전동차 AC견인전동기의 가속열화에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Accelerating Degradation for AC Traction Motor in Urban Transit EMU)

  • In this paper, the diagnosis method for AC traction motor is to reduce their maintenance loads. We tried to apply this method to maintenance of traction motor in railway vehicle. Sample coils for stator of traction motor were tested by accelerative thermal degradation which composed of heat, vibration, moisture, and overvoltage applying. Reliability and expected life were evaluated on the insulation system for 200 class traction motor.

  • In this study, on-line measuring system were developed to verify performances and characteristics of electric braking system that is used in KTX(Korea Train eXpress) synthetically and efficiently Because KTX is commercial vehicle, effective measurement and evaluation of measuring signals were performed beyond the range of change for equipment components. KRRI(Korea Railroad Research Institute) described about running-braking measuring program, running-braking backup program and running-braking analysis program that were developed using a software called LabVIEW in this paper. Also, we analyzed the characteristics comparing experimental values with design values about braking distance, braking time, negative acceleration and braking effort in rheostatic braking and regenerative braking. In result, main performances and characteristics for electric braking system in KTX were verified.

  • 철도차량의 차상에서 수집되는 데이터는 차량의 이력관리 및 고장원인분석 뿐만 아니라 운영처의 경영과 관련된 정보를 제공해 주고 있다. 그러나, 이러한 정보는 단편적인 정보로 존재해서는 정보의 기능을 최대한 발휘하지 못하고 있으며, 정보의 양이 대형화됨으로 인해 정보의 수집 방법에 어려움을 겪고 있다. 본 논문에서는 현재 차상정보수집방법 및 정보분석방법에 대해 살펴보고, 무선에 의한 차상정보수집방법 및 차상정보의 정보화 연계방안에 대하여 기술한다.

  • The TPS accepts as input, vehicle parameters. control parameters. station parameters and right-of-war profile. Outputs of TPS program include velocity elapsed time and power profiles. This paper represents how to develop the TPS program. The TPS program simulates the operation of a single train under the input conditions.

  • 현재, 고속철도차량의 국내기술확보를 위해 한국형 고속전철이 개발되어 단품시험, 완성차시험, 공장시험 등을 통해 기본적인 성능을 확인한 후 현재는 본선시운전 시험을 실시하고 있다. 시제차량의 성능 및 기능을 종합적이고 효율적으로 확인하기 위해 고속철도 시운전시험시 상시 계측시스템을 시제차량에 설치하여 운영하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 상시계측시스템을 이용하여 보조전원장치에 대한 성능평가와 고장진단을 실시한 것에 대하여 연구하였다.

  • 본 논문은 경량전철차량시스템의 출입문장치에 주어진 목표신뢰도를 바탕으로 출입문장치 구성품별 목표신뢰도를 정의하였으며 출입문 구성품의 목표신뢰도 배분은 출입문의 설계 및 유지보수과정에서 발견된 문제점을 분석하여 작성되었다. 또한 경량전철차량 출입문을 설계, 제작 및 유지보수에 필요한 지침을 마련하였다.

  • Recently, in order to improve the efficiency of freight transportation on existing lines, a new freight train model is needed to develop urgently. The weight balance of the cargo for the freight vehicle is very important for the stability of the running train and the safe transportation of the cargo. For achieving the cargo weight balance, we proposed a Cargo Balancing Control(CBC) system on the Freight vehicle equipped in between under frame of car body and bogie system. The Cargo Safety Monitoring(CSM) system was designed to supervise status of the Cargo on freight train. The monitoring system can display real time status data from sensors and various signals effectively. We suggested that this paper is a very useful approach for keeping the safety of running freight trains on existing lines.

전기철도차량 운행에너지 실시간 계측을 위한 에너지 미터링 장치 개발에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Development of a Real-time Energy Metering Device for Electric Railway Vehicles)

  • The objective of this study is to identify the requirements for a energy metering device and develop a real-time energy metering device for measuring energy (electricity) consumption of the electric railway vehicle during its operation. The study also evaluated the performance of the AC voltage sensor, current sensor, and data meter for the device and performed EMC tests such as surge and EFT (Burst). The performance tests showed that the percent errors of the AC voltage sensor and current sensor were ${\leq}0.1%$, and ${\leq}0.5%$ under 10~127V, and 10~250A, respectively. The result of surge and EFT (Burst) tests also indicated that the device had no malfunction in any wave (combination and ring waves) under the treat level with 2kV. The result of the field test also confirmed that the device had no malfunction in data metering.

On the Performance Management System to Analyse the Effectiveness of Type Approval System for Railway Vehicle

  • The type approval system for railway vehicle has been in effect since 2016 in order to establish a regular safety management system to secure railway safety and enhance the technological competitiveness of the railway industry, abolished the conventional performance test system through the reform of the Railroad Safety Act in 2012. Until now, there has been appreciated it has been making significant contributions to railway safety and industry of operation and manufacturing companies, taking their place in accordance with the implementation of the system. But there has been no case of quantitative analysis on the effectiveness of the actual system. In this study, in order to examine the full-scale performance of the approval system and quantitatively analyze effectiveness, we identified and defined the relationships with the major elements of the type approval system based on system thinking principle and determined the calculated outcomes to relevant stakeholders. A method of establishing a type approval performance management system that can be grasped, utilized, and adjusted from a point of various stakeholders' views was proposed. This is expected to be more helpful in the implementation of the system, such as improving and applying quantitative effects to analysis by closely reviewing the effects and influencing factors of the type approval system based on the data accumulated through continuous performance management and reflecting to system improvement.

  • High-speed trains with maximum speed of 300km/h, named KTX, have started revenue services since April 2004. Because of the geographical features of Korea a large portion of the 'Kyung-Bu' line is comprised of tunnels, which may cause excessive noise in a vehicle. The KTX interior noise follows in tunnel structure and the place where the quality appears different, the quality against hereupon from the commerce vehicle from the research which it sees it executes and comparison to analyze.
