국제물품매매계약에서 포장의 계약적합성에 관한 연구 (A Study on Conformity of Packing in International Sales of Contract)

  • Seller shall deliver the goods with a perfect condition of packing or container in international trade. Unless otherwise seller shall warranty that the goods arrive at destination with a safe and economic value. Buyer may ask packing is to be made in specific condition or refuse to accept when the packing is not made in accordance with trade customs between among merchants. Especially packing is to be considered under the local law and process. Sometimes tax will be added to specific condition of packing for example glasses, metal sheet or others. Warning signs shall be included as form of both words and diagrams, and be in form of ensuring understanding in the local market. Wide range of warning signs can be used for communications and understanding of packing. Packing of a product can usefully symbolize a range of product information, or any relevant warnings, and give an opportunity for displaying messages of promoting the company and the goods. The seller may choose the best method to maintain its value but find a way to reduce packing cost, size for convenience during delivery, design, and local customs. There are many things to be considered for packing to seller. The purpose of packing is to protect the goods itself and to maintain its economic value during storage, delivery, transshipment, and distribution to end users.

환경 친화적 시각에서 본 패션 미니멀리즘에 관한 연구 (A Study of Minimalism in Environment-Friendly Fashion)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze minimalism in the environment-friendly aspect and to suggest methodology of environment-friendly fashion design. The results of this study are as follows. First, it is possible to create newly fashion-designed goods by re-arranging used goods. This method is environment-friendly, in that it recycles resources and simplifies production process. It can also meet the sense of beauty of consumers by reviving the intrinsic beauty of the used goods. Second, When we produce brand new fashion-designed goods with used goods as raw materials, the new ones reflect specific characters of the used goods which originate from their own times and regions. In this way, this method can be a fashion design which accommodate multi-cultural trends. Third, it is possible to produce goods designed by inspiration from a human body. This fashion-design method includes several ways, such as usage of human body silhouette, composition of colors using natural dyeing, and usage of natural materials. Recognizing a human being as a creature interacting with the nature can broaden range of imagination in design methodology.

연령과 사회계층 변인에 따른 해외 명품에 대한 태도와 구매빈도 (Attitude and Purchase Frequency toward Foreign Luxury Goods Related to Age and Social Stratification Variables)

  • The purpose of this study was to find out the most pursuasive social stratification variables affecting the attitude toward foreign luxury goods and the purchase frequency and examined the difference in the attitude toward foreign luxury goods and the purchase frequency among groups divided by age and social stratification variables. The subjects were 521 married women over 25 years old living in Seoul and Kyong-gi province areas. The data were analyzed by multiple regression, ANOVA, Duncan's multiple range test, frequency and percentage. Social stratification was measured by family's monthly income, educational and occupational levels of married women's and their husbands' for an objective method while economic levels, social status, consumption levels, and cultural levels were used fer a subjective method. The results were as follows; first, the most explainable variables influencing the attitude toward foreign luxury goods and the purchase frequency were age and women's educational levels examined by the objective method of social stratification. Second, according to the subjective method of social stratification, the attitude toward foreign luxury goods and the purchase frequency were affected by age, economic levels, consumption levels, and cultural levels. Consumption levels which showed actual expense per family were the most explainable variable in the purchase frequency.

넉오프(knockoff) 패션제품의 구매행동분석 -여대생을 중심으로 - (Analysis of Purchasing Behaviors of Knockoff Fashion Product - Focused on Female College Student -)

  • Knockoff products, called forgeries or imitations, are copies of famous original brand goods from abroad. Most of knockoff fashion products manufactured in Korea are famous fashion brand names. The purposes of the paper us: first, to examine and analyze general consumer purchasing behavior toward knockoff fashion products; second, to analyze the purchasing behavior toward knockoff goods according to demographic features; third, to materialize the attributes of knockoff fashion items consumers purchase; fourth, to reveal the relation between the attribute types of knockoff goods, and demographic features and purchasing behavior. The result explained so for reveals that the students'purchasing behaviour differs according to demographic features and general features of the products purchasing. This result should not be interpreted by expanding to the whole group of girl college students or consumers, as the sample used in this study is limited to those in Seoul area. Therefore, following studies are expected to expand the range of subjects'age, and to compare and analyze purchasing behaviour difference of knockoff products and imported original brand names.

로테르담 규칙에 대한 평가와 전망 (An Appreciation and a Prospect on the Rotterdam Rules)

  • The Rotterdam Rules, which was adopted in December 2008 by UNCITRAL, has underlying intention that it will provide uniform law for the international carriage of goods by sea and modernize transport law reflecting modern transport custom. However, it is also true that there are various conflicting views on the Rotterdam Rules. This article tried to analyze main controversial issues such as scope of application, basis of liability of the shipper and the carrier, exception th the volume contract, legal position of the freight forwarder, delivery of the goods from the both sides of view. The Rotterdam Rules exposes some problems in applying and interpreting the Rules as many people indicated. These problems, I think, mainly due to the extended scope of application and broader range of issues. However, I do not think that the Rotterdam Rules will serious affect to the international transport industry. Furthermore, it is unreasonable to expect perfect Rules satisfying every interests.

혼합결제방식에서 수입화물선취보증서 발행은행의 보증책임 범위 (The Range of Guarantee Responsibility by an Issuing Bank of Letter of Guarantee under Mixed Settlement Method)

  • 본 연구는 선하증권이 발행된 국제무역거래에서 화물이 서류보다 일찍 도착하여 원본 선하증권 없이 화물을 인도 받기 위해 국제적으로 통용되고 있는 상관행인 수입화물선취보증서를 기존 연구와 다른 관점에서 고찰하고자 한다. 혼합결제방식 하에서 발행된 수입화물선취보증서의 보증책임 범위를 판례를 통해 분석하고 국제적인 상관행으로 자리잡고 있는 수입화물선취보증서의 원활한 활용을 위한 다음 두 개의 대안을 제언한다. 첫째, 혼합결제방식을 이용한 경우, 수출업자는 상업송장을 발행함에 있어 결제방식의 결제대금을 각각 분리해서 발급해야 수입화물선취보증서의 보증책임 한도에 대한 명확한 의사표시가 이루어질 수 있을 것이다. 둘째, 수입화물선취보증서의 발행은행은 보증서 발행의 보증책임 범위를 명확히 하기 위해 기존 양식에 책임한도를 제한한다는 취지의 문구를 추가한 새로운 수입화물선취보증서 양식의 구축이 필요하다.

The Impact of Trade Facilitation on the Extensive and Intensive Margins of Trade: An Application for Developing Countries

  • Previous literature has looked merely into the effect of trade facilitation on aggregate trade, or analyzed trade growth using the extensive and intensive margins. This paper blends these two lines of research for a detailed analysis of the impact of trade facilitation on trade by using highly disaggregated trade data and a more composite index for measuring trade facilitation, also taking into account the export sectors and income levels of countries. As a result, this paper finds that developing countries with higher trade facilitation levels export a wider range of products, especially primary goods. While trade facilitation levels do not have a statistically significant association with trade at the intensive margin in general, further analysis shows that the impact of advanced trade facilitation is the largest for lower middle-income countries in primary goods trade at the intensive margin, and the largest for upper middle-income countries in manufactured goods trade at the intensive margin. More importantly, our policy simulation results suggest that trade facilitation-related policy reforms enable developing countries to benefit from increased trade in manufactured goods at the extensive margin.

마커기반 증강현실을 활용한 캐릭터 굿즈 콘텐츠 개발 (Development of Character Goods Content Utilizing Marker-based Augmented Reality)

  • 최근 4차 산업혁멍이 관심을 받고 있다. 그중에서도 최근 증강현실 관련 디바이스들이 발전하고 있다. 하지만 증강현실 콘텐츠가 부족한 실정이다. 증강현실은 마커방식과 마커리스 방식이 있는데 마커방식은 마커가 되는 이미지를 카메라로 비춰서 증강시키는 원리다. 증강현실기술을 캐릭터 굿즈에 접목하여 상품 품질의 제고를 할 수 있는 방안을 제시하고자 하였다. 캐릭터 산업은 매년 규모가 커지고 있으며 그에 따라 캐릭터 굿즈의 종류도 다양해지고 있다. 캐릭터 아크릴 스탠드는 캐릭터 굿즈 중 하나이며 게임, 웹툰, 애니메이션 캐릭터IP를 이용해서 판매하고 있다. 캐릭터 이미지를 마커로 활용하여 캐릭터IP의 특성에 맞는 콘텐츠를 제작할 수 있도록 설계하였다. 웹툰 캐릭터를 선정하여 증강현실 콘텐츠를 제작하였고, 웹툰 특성에 맞게 음성, 말풍선, 웹툰의 소개를 보여줄 수 있도록 구현하였다. 증강현실로 시각적인 정보와 청각적인 정보를 보여줄 수 있는 가능성을 제시하였고, 이 연구를 활용하여 다양한 콘텐츠들을 포함한 제품들이 나올 것이라고 기대한다.

바 형태 정전기제거장치의 정전기제거성능 향상을 위한 연구 (1) (A Study on Improvement of the Performance of Pulsed AC Ion Bar (1))

  • In Display such as LCD, LED, and AMOLED or semiconductor related industries are required to have static ionizer in order to produce reliable goods since the ionizer can create balanced ion that is delivered to producing goods to minimize electrical damages when manufacturing. However, the most general type of ionization is called, "Corona Discharge" that has a slight chances to generate unequal and unstable amount of each +/- ion to the target object. Then, the ionization performance will drastically decrease and end up with quality deterioration problem. In this research, our objective to resolve the current issue via applying "Coupling Condenser" on each counter electrodes of Corona discharging type ionizer. The result is that the ion balance was maintained the satisfied range that is within +/-100V when we changed the duty ratio of the High Voltage of Pulse AC about 40 ~ 70%. In addition, when levelling the High Voltage of Pulse AC, the ion balance holds the range within +20 ~ 0V. Even though we have tested the same experiment for a year, we have seen the range changes roughly ${\pm}50V$.

니트웨어 문화상품개발을 위한 색상배색 연구 - 유채색과 무채색 배색을 중심으로 - (A Study on Color Coordination of Knitwear Items for Cultural Goods Development - Focused on the Combination of Chromatic and Achromatic Colors -)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate emotional images, preference, and purchasing intention on the color combination for knitwear cultural goods development. The subjects were 719 university students in Daejeon and Chungnam province, and the measuring instruments were 12 stimuli manipulated by the combination of chromatic and achromatic colors, and self-administrated questionnaires consisted of general color preference, emotional images, preference, and purchasing intention items of the knitwear cultural goods, and subjects' demographics attributions. The data were analyzed by Cronbach's ${\alpha}$, factor analysis, t test, ${\chi}^2$ test, ANOVA and Duncan's multiple range test, using SPSS program. The results were as follows. University students highly preferred black and gray color and deep tone on knitwear items, while they generally preferred blue and black color, and deep and pastel tone. The chromatic color combination was perceived as warm and conspicuous, but unattractive image. The achromatic color combination was perceived as cold and ordinary, but attractive image. Among the combination of chromatic and achromatic colors, gray & blue combination was perceived as more attractive image than red & dark gray combination. Color combination types of chromatic and achromatic color was showed some important differences on emotional image, preference and purchasing intention of knitwear cultural goods. Achromatic color combination was perceived as attractive image, and showed higher preference and purchasing intention than other color combination types.
