체결장치 비선형 거동을 고려한 교량 단부에서의 체결장치 압상력 평가 (Evaluation of Uplift Forces Acting on Fastening Systems at the Bridge Deck End Considering Nonlinear Behaviors of the Fastening Systems)

  • 실제 체결장치는 들림하중이 작용할 때 압축하중이 작용할 때와 동일한 강성은 작은 하중범위 내에서 유지되고 어느 정도 들림하중이 커지면 매우 강한 비선형 거동특성을 보인다. 압상력 기준을 초과하는 개소들에서는 보통보다 매우 고가인 특수체결장치를 부설하여야하는데, 설계하고자하는 선로 전체구간에서 그 비용은 매우 크게 소요될 수 있다. 따라서 경제적 설계를 위하여 체결장치의 비선형 거동특성을 반영하여 압상력을 정확하게 평가할 필요가 있다. 본 연구에서는 현재 국내 콘크리트궤도에서 주로 사용되고 있는 일반 체결장치들(SFC와 System 300-1)을 대상으로 압상력 작용 시 거동특성을 파악하기 위하여 실내시험을 실시하였다. 시험결과를 토대로 수치해석에 적용하기 위한 체결장치의 비선형 하중-변위선도를 도출하였다. 기존의 선형모델과 더불어 도출된 비선형모델을 적용하여 교량단부의 변형에 따른 체결장치에 작용하는 압상력을 평가하였다. 또한 교량단부 체결장치 압상력에 미치는 영향요소인 침목간격, 교좌장치 중심으로부터 교량상판 최 끝단에 위치한 체결장치까지의 수평거리, 교량 거더높이 등에 대한 매개 변수연구를 통하여 이들 영향요소가 체결장치의 최대 압상력에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 평가결과 경제적인 궤도 설계를 위해서는 교량단부에 부설되는 체결장치의 사용성 검토 시에 체결장치의 비선형 특성이 반영될 필요가 있음을 알 수 있었다.

  • 철도교량의 경우, 열차하중에 의한 영향으로 교량 단부에서 상향력이 발생하였으며, 이 상향력은 체결장치에 압축력과 인장력을 유발시켰다. 현재까지 이에 대한 안전성을 검토하기 위해 체결장치를 1방향의 스프링 요소로 모사하여 구조해석을 수행해 왔다. 이러한 경우에 스프링 요소의 강성은 압축력을 재하한 실험적 연구에 의하여 산정되었다. 따라서, 상향력은 체결장치에 압축력뿐만 아니라 인장력도 유발시키기 때문에 합리적이고 정확한 구조해석을 수행하기 위해서는 인장력을 재하한 실험적 연구로부터 산정된 병진방향 강성 그리고 회전방향 강성을 함께 고려해야 한다. 본 연구에서는 6가지 실험체에 대하여 탄성과 비탄성 실험을 수행하여 레일 연직방향 병진강성과 레일 강축에 대한 회전강성을 검토하였고, 체결장치의 구조적인 거동을 분석하였다.

콘크리트 궤도용 레일체결장치의 종방향 마찰거동에 대한 통계적 특성 (Statistical Characteristics for Longitudinal Friction Behavior of Rail Fastening System for Concrete Track)

  • 장대레일 궤도가 철도교량 상에 위치하는 경우, 교량과 궤도의 상호작용에 의해 레일에 발생하는 축력분포가 복잡해지며 부가축력이 발생하여 토노반상 장대레일에 비해 큰 축력이 레일에 발생된다. 이로 인해 교량상에 부설되는 궤도는 교량과의 상호작용 영향을 최소화하여 궤도와 주행열차의 안전성을 추가로 확보하여야 한다. 국내 철도설계지침 및 편람 KRC-08080(궤도-교량 종방향 상호작용 해석)에서는 상호작용의 주요 변수인 레일체결장치의 종방향 저항(마찰거동) 물성치가 유럽기준을 적용하여 특정 수치로 규정되어 있으나, 국내 철도에 적용하기 위해서는 실제 사용되는 체결장치의 성능 특성을 반영한 검토가 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 국내 교량상 콘크리트 궤도에 적용되는 레일체결장치의 마찰거동 실험을 수행하였으며, 이로부터 체결장치의 물성치에 대한 통계적 특성을 분석하였다.

  • This research carried out the experimental manufacture of the improved fastening device and its performance test as well as the structural improvement of the prototype of a new type of fastening device developed through G7 Project during the first year of the second phase. Firstly, a supplementary design for each part of the prototype was carried out in order to improve its performance and a structural analysis in order to review the stress on the fastening spring. Secondly, another prototype was manufactured and then a performance test was carried out with the criteria used for the same kind of test on the authorized ones, both at home and abroad. Finally, the usability of the device was reviewed by comparing above-mentioned test result with that of those already under commercial use.

콘크리트 궤도의 최적 탄성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Optimum Stiffness of Concrete Slab Track)

  • In recent railway construction, the concrete slab track is getting highlighted as main stream in track type. However, it is the fact that there are different opinions in selection of the optimized spring coefficient of elastic pad. In this study, the performance of vibration reduction in different stiffness of rail pad for ballasted track was compared, and the changes in characteristics, such as static/dynamic deflection of components, vibration acceleration, insertion loss etc., were analysed by using ISI Program for various types of rail fastening system used in concrete slab track. It was concluded that the fastening system with softer pads has shown the better performance of vibration reduction in concrete slab track and the optimized static stiffness has been calculated to 21.1kN/mm for conventional railways, 17.6kN/mm for high-speed railways and 17.8kN/mm for subways.

  • SMSC(Seoul Metropolitan Subway Corporation) is substantially taking the core role of mass transit system in Seoul Metropolitan area. When it was built, the design had challenged to sharp curved tracks less than 250m radius considering the protection of buildings and cultural properties as well as the connection to ground roads. Such circumstances have required a certain extent of slack in track geometry and therefore led to the construction of ballasted track with wooden sleepers. However, the dynamic force from running on sharp curved track has caused the misalignment and abnormal failure of track geometry, and it has resulted in a frequent maintenance and repair works which require a lot of cost and manpower. In this paper, we present the construction case of maintenance-free track system by using of concrete sleeper and elastic rail fastening system to ensure the safety of both passengers and trains, and to contribute the effective maintenance for track facilities of SMSC.

  • In case of the Korea Railroad, when we would decide the track structure, it has been introduced the whole track structure system based on only the foreign application cases and data offered by manufacturers without the process of the objective performance verification. The value of property for track materials, derived from the calculation of track structure, was hard to perform the objective performance evaluation among track structure systems because each manufacturer adopted the different test method and standard. To solve the above-mentioned problem, it should suggest the technical and objective evaluation method about the performance of track materials and meet with the standard of High Speed railroad and international railroad through the establishment and revision of performance standard. In the objective and technical respects, it will be a major role to decide the track structure. In this paper, I would like to summarize the case which was improved the problem of test method and standard exposed from the performance verification of Rail Fastening System among the track structure systems of High speed railroad.

  • Turnout is a mechanical installation enabling railway trains to be guided from one track to another at a railway junction. A movable nose crossing frog is a device used at a railway turnout to eliminate the gap at the common crossing (High manganese, block, assembly crossing)which can cause impact damage, noise and vibration. Our government has a plan speed up of conventional line to 250km/h semi-high speed. We had already developed flexible turnout with fixed crossing(High manganese) and SFC fastening system can cover in the semi-high speed line In this study is about development of the movable nose crossing turnout available Semi-high speed line on concrete track. This paper describes about geometry, attack angle, bending stress at the nose, switching force, safety of continuous welded long rails. This movable nose crossing turnout is expected greatly increases passing speed of turnout in national railway.

  • In this paper, safety requirements for guard rails, buffer stops, defensive structures, anti-fire facilities, and safety sidings are studied to establish a standard. Various kinds of guard rails and their construction methods are investigated. Researches on the level difference of main track and guard rail, joint. length, and fastening force of guard rail are done. The classification of buffer stops, defensive structures, anti-fire facilities, and safety sidings and its characteristics are examined. From this study, fundamental data on the safety facilities of urban railway system are established.
