냉각된 복사천장패널의 열전달 특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Heat Transfer Characteristics of the Radiant Chilled Ceiling Panel for Space Cooling)

  • There is a chilled ceiling panel which carries out the air conditioning by radiation and convection between the room and cold ceiling panel surface. In order to verify heat transfer characteristics between them in cooling system with radiant chilled ceiling panel, analytical and experimental studies were performed for various design and operating parameters such as tube space and diameter, inlet water temperature, mass flow rate, cooling load, and so on. In this study, we found that the tube space and inlet water temperature were more important elements than the tube diameter and water flow rate for the performance of radiant chilled ceiling panel. The cooling capacity of the radiant chilled ceiling panel had the maximum value of $65W/m^{2}$ because the highest cooling capacity was limited by the condensation on the panel surface. The results of comparison between numerical analysis and experiment showed a resonable agreement qualitatively, especially for low cooling capacity.

자연환기와 복사냉방을 병용한 하이브리드 시스템의 제안 (A Proposal of Hybrid Cooling System Coupled with Radiation Panel Cooling and Natural Ventilation)

  • In order to saving the energy for HVAC system of buildings, utilization of wind-induced cross ventilation is thought to be promising. However, utilization of natural ventilation alone is not sufficient for maintaining the human thermal-comfort such as in hot and humid regions. A hybrid air conditioning system with a controlled natural ventilation system, or combination of natural ventilation with mechanical air conditioning is thought to overcome the deficiency of wind-driven cross ventilation and to have significant effects on energy reduction. This paper describes a concept of hybrid system and propose a new type of hybrid system using radiational cooling with wind-induced cross ventilation. Moreover, a radiational cooling system is compared with an all-air cooling system. The characteristics of the indoor environment will be examined through CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) simulation, which is coupled with a radiation heat transfer simulation and with HVAC control in which the PMV value for the human model in the center of the room is controlled to attain the target value.

  • Analysis of radiation heating system for producing 60" size PDP panels was carried out using $RADCAD^{TM}$ software. Optimum arrangement of infrared heating elements was found to obtain uniform temperature distribution in PDP panel during heating. Heating capacity of each heater was determined to obtain an appropriate maximum panel temperature. Parametric study to find the effect of design parameters such as the thermophysical and optical properties of glass and cooling system was carried out. As a reference system, about 35 kW heating capacity was chosen to obtain about 800 K maximum panel temperature after 30 minute heating. The maximum temperature difference in panel was below 20 K. The maximum/minimum and its difference in the panel were very sensitive to the variation of the emissivity of glass and cooling block.

공동주택 거실의 냉방방식에 따른 열환경 특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Characteristic of the Thermal Environment in the Cooling System at the Apartment)

  • The purpose of this study is to evaluate the efficiency of the thermal environment created by the cooling system at the apartment that combines the forced convection cooling(the system reducing humidity from room) with the floor cooling radiation which uses the floor panel from floor heating system, a general residential heating system in Korea. In this study, the combined cooling system in which air supply, spurt temperature difference and interior draft are reduced, is compared with the existing forced convection cooling system. To identify the effect of the comparison concretely, a comparative experiment is carried out on tour conditions, ie, convection cooling, floor radiation convection cooling and floor radiation cooling. Through it the characteristical thermal environment formed within the model room is analyzed, and the conveying system of compressed floor chill and condensation problem are reviewed.

복사-대류 겸용 하이브리드 냉방기에 대한 실험 연구 (An Experimental Study on Radiation/Convection Hybrid Air-Conditioner)

  • 그간 복사 냉방은 천정이나 바닥면을 냉각 표면으로 활용하기 때문에 표면 온도를 노점 온도 이상으로 높이거나 보조적인 제습 에어컨을 설치해야 하는 문제가 있었다. 본 연구에서는 주택 적용을 목표로 복사 판넬 표면에 결로를 유발시킴으로써 냉각 열량을 증가시키고 실내 쾌적감도 개선할 수 있는 1.0 kW 용량의 복사-대류 방식의 하이브리드 냉방기에 대하여 검토하였다. 이 냉방기는 2개의 냉동 사이클 - 강제 대류 제습 사이클과 복사 판넬 냉방 사이클로 구성된다. 시제품 실험 결과 복사 판넬 사이클의 경우 실외 $35^{\circ}C/24^{\circ}C$, 실내 $27^{\circ}C/19.5^{\circ}C$의 표준 조건에서 냉매 순환량은 8.8 kg/h, 응축 온도 $51^{\circ}C$, 증발 온도 $8.8^{\circ}C$, 냉방 능력은 376 W, 성적계수는 1.75로 나타났다. 또한 복사 판넬의 온도는 $13^{\circ}C{\sim}14^{\circ}C$ 사이에서 고르게 분포되었다. 또한, 상대 습도가 감소할수록 냉방 능력은 감소하나 소비 동력은 거의 변화가 없었다. 제습 사이클의 경우, 표준 조건에서 냉매 순환량은 21.1 kg/h, 응축온도 $61^{\circ}C$, 증발 온도 $5.0^{\circ}C$, 냉방능력은 949 W, COP는 2.11로 나타났다. 한편, 복사 판넬과 제습 냉방 사이클을 동시에 가동시키며 표준 조건에서 시험 결과, 복사 판넬의 냉방 능력은 333 W, 제습부의 냉방 능력은 894 W, COP는 1.89로 나타났다. 홴 풍량이 감소하면 복사 판넬, 제습부 모두 냉방 능력이 감소함을 보였는데 특히 제습부에서 감소량이 두드러졌다. 본 실험 데이터를 기반으로 냉방 부하의 변동에 대비하여 가능한 제어 로직을 제시하였다.

  • The hybrid air-conditioner, where air is cooled both by convection and radiation, is developed. The indoor unit of the air-conditioner consists of radiation panel and dehumidification coil, where refrigeration R-134a is supplied by independent refrigeration cycles. Optimum refrigerant charge was 750g for both cycles. Optimum evaporation pressure was 3.7 bar for the radiation panel cycle and 3.9 bar for the dehumidification cycle. The cooling capacity of the radiation panel was 1.01 kW and that of the dehumidification coil was 0.94kW, which yielded COP of 3.3.

  • The verified thermal efficiency, thermal capacity confirmed the effects of the cooling system. Therefore, it is useful for preventing the PV cell temperature rising when solar radiation accumulates in summer. When adopting a hybrid panel for the BIPV system, the affected areas include the vertical outside walls facing the south, southeast, and southwest on the curtain walls excluding windows. The standards on replace aluminum panel which were the popular exterior material were investigated, Designing practice made sure that it could be manufactured in various sizes, and confirmed the most proper method to install a hybrid panel in the BIPV system.

효과적인 패널 냉각을 위한 대향류형 냉각장치의 개발 (A Development of Counter Flow Type of Cooling System for Effective Panel Cooling)

  • 산업용 컴퓨터를 포한한 다양한 형태의 공작기계나 자동화 시스템의 배전반이나 제어 패널을 고효율적으로 냉각시킬 수 있는 시스템은 매우 중요한 요소이다. 따라서 이러한 냉각장치는 산업용 로봇, 수치제어 공작기계 등과 같은, 다양한 산업용 시스템에 널리 사용되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 패널 내부를 순환하는 공기를 강제적으로 유동시키는 냉각방식을 채택하여 효과적인 패널 냉각을 위한 대향류형 냉각장치를 개발하였다. 본 연구를 통하여 효과적인 냉각장치를 위한 핀 어셈블리를 개발하여 제어용 패널에 적용한 결과, 기존의 시스템에 비하여 냉각 성능과 열교환율이 개선된 결과를 확인할 수 있었다. 연구에 적용된 상용의 시스템에 비해 공기의 유동량은 약 20% 정도 증가하는 현상을 보였고, 열교환량은 약 2배 이상 증가하는 현상을 확인할 수 있었다.

  • In order to derive the detailed design of Thermal Shield Cryopanel. which plays a role to make the Tokamak Nuclear Fusion Equipment work at both static and efficient conditions the commercially available software package FLUENT Version 5.3, was utilized. This study investigated the effects of thermal sources and distributions on the temperatures of Lid. Body. Base. and EH-Port Cryopanel by the numerical technique whose grid generations cover the solid and 9as region of the panel. The physical model of the Thermal Shield Cryopanel is that the 10mm diameter of the pipe with 1mm thickness is soldered on the Stainless steel Panel with 4mm thickness. The heat fluxes to the panel are assumed to be by thermal radiation in the vacuum space and by conduction through the supporters. The inlet conditions of Helium gas are 20 atmospheric Pressures and 60K temperature. The panel shapes with cooling Pipes and the operational conditions to keep appropriate temperature distribution of Thermal Shield Cryopanel Have been found and suggested.

태양전지모듈 후면의 냉각조건에 따른 조립식 건축자재와 일체화에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Integrated Prefab Building Materials Depending on the Cooling Type of PV Mocdule Backside)

  • The application of photovoltaics into building as integrated building components has been paid more attention worldwide. Photovoltaics or solar electric modules are solid state devices, directly converting solar radiation into electricity; the process does not require fuel and any moving parts, and produce no pollutants. And the prefab building method is very effective because the pre- manufactured building components is simply assembled to making up buildings in the construction fields especially the sandwich panel. So, the purpose of this research is to integrated prefab building materials depending on the cooling type of PV modules. It is concluded that the prediction of BIPV system's performance should be based on the more accurate PV module temperature. From the basis of these results on the correlation of temperature and irradiation were obtained.
