제주도 남원읍지역 대용량 빗물이용시설의 적정규모 및 농업용수 공급 가능량 산정 연구 (A Study on the Appropriate Size of Large Rainwater Utilizing Facilities and Estimation of Agricultural Water Availability in Namwon eup, Jeju Island)

  • Jeju Island is seeking reliable ways to secure alternative water resources using rainwater in order to conserve and manage its groundwater as sustainable water resources. The purpose of this study is to investigate the rainwater storage capability of small-size storage facilities installed at farmhouses in Uigwi and Wimi of Namwon-eup region. The rainwater outflows from the storage facilities in rain events were analyzed. The appropriate size of rainwater utilizing facilities are suggested to be about 5,800 ㎥ in Uigwi area and 4,900 ㎥ in Wimi area based on the calculation from the rainfall frequency and runoff amounts. If those facilities are put into operation in Uigwi and Wimi area, it is estimated approximately 32.3 and 11.5% of total agricultural water can be supplied by the facilities. Wimi area showed low rainwater usage because of less number of facilities relative to the size of farm areas and less intensive underground water usage. It is analyzed that more than 55% of agricultural water can be supplied by rainwater if 70 facilities without the rainwater facilities are connected to the rainwater utilizing facilities.

흙 지붕 표층 두께에 따른 빗물의 유출 수질 평가 (Assessments of Rainwater Runoff Quality from Soil Roofs According to Layer Thickness)

  • This study aimed at analyzing the runoff quality by the layer thickness and material of soil roof to make best use of the rainwater falling on it in terms of safety and efficiency and resulted in the following assessments. It turned out that the concentrations decreased more in T-N, $NO_3$-N, $NH_4$-N, T-P and $PO_4$-P in roof rainwater except 30 cm for the RW1 soil roof after passing through it than those of first rainwater. On the other hand, the concentrations in rainwater passing through gravel roof turned out to be equal or same to those of the first rainwater. As a result of analysis of metallic stuff in runoff, there was no indication of Cd, Cr, Mn and Pb as well. The concentration of Cu, Fe and Zn in rainwater through soil roof became less than that of the first rainwater. In this research, the soil roof showed the good efficiency in lowering the concentration of such components as nitrogen, phosphorus and metals. Based on the results from this work, more practical study would be required further in the future in relation to soil roof when installing the rainwater-utilizing facilities.

토지이용 시나리오별 용수공급 분석에 따른 빗물이용시설 최적 용량 결정 (Determination of Optimum Capacity Rainwater Utilizing Facilities by Analysis of the Water Supply by Land Use Scenario)

  • 우리나라 농업용수 공급은 대부분 저수지를 통한 공급 방법을 채택하고 있어 그 의존도가 매우 높다. 이에 적용 가능한 대체 수원을 활용하여 저수지 의존도를 경감시키고 안정적인 농업용수 공급이 이루어져야 한다. 따라서, 본 연구에서는 토지이용 별 시나리오를 구성하여 대체 수원인 빗물과 하수재이용수를 활용한 최적의 용수공급방안에 대하여 분석하고 빗물 이용시설의 최적 용량을 결정하는 연구를 수행하였다. 분석 결과 기존 논농사 지역을 하우스로 변경하여 빗물을 최대로 활용할 경우 안정적인 공급이 이루어졌고, 실제 빗물을 활용하고 있는 농장에서 1 mm의 강우에 약 0.82 ton의 용량이 필요한 것으로 분석되었다. 이에 최적의 시나리오를 MODSIM을 통해 결정한 빗물 저류 용량과 실제 모니터링을 통해 결정한 저류 용량을 집수면적당 저류 용량 비율로 분석한 결과 각각 약 31, 32 %로 유사하게 나타났으며, 빗물 이용시설의 최적 용량은 약 5,796,000 ton ~ 6,182,400 ton 으로 분석되었다.
