Depending on the definition used, between 3% and 10% of live neonates are small for gestational age (SGA). The definition of SGA requires the following: (1) accurate knowledge of gestational age; (2) accurate measurements at birth of weight, length, and head circumference; (3) a cutoff, which has been variably set at the 10th percentile, 3rd percentile, or at less than 2 standard deviation from the mean, and (4) race and ethnicity-specific growth curve. Consensus statements are needed on the management of growth hormone therapy in SGA children, as well as treatment and long-term health outcomes such as impaired cognitive function, increased risk of adult cardiovascular disease, and type 2 diabetes.

Forming Community is important to manage and provide the service in Ubiquitous Environments including embedded tiny computers. Community Computing is that members constitute the community and cooperate. A mutual exclusion problem occurs when many processors try to use one resource and race condition happens. In the expanded concept, a group mutual exclusion problem is that processors in the same group can share the resource but processors in different groups cannot share. As mutual exclusion problems might be in community computing environments, we propose algorithm which improves the execution speed using RMS (resource management service). In this paper describes proposed algorithm and proves its performance by experiments, comparing proposed algorithm with previous method using quorum-based algorithm.

The dimensions of the human body vary by age, sex, and race. The internal structure and outer dimensions of a body exposed to an electromagnetic field is important for accurate dosimetry. The average physical size of Korean adult males between the ages 18 to 24 was investigated, and a male volunteer was selected whose physical condition is within the physical standards, ${\pm}5%$. Magnetic resonance images and partially computerized tomography images of the volunteer were acquired. The intervals between the transverse images were 1 mm for the head and 3 mm for the rest of the body. About 30 different tissues were manually classified by an anatomist on the raw images, and the segmented images were implemented in the form of a text file appropriate for numerical formulation.

유한상태 기계는 신뢰성이 요구되는 내장형 시스템의 제어흐름을 표현하고 검증하는데 많이 사용되는 모델이다. 하지만 자체가 가지고 있는 단순함으로 인해 복잡한 시스템을 명세하기에는 부족하다. 이러한 유한상태 기계의 단점을 극복하기 위해 다양하게 확장시킨 유한상태 기계들이 나왔지만 이렇게 확장된 유한상태 기계들에 대한 정형 의미의 부재로 인해서 요구사항중 하나인 명세를 검증하는데 어려움이 따른다. 이에 우리는 확장된 유한상태 기계의 정형 단계 의미를 정의하고, 이를 사용하여 모델에 대한 정형검증을 수행하였다. 그 결과 레이스 조건(race condition)과 애매한 전이, 순환하는 전이 등의 버그들을 모델에서 정형적으로 검출 할 수 있었다.

기존의 오용 기반 침입탐지 시스템에서는 변형되거나 새로운 해킹 방법에 대한 지속적인 탐지패턴을 지원해 주어야 하는 단점이 있다. 이러한 변형되거나 알려지지 않은 공격에 대한 탐지는 비정상행위 탐지 방법으로 본 논문에서는 컴퓨터 면역시스템의 부정 및 긍정선택 방법과 가중치의 특성을 이용하였다. 즉, 알리진 공격으로부터 특성을 추출하여 알려지지 않은 공격에 대응할 수 있도록 특성을 변경하는 방법을 사용하였다. 이러한 방법으로 공격 특성을 추출하고 특성 추출에 사용하지 않은 다른 공격에 대한 탐지를 실험한 결과 u2r 공격인 buffer overflow 공격과 race condition 공격에 대하여 정확한 탐지가 이루어짐을 보였다.

The term Anthropocene encapsulates the idea that the human impact on earth has already reached the level of a geological force with catastrophic consequences, such as global warming or climate change. The envisioning of an apocalyptic future of the possible demise of the human race is central to this idea. This paper seeks to explore the implications of the Anthropocene on the very idea of history and area studies. Does the planetary scope of the Anthropocenic condition, and the concerted effort in the global scale in the need to address it, mean the end of area studies, which is premised on a particularity of an area? Is a posthumanist history feasible? If yes, how can it really help address the problem? Or, it will merely muddle the issues?

오늘날 운영체제나 응용프로그램에서 레이스 컨디션으로 인한 문제가 발생하여 공격에 이용하거나 레이스 컨디션을 기반으로 한 공격을 막기 위한 연구가 진행되고 있다. 그러나 레이스 컨디션이 발생할 때 스레드가 자원에 접근하는 매커니즘을 응용한 보호기법과 관련된 연구는 미흡하다. 이에 본 논문에서는 레이스 컨디션이 발생할 때 스레드가 무작위 순서로 자원에 접근하는 점을 이용해 새로운 난수 생성 방식을 제안한다. 또한 이를 난수 생성 알고리즘을 사용하는 랜덤 모듈과 비교하여 더 안정적인 난수 생성 모듈을 개발할 수 있는 가능성에 대해 알아봤다.

Background No head to head comparison is available between surgical lip lifting and upper lip filler injections to decide which technique yields the best results in patients. Despite the growing popularity of upper lip augmentation, its effect on societal perceptions of attractiveness, successfulness and overall health in woman is unknown. Methods Blinded casual observers viewed three versions of independent images of 15 unique patient lower faces for a total of 45 images. Observers rated the attractiveness, perceived success, and perceived overall health for each patient image. Facial perception questions were answered on a visual analog scale from 0 to 100, where higher scores corresponded to more positive responses. Results Two hundred and seventeen random observers with an average age of 47 years (standard deviation, 15.9) rated the images. The majority of observers were females (n=183, 84%) of white race (n=174, 80%) and had at least some college education (n=202, 93%). The marginal mean score for perceived attractiveness from the natural condition was 1.5 points (95% confidence interval [CI], 0.9-2.18) higher than perceived attractiveness from the simulated upper lip filler injection condition, and 2.6 points higher (95% CI, 1.95-3.24) than the simulated upper lip lift condition. There was a moderate to strong correlation between the scores of the same observer. Conclusions Simulated upper lip augmentation is amenable to social perception analysis. Scores of the same observer for attractiveness, successfulness, and overall health are strongly correlated. Overall, the natural condition had the highest scores in all categories, followed by simulated upper lip filler, and lastly simulated upper lip lift.

In Korea, nation and nationalism are undeniable justice, absolute virtue and moreover system of desire. From the late Chosun Dynasty when the Korean Peninsula had to survive from the critical situation of being the arena of competition, and through the colonial period under Japanese imperialism, nationalism became stronger as a logic of survival. The policy of seclusion under closed and exclusive nationalism that didn't recognize the world situation well enough, eventually gave more pain to the nation. Nationalism in colonial Korea which was as reformed nationalism and on the other hand, as intransigent, resisting nationalism. Since the purpose of this writing is not for clarifying the argument raised on Korean nationalism, there is no use mentioning how it went with the change of time. But we have to focus on the fact that the word 'nation' which appeared under the influence of popular revolution and capitalism meaning 'a group of people', was translated and understood as a racial concept for strengthening the unity of 'single-race nation with five thousand years' history. First of all, there is nationalism used to fortify the system. 'The Charter of National Education' and 'The Pledge of Allegiance' were ornaments to intensify the ruling ideology and dictatorship to militarize entire South Korea for 'settling Korean democracy' professed nationalism. Also, another ruling ideology armed with 'self-reliance' put North Korea into the state of hypnosis called nationalism. Nationalism, claiming 'nation' outwardly, but in reality, being an illuminating, instructing ideology isolating each other was indeed a body with two faces. This made 'nation' in Korea mysterious and objective through work such as. The statue commemorating patriotic forefathers' and picture of national records' in South Korea art. Nationalism used to strengthening the system encountered the magical 'single-race' and made 'ghost' being an extreme exclusion to other nations. We can find pedigreed pureness not allowing any mixed breeds from the attitude accepting western art -via Japan or directly- and making it vague by using the word Korean and Asia. There's nationalism as a resistant ideology to solidify the system on the other side. It came out as a way of survival among the Great Power and grew with the task of national liberation to became as a powerful force facing against the dictatorship dominating South Korea after the liberation. This discussion of nationalism as a resistance ideology was active in 1980s. In 1980, democracy movement against the dictatorship of 5th Republic originated from military power which came out suppressing the democratic movement in Gwangju, spread out from the intellects and the students to the labors, farmers and the civilians. It is well known that the 'Nation-People(Minjoong)'s Art Movement could come out under this social condition. Our attitude toward nationalism is still dual in this opening part of 21st century. On one hand, they are opposing to the ultra-nationalism but are not able to separate it from nationalism, and on the other, they have much confusion using it. In fact, in a single-race nation like Korea, the situation of being nationalism and jus sanguinis together can cause dual nationalism. Though nationalism is included in the globalization order, it is evidence that it's effective in Korea where there are still modern fetters like division and separation. In particular, in the world where Japan makes East Asia Coalition but exposed in front of nationalism, and China not being free from Sinocentrism, and American nationalism taking the world order, and Russia fortifying nationalism suppressing the minority race after the dissolution of socialism, Korean nationalism is at the point to find an alternative plan superior to the ruling and resisting ideology.

하드웨어와 소프트웨어를 통합 설계하는 프레임워크인 PeaCE(Ptolemy extension as a Codesign Environment)가 개발되었다. PeaCE 에서는 데이터 흐름과 제어 흐름을 모두 표현할 수 있는데, 제어 흐름은 상태 기계를 확장한 fFSM으로 나타낸다. fFSM은 계층형 상태 기계로서 제어흐름을 표현하기 위해 많은 구문을 제공하지만, 모델에 대한 의미가 정의되어 있지 않아서 명세를 검증하는데 어려움이 많다. fFSM의 의미를 정의하기 위해서, 본 논문에서는 계층형 상태 기계를 먼저 평탄화한 후에 평탄화된 모델에 대해서 단계 의미를 정의하였다. 그 결과 레이스 조건, 애매한 전이, 순환 전이 등의 주요한 버그들을 정형적으로 검출할 수 있었다.
