  • Recently the urban railroad which is under plan and construction in domestic is under consideration Light Rail Transit mostly with the alternative against excess of working expenses of Midium Rail Transit(subway), inefficient transportation problem etc. It come to a conclusion that the application of the light rail transit is proper from reserve feasibility study and approval process of Master plan in Daegu urban railroad Line No.3 Based on hereupon, carried out the detail investigation for optimum system selection which suitable for Daegu urban circumstance in process of master plan can satisfy the working expenses decided in national expenditure support project.

  • The super-speed tube train was introduced to increase the speed of ground transportation. It levitates magnetically and runs in a partial vacuum tube, which significantly reduces air resistance. However, strong magnetic force sufficient to propel the massive train can affect the infrastructure. The induced eddy current produces joule heat, and raises the inside temperature of the girder, which might lead to electrochemical corrosion on the girder, thereby weakening its durability. In this paper, the authors analyzed the magnetic flux and induced eddy current in the reinforced concrete girder by using three-dimensional FEM, particularly by varying the number of reinforcing steels of the upper flange of the girder to the condition of almost the same flexural strength and reinforcing steel amount.

  • When a vehicle passes through turnout, it is required to minimize the changes of lateral force for running safety of vehicle. Therefore, it is necessary to analyze interaction between the vehicle and the turnout in order to estimate the lateral force and the derailment coefficient on the turnout. In this paper, analysis model of the vehicle and turnout are established and analysis is carried out when the vehicle passes through turnout in order to improve running safety of the vehicle on turnout. To verify the vehicle and turnout analysis model, the contact points between wheel and rail and the influence of changing cradle and tongue rail are also discussed.

  • In this paper, we describe the design method of carbody structure with side-buffer. Recently railroad industry has a new interest with stability, fixed time, low environment pollution and mass transportation. Accidents have little on the railroad but railroad industry is trying to minimize carbody damage and passenger injury in case of accidents. So a side-buffer having anti-climber is applied to meet each special needs. Carbody with side-buffer is assembled with aluminum(6005A-T6) parts that are extruded. As the results of the study, it is showed that carbody with side-buffer has sufficient energy absorbtion about crashworthiness.

  • As the railway transportation is getting faster and its operation speed has increased rapidly, its signal control has been complicated. For real time signal processing it is very important to prohibit any critical error from causing the system to malfunction. Today, most of the railroad's controling communications between wayside and train are made in one way. Therefore, by using a forward error correction technique, which receiver can actively correct the signal error, we can increase the performance and the stability of the railroad signaling system. In this paper, we introduce low density parity check(LDPC) that is used by next generation wireless communications and DMB technique. We verified that we can achieve low bit error rate(BER) in high signal to noise ratio(SNR) by using LDPC.

  • Korean railway Industry has not accumulated its technical system in the field of railway industry in despits of its centennial history, and its is subordinating to the other industries and railroad technique of developed countries. Therefore, Korean railway Industry should set up its technical basis, by setting up its technical system and knowledge on railroad. Korean railway Industry should made closed cooperation relationship of the industrial world, the academic world, research institutions and government containning long-term transportation and related technical policies with development plans of research institutions to enhence and improve railroad technique, so that it should escape from technical subordination of developed countries by reflection of the results.

  • Transportation routes by land like a human being blood vessel should exist for economic and trade exchange in Northeast Asia. Thinking from this point of view. I believe that TSR(Trans Siberian Railroad) and TCR(Trans Chinese Railroad). which will be connected with I would like to talk about .not only the effects of various international railroads and their connections but also economic activation TKR(Trans Korean Railroad). can play important roles. In this study, and effects in Northeast Asia which will be resulted from various international railroads construction. I tried to figure out comparative superiority and comparative advantage of the trade structure and industries in South and North Korea to find out the possibility of economic unification in East Asia. especial1y in Northeast Asia. This study also includes the effort to find out how trade exchange between South and North Korea can be expanded as a result of being a member of East Asia economic zone.

  • Transportation of goods by rail in border areas requires considerable time, money, and human resources. Therefore, in this study, a blockchain-based non-stop passing system is proposed to solve this problem. In this study, each transit station and train are designated as one network node, and the corresponding node participates in the blockchain network to record and verify data. In the process, we will design a blockchain network using Docker and design a network interface. Without changing the data and information generated in the existing legacy clearance system, it is possible to configure a blockchain network to ensure the integrity and reliability of the data and to minimize the consumption of time and human resources. The railroad non-stop passing system aims to change the existing legacy system to a blockchain-based non-stop passing system.

  • The purpose of this study is to determine optimal transportation routes through the comparison of Korean - European transportation routes of automotive parts and to suggest information that can be utilized in Korea - Europe trade activities or trade route selection by establishing multipath. This study analyzed the direct transportation cost, inventory cost, and warehouse inventory cost of the sea and TSR / TCR railroad transport based on characteristics of automotive parts logistics and multimodal transportation. Also, this study identifies the most effective transportation route from the viewpoint of total logistics cost. In addition to the economic factors, we conducted an in-depth analysis through interviews with corporate executives to identify the importance of the factors with the behavioral factors, and the reliability was further secured through interviews. Through this study, it is possible to understand various aspects of international logistics by analyzing the factors of transportation choice in terms of economic and behavioral perspectives concurrently by differentiating from existing research.

  • As the urban railroad durability period law has revised on march 19, 2009, the life cycle of urban railroad cars has lengthened to 40 years for the longest period. It seems to be attributed to the development of railroad car making technique along with their durability being longer thanks to the quality improvement of their materials and parts. As the stability of urban railroad cars is directly linked to the safety of passengers, safety should be considered first, and more precise examination is necessary for endurance extension. Hereupon, the rolling stocks with their durability near expiration should get precise diagnosis following the revised "RDG for urban railroad cars" This study aims to suggest a diagnosis method for the institute and the urban railroad operating body which enforce the revised diagnosis, through the case of Busan transportation corporation which firstly started the revised diagnosis after the durability related law has been revised.
