Normally, aero photography using UAV uses about 430 MHz bandwidth radio frequency (RF) modem and navigates and remotely controls through the connection between UAV and ground control system. When using the exhausting method, it has communication range of 1-2 km with frequent cross line and since wireless communication sends information using radio wave as a carrier, it has 10 mW of signal strength limitation which gave restraints on life my distance communication. The purpose of research is to use communication technologies such as long-term evolution (LTE) of smart camera, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and other communication modules and cameras that can transfer data to design and develop automatic shooting system that acquires images to UAV at the necessary locations. We conclude that the android based UAV filming and communication module system can not only film images with just one smart camera but also connects UAV system and ground control system together and also able to obtain real-time 3D location information and 3D position information using UAV system, GPS, a gyroscope, an accelerometer, and magnetic measuring sensor which will allow us to use real-time position of the UAV and correction work through aerial triangulation.

To investigate seasonal (summer and fall) daily movement of Brachymystax lenok tsinlingensis that inhabit in upper part of the Nakdong River, we attached radio tags to seven individuals (summer: BL1-2; fall: BL3-7) and monitored them at an interval of 2 h. The survey results revealed that the average movement distance per day (m) (${\pm}SD$) of B. l. tsinlingensis was $182.4{\pm}79.2m$, and most of the individuals migrated within 1 km as their habitat boundary. The maximum movement distance per day (m) and the home range (m) during summer season were $550.5{\pm}75.5m$ and $649{\pm}53m$, respectively, compared to $283.8{\pm}55.1m$ and $186{\pm}32m$ during fall season. From these findings, it can be inferred that B. l. tsinlingensis exhibits seasonal changes in the distance of daily movement; however, it generally covers short distances without leaving the habitat boundaries during both seasons. The seasonal daily movement of B. l. tsinlingensis established in this study is expected to be useful in preserving their population.
Domestic cats (Felis catus) introduced to insular environments can be invasive predators that often threaten endemic species and cause biodiversity loss or local extinction on the island. This study was conducted from March to July 2018 to understand the population size, home range, and spatial use of cats introduced to Mara Islet (N 33° 07', E 126° 16') in Jeju Special Governing Province, the Republic of Korea. Observation records based on their natural marks revealed that there were 20 adult cats on Mara Islet. A capture-recapture method also estimated 20 adult individuals (95% confidence interval: 20-24 individuals). According to our telemetry study on ten adults deployed with GPS-based telemetry units, the home range size was 12.05±6.99 ha (95% KDE: kernel density estimation), and the core habitat size was 1.60±0.77 ha (50% KDE). There were no significant differences in the home range and core habitat sizes by sex. The home range of domestic cats overlapped with the human residential area, where they might secure easy foods. Five of ten tracked cats were active at potential breeding colonies for the Crested Murrlet (Synthliboramphus wumizusume), and six approached potential breeding areas of the Styan's Grasshopper Warbler (Locustella pleskei), suggesting the predation risk of the two endangered species by cats. This study provides novel information on the population size and home range of introduced cats on Mara Islet which is an important stopover site of migratory birds as well as a breeding habitat of the two endangered avian species. Reducing the potential negative impacts of the introduced cats on migratory birds and the endangered species on Mara Islet requires monitoring of the predation rate of birds by cats, the population trends of cats and endangered breeding birds as well as the effective cat population control and management.

This paper describes playback downlink and telecommand uplink channel design performed for a transportable small-sized KOMPSAT(Korea Multi-Purpose Satellite) ground station. As a result of downlink channel design, required receiving performance was calculated from the threshold signal-to-noise ratio of playback signal and it was revealed that this performance can be guaranteed in 1.5 m ground station with 6.5 dB/K of G/T. For the uplink channel design, 40 dBW of EIRP was derived from the threshold signal-to-noise ratio of telecommand signal received at on-board receiver. The implemented small-sized ground station based on design was evaluated to be fully acceptable for KOMPSAT TT&C(Telemetry, Tracking and Command) system and playback downlink design without taking account of additional 3 dB system link margin was shown to be effective because it had provided constantly initial channel performance without any remarkable degradation over several years of tests with KOMPSAT and KOMPSAT-2, for both uplink and playback downlink in the elevation angle above $10^{\circ}$.

In this paper, we propose a compact antenna hat to perform RF compatibility testing efficiently between the launch vehicle and ground stations. The proposed structure implements a small size and low loss using the conductive shield instead of the conventional RF absorber. The S-band antenna hat, which is fabricated for an inverted-F onboard antenna with the size of $74mm{\times}13mm{\times}16mm$, has the small enclosure of $88mm{\times}35mm{\times}44mm$, the return loss of 25.6 dB, the insertion loss of 0.26 dB, and the leakage loss of 49.4 dB at the center frequency of 2.25 GHz. The simulated and measured results show a good agreement.

A Satellite transponder is mounted on the Satellite and performs radio communications with the ground station. A Digital transponder compared to The analog transponder is made easy and accurate performance prediction. Also Modulation Scheme, Data Rate, Loop Bandwidth, Modulation Index and etc. can be changed on orbit, by implementing FPGA can reduce the weight and volume. The core technology of digital transponder is Carrier Recovery loop. Dynamic Range, Frequency Tracking Range, Frequency Tracking Rate and Coherent performance are determined by the performance of the Carrier Recovery loop. In this paper, we proposed the structure of Carrier Recovery loop for the Satellite digital transponder, then tested and verified the structure.

To study a habit and life patten of a wild animal, this paper do a research on the location tracing system of wild animal by yagi-antenna low pass filter, angle tracking technology. Commonly, VHF Radio Telemetry is used for the location tracing system of wild animal. Considering movement, Previous yagi-antenna has 4-element and has advantage of portability but the other advantages are small and preference is weak. To make the advantage of yagi-antenna higher than previous one, Supposed technology adapt to 6-element and make out Narrow space yagi-antenna technology. Also, It supposes that AOA (:Angle of arrival) technology is applied to detecting technology for a close direction from received signal. Based on this study suggest that position tracing technology is so as to figure out a life patten and habit of a wild animal which live in a certain area.

Ground station in lunar mission is responsible to receive telemetry signal including sensor data from lunar orbiter and/or lander. At preliminary stage of developing this ground station, receiving performance such as antenna size and noise temperature should be designed on the basis of link budget analysis. When the antenna of ground station is pointing to the moon to communicate with lunar orbiter and/or lander, noise level is supposed to be increasing due to the lunar flux density. It means that the moon is working as a noise source to degrade receiving performance when antenna is pointing to the moon. Antenna noise temperature contributed by the moon was firstly calculated and secondary validated by using test configuration in this paper. Consequently, it was shown that antenna noise temperature caused by the moon was quietly matched with measured one and G/T degradation of receiving system in lunar mission can be calculated depending on antenna size and frequency.
The authors are making a prototype flexible board of a radio-frequency transmitter for measuring an electromyogram (EMG) of a flying moth and plan to apply for an experimental station license from the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications of Japan in the summer of 2022. The goal is to create a continuous low-dose exposure standard that incorporates scientific and physiological functional assessments to replace the current standard based on lethal dose 50. This paper describes the technical evaluation of the hardware. The signal of a bipolar EMG electrode is amplified by an operational amplifier. This potential is added to a voltage-controlled crystal oscillator (27 MHz, bandwidth: 4 kHz), frequency-converted, and transmitted from an antenna about 10 cm long (diameter: 0.03 mm). The power source is a 1.55-V wristwatch battery that has a total weight of about 0.3 g (one dry battery and analog circuit) and an expected operating time of 20 minutes. The output power is -7 dBm and the effective isotropic radiated power is -40 dBm. The signal is received by a dual-whip antenna (2.15 dBi) at a distance of about 100 m from the moth. The link margin of the communication circuit is above 30 dB within 100 m. The concepts of this hardware and the measurement data are presented in this paper. This will be the first biological data transmission from a moth with an official license. In future, this telemetry system will improve the detection of physiological abnormalities of moths.

This paper presents a microstrip antenna which recovers its resonant frequency and impedance shifted automatically by the approach of other objects such as hands. This can be used for telemetry sensor applications in the ultrahigh frequency(UHF) industrial, scientific, and medical(ISM) band. It is the key element that an frequency-reconfigurable antenna could be electrically controlled. This antenna is miniaturized by loading the folded plates at both radiating edges, and varactor diodes are installed between the radiating edges and the ground plane to control the resonant frequency by adjusting the DC bias asymmetrically. Using this voltage-controlled antenna and the micro controller peripheral circuits of reading the returned level, the antenna is designed and fabricated which recovers its resonant frequency and impedance automatically. Designed frequency auto recovering antenna is conformed to be recovered within a few seconds when the resonant frequency and impedance are shifted by the approach of other objects such as hand, metal plate, dielectric and so on.
