  • Operating on its own to develop a system or based on the standard to setup and operating of RFID System. If you want to operate RFID system yourself then It is no problem to use its own to develop a system, but have to implementation RFID System based standard for the system integration and data linkage in multiple companies or base. In this paper, I propose an EPCIS Capturing Application of the element for applying an RFID-based EPC Network as an international civil standards organization EPCglobal. EPCIS Capturing Application generation is a message for transmission to EPCIS receives the data transmitted from the reader and middleware to serve to transfer the EPCIS. This paper also proposes Capture Interface capable of receiving the data of the equipment does not use the ALE Interface as a portable RFID reader ALE Interface, as well as used by the RFID reader to implement a fixed system for use in the field. In this paper, we propose a EPCIS Capturing Application for tracking the history RFID is applied to the finished product. It is possible to take advantage to be applied to all systems based on the EPCglobal standard through proposed the EPCIS Capturing Application.

  • This paper shows the key management system in a small metallic cabinet using a small UHF RFID tags. Each key chain with a key has a custom-designed small RFID tag antenna. There are 6 metallic racks in the small cabinet, and each rack can hold 60 key chains. Therefore, the small cabinet can hold 360 key chains with tags. The 360 key chains with RFID tags in a cabinet are recognized by RFID key chain management system. Even though it is hard to recognize 360 tags in the a cabinet, this RFID key management system with small custom designed RFID tags can recognize all the tags in the small cabinet. To read the all the tags, the locations of antennas and tag shapes are optimized. The reading rates based on the bios-version of the reader and the locations of the reader antennas are compared.

  • In RFID system, the communicated data can be easily eavesdropped and tampered with by an attacker because the communication between the reader and the tag is performed in an insecure channel. Therefore, authentication is an important role in RFID applications for providing security and privacy. In 2006, Lee, Asano and Kim proposed an RFID mutual authentication protocol (the LAK protocol) which utilizes a hash function and synchronized secret information. However, Cao and Shen showed that the LAK protocol is vulnerable to replay attack, and therefore an adversary can impersonate the tag. This paper proposes a new simple two-round RFID mutual authentication (TRMA) protocol based on secure one-way hash function. As a result, the proposed TRMA protocol not only can prevent various attacks and but also provides communication efficiency since they mutually authenticate by performing two-round between RFID tag and RFID reader.

  • In this paper, we propose a novel hybrid reader antenna using a triangular and rectangular sub-patch for near- and far-field RFID reader in UHF band. The antenna operates at 912 MHz, and the low-cost mass-production is available, since the antenna can be built by printing on a FR-4 substrate. The triangular patch is designed to produce a circularly polarized radiation along the bore-sight direction and the rectangular sub-patch is designed to generate a strong magnetic field over the antenna aperture. The measurement shows Hz field greater than -25 dBA/m(3 cm above the antenna aperture), and exhibits circularly polarized radiation(AR<3 dB) with a radiation gain of 6 dBi.

  • In this paper, UHF band RFID reader antenna using filbert curve fractal structure and adding the partially grounded plane at the bottom of antenna, which has a resonant frequency at 910MHz, is proposed. Input impedance of antenna is matched with the feed line of 50ohm by varying the length and width of line segment making up the antenna, and by moving the position of via hole. The gain and directivity of antenna is enhanced as varying the dimension of the partially grounded plane and adding the line segment. The size of fabricated antenna is $68mm\times68mm$. The impedance band width(VSWR<2) is $882\sim942MHz$. The return loss and the gain of fabricated antenna are -18.2dB, 5.3dBi at 910MHz.

  • For tracing tag locations, a trajectories should be modeled and indexed in radio frequency identification (RFID) systems. The trajectory of a tag can be represented as a line that connects two spatiotemporal locations captured when the tag enters and leaves the vicinity of a reader. If a tag enters but does not leave a reader, its trajectory is represented only as a point captured at entry and we should extend the region of a query to find the tag that remains in a reader. In this paper, we propose an interval data model of tag's trajectory in order to solve the problem. For the interval data model. we propose a new index scheme called the IR-tree(Interval R-tree) and algorithms of insert and split for processing query efficiently. We also evaluate the performance of the proposed index scheme and compare it with the previous indexes.

  • On the wireless communication between RFID Tag and Reader, there are some existing problems with weaknesses of security such as spoofing, replay, traffic analysis, position tracking, etc., in the established hash lock related algorithm. This paper has presented the comparison and analysis of the established hash lock related algorithm for privacy and in order to make up for this, also suggested a new security authentication algorithm based on hash which has an authentication protocol and creates hash function by using random numbers received from the reader on real time and every session. The algorithm suggested here can offer a several of usefulness for RFID authentication system and it has an advantage to reduce the amount of calculations compared to established algorithm. It also uses the tags needed among a lot of tags around which are expected later and it is expected to reduce a responsibility of the server by ending unnecessary tags' operation with time based.

  • In RFID system. when a variety of tags are present in the interrogation zone of a single reader at the same time, the system requires a multiple tag identification scheme that allows the reader to read data from the individual tags. Anti-collision algorithms required for the multiple tag identification are essential for the implementation of RFID system. This paper analyzed the performance of SFSA algorithm, which is easy to implement. According to the analytical results, the algorithm's performances are closely related with the number of tags and the frame size.

  • This paper proposes an efficient localization algorithm in the RFID sensor space for the precise localization of a mobile robot. The RFID sensor space consists of embedded sensors and a mobile robot. The embedded sensors, that is tags are holding the absolute position data and provide them to the robot which carries a reader and requests the absolute position fur localization. The reader, it is called as antenna usually, gets several tag data at the same time within its readable range. It takes time to read all the tags and to process the data to estimate the position, which is a major factor to deteriorate the localization accuracy. In this paper, an efficient algorithm to estimate the position and orientation of the mobile robot as quickly as possible has been proposed. Along with the algorithm, a new allocation of the tags in the RFID sensor space is also proposed to improve the localization accuracy. The proposed algorithms are demonstrated and verified through the real experiments.

  • Yagi-Uda UHF RFID(Radio Frequency Identification) tag antennas with long reading range have been designed. According to ISO-18000, EIRP(Effective Isotropic Radiation Power) of reader and reader antenna is limited as 36 dBm. Therefore, the gain of a tag antenna should be high enough to extend the reading range. Yagi-Uda antenna has been applied to a UHF RFID tag antenna, and high gain and long reading range have been achieved. Three different of Yagi-Uda UHF antennas have been optimized to achieve the small size with low back-lobe patterns. The sizes, reading ranges and return loss of Yagi-Uda tag antennas are compared and measured.
