correlation Coefficient. Results: This study showed that both of the finals scores with paper and pens and the clinical practicum scores were not correlated with the CPX scores (r=-.031, p=.811; r=.028, p=.831). Consistency of scores between faculties and standardized patients was moderate (r=.752, p=.000). Conclusion: CPX was considered as a different and innovative evaluation from previous testing systems to test the various aspects of performance including knowledge, skill and attitude. Therefore, CPX under high raters' consistency was useful to test nursing students's final performance. Further study would be needed to develop the standard of CPX system.
Purpose: This study was conducted to determine the risk factors among patients with depression with Crohn's disease. Methods: Data were collected by questionnaire from 276 patients who were diagnosed with Crohn's disease at a tertiary hospital located in Seoul. Measurements included patients' demographic characteristics, clinical characteristics, depression level, and health-related quality of life. Data were analyzed using t-test, $X^2$-test, Wilcoxon rank sum test, and logistic regression analyses. Results: The incidence rate of depression (BDI-II${\geq}$14scores) was 31.9% (n=88). Univariate analysis revealed that being a woman, school graduation status, economic status (low), BMI(<$18.5Kg/m^2$), disease duration (${\geq}3$ years), CDAI (${\geq}150$ scores), frequency of hospital admission (${\geq}2$), extra-intestinal manifestation (arthralgia, stomatitis), administration of 5-aminosalicylic acid, and disease related quality of life (SIBDQ<50 scores) were associated with depression. Multivariate analysis revealed that economic status (low), school graduation status, and quality of life (SIBDQ<50 scores) were more likely to report high level of depression. Conclusion: Future research should consider managing depression as an essential component of comprehensive care for patients with Crohn's disease. In addition, further research is needed to develop strategies to better improve quality of life among patients with Crohn's disease who are depressed.

Background This study evaluated changes in nasal airway function following Le Fort I osteotomy with maxillary impaction according to the Nasal Obstruction Symptom Evaluation (NOSE) scale. Methods This cohort study included 13 patients who underwent Le Fort I osteotomy with maxillary impaction. Nasal airway function was evaluated based on the NOSE scale preoperatively and at 3 months postoperatively. The change in the NOSE score was calculated as the preoperative score minus the postoperative score. If the normality assumptions for changes in the NOSE score were not met, a nonparametric test (the Wilcoxon signed-rank test) was used. Differences in NOSE score changes according to patient characteristics and surgical factors were evaluated using the Kruskal-Wallis test and the Mann-Whitney test. Results Patients ranged in age from 18 to 29 years (mean ±standard deviation [SD], 23.00±3.87 years). Three were men and 10 were women. Eleven patients (84%) had an acquired dentofacial deformity with skeletal class III malocclusion. The preoperative NOSE scores ranged from 40 to 90 (mean±SD, 68.92±16.68), and the postoperative NOSE scores ranged from 25 to 80 (53.84±18.83). The cohort as a whole showed significant improvement in nasal airway function following maxillary impaction (P=0.028). Eleven patients (84%) had either improved (n=8) or unchanged (n=3) postoperative NOSE scores. However, nasal airway function deteriorated in two patients. Patient characteristics and surgical factors were not correlated with preoperative or postoperative NOSE scores. Conclusions Nasal airway function as evaluated using the NOSE scale improved after maxillary impaction.
Nanta means "tapping" using percussion instruments such as drums, which is the rhythm of Samulnori, a tradtional Korean music. Nanta speech rhythm intervention program was developed and applied for the children with limited speech sound production and investigated its effect. Nanta program provided audible stimulation, various sound loudness and beats, and rhythms. Nanta program consists of three stages : Respiration, phonation and articulation with the rhythm. Six children with language development delay participated in this study. Children were encouraged to explore sounds and beats and freely express sounds and beats. Along with the rhythm, children also were encouraged to produce speech sounds by increasing the length of syllables in mimetic and imitating words. A total of 15 sessions were conducted twice a week for 40 minutes per session. For exploring the effectiveness, raw scores from preschool receptive-expressive scales (PRES) and receptive-expressive vocabulary test (REVT) were obtained and compared before and after therapy. The results demonstrated that significantly improved receptive (p=.027) and expressive language scores (p=.024) in PRES and receptive (p=.028) and expressive (p=.028) vocabulary scores following intervention using Wilcoxon signed-rank test. These findings suggest that the nanta rhythm program can be useful for improving language development and vocabulary in children with limited speech sound production.
High turnover rate of nurses working in the hospitals is one of the serious problems in nursing society at the present time which can result in reducing the economic condition of hospital and providing low quality nursing care. This study was designed identify the causes and turnover rate of 248 clinical staff nurses in relation to their rewards and incentives in 6 hospitals located in Seoul from Oct.1 to Oct. 20, 1975. Questionnaires and analyzing items were formulated on the basic of Mallow's hierarchy of basic needs which were grouped in three categories such as safety and social and psychological rewards and incentives. The data were analyzed by means of mean, Chi square, Percentage and F- ratio. The following results were obtained: 1) There were 69% of respondents who have definitely decided or hoped to leave the hospital. 2) Those who are in the range of 26 to 30 years of age showed the strongest desire to leave the hospital. 3) There was no significant difference between those who want to leave the hospital and those who want to remain in relation to age, educational background, past experience and expecting period of clinical work. However, the married nurses tend to remain in the hospital than the single. 4) When the rewards scores in the three categories were calculated, psychological rewards were placed in the first rank by the mean score 14.09 ; and each of safety rewards and social rewards were 9.06 and 4.84. When the scores in three categories were compared it was found that there was significant difference. (F〈0.01).
The effect of commercial Doenjangs (Korean soybean pastes) on sponge cake making was studied. When Doenjang was added to e99 foams at levels of 5, 10, 15 and 20%, there were no big differences in viscosity or stability of egg foams up to 15%, and thus in cake volume index, compared to those of control (without Doenjang). In the results of preference rank test, cake with 10% Doenjang was preferred to the other cakes. Therefore, it was decided that the addition of 10% Doenjang was suitable for sponge cake making. When seven commercial Doenjang products were used at 10%, there were differences in physical and sensory properties. The decreased viscosity of egg foams reduced their stability and so decreased the quality of the sponge cakes with low volume index and low texture scores. The use of Doenjangs improved the flavor of sponge cake and so countervailed the undesirable egg flavor. Especially, “C” Doenjang product, which increased the viscosity and stability of egg foams, produced good foaming ability and the highest physical and sensory quality, thus the higher overall acceptable scores than the control. It was probably due to its high amount of protein hydrolysate above 10-KDa. Consequently, the suitable amount of Doenjang was fixed at 10% and “C” Doenjang product was chosen as the best among the commercial products for sponge cake making.

The glycemic index (GI) and glycemic load (GL) have been considered risk factors for breast cancer, but association studies of breast cancer risk using simple GI and GL might be affected by confounding effects of the overall diet. A total of 357 cases and 357 age-matched controls were enrolled, and dietary intake was assessed using a validated food frequency questionnaire (FFQ) with 103 food items. GI and GL dietary patterns were derived by reduced rank regression (RRR) method. The GI and GL pattern scores were positively associated with breast cancer risk among postmenopausal women [OR (95%CI): 3.31 (1.06-10.39), p for trend=0.031; 9.24 (2.93-29.14), p for trend<0.001, respectively], while the GI pattern showed no statistically significant effects on breast cancer risk, and the GL pattern was only marginally significant, among premenopausal women (p for trend=0.043). The GI and GL pattern scores were positively associated with the risk of breast cancer in subgroups defined by hormone receptor status in postmenopausal women. The GI and GL patterns based on all food items consumed were positively associated with breast cancer.
