This research is about the development of RFID education system which is designed for experience use to understand concepts and characteristics of RFID not in the industry but in the education field. We implemented the RFID education system on the basis of the design which is focused to induce the participation and interests of trainees. We applied technologies such as RFID tag reader, database, image processing, visual program and web program for this system. Also, we applied the system in the education field and checked an education quality from trainees. Thus, we expect that this study is a framework of RFID education system and is used widely for basic education of understanding and utilization of RFID in the educational institutions and industries.

Recently, there has been much research to develope and apply RFID technology, which has a kcy role in the upcoming ubiquitous society, in many fields such as physical distribution, traffic control, medical service, and so on. However, there has been little research on a ubiquitous education or learning including 'u-Campuses' and 'u-Libraries'. Based on the characteristics of RFlD, this paper proposes a system for English learning required in globalization age. RFID tags and sensors utilize wireless communications to track the location and status information of the user to deliver English situated learning services. The current RFID-based system should use quite a different rniddleware, compared with a general-purpose middleware on server or desktop. The RFID system is used on a mobile PDA and consists of essential APIs such as reader and tag control, queue, and filter management.

Today, using RFID(Radio Frequency Identification) card is extended in diversity as medical treatment, circulation market, military affairs, manufacture, security, etc. The RFID technology is an automatic identification method, relying on storing and remotely retrieving data for the purpose of identification using radio waves. This advantage of the RFID will be as a replacement for traditional Barcoding. Besides, book-lending system and attendance management system become the center of educational institution in interest. This paper presents a attendance management system using the RFID card which provides directly information of attendance for professors with mobile and students with web. Also, the students only have ID card that embed RFID tag which is recognized attendance through DB that storages to is received a information of student from RFID card Reader. And it is possible management or report for attendance and time table not only for professors by management program but also for students by web program.

Ubiquitous computing and mobile technologies provide much scope for designing innovative learning experiences that can take place in a variety of indoor and outdoor settings, such as botanical gardens, parks, museums and classrooms. In this paper, we present our own innovative work for bridging indoor and outdoor field-trip learning activities with the support of RFID with reader device on ubiquitous environments. The function of our system is based on strategically located RFID tags placed on objects around settings which are identified using the mobile device installed to an RFID reader. The mobile device reads the RFID tag and sends the learner's request to the field-trip learning system. And learners can be learning activities according to theirs learning levels. We also focus on the use of intelligent agents to customize learning contents for individual learners. The result of our experiment indicates that learner enjoyed learning where mobile devices are used in the system, supporting the learning activities in the context of which they are taking place.

As ubiquitous computing is evolving, RFID/USN technology is largely applied to various fields. Although there has been much research on the improvement of educational environment using RFID/USN technology, there has been little research on the learning improvement using it. So, in this paper, we used RFID/USN technology to find out the location and situation of students for Chinese situation learning system. We developed a mobile RFID middleware for Chinese situation learning system reflecting Chinese characteristics compared with English on PDA. In USN environment, we designed a USN system, which gets the situation information through a sensor network with sensors and sends them for helping learners study in situation learning. We took a pilot test to a small group for the analysis of the system.

In molds management systems using radio frequency identification (RFID), in the case where the RFID tag is lost, the RFID technology cannot be utilized to identify the location of the logistics. In order to solve this problem, a multi-sensor-based mold management system using RFID and infrared sensors is proposed in this paper. The proposed system uses RFID to identify the location of the mold and, by installing infrared sensors on the mold racks, the manager can identify the presence and location of the mold by reaffirming whether the mold exists in that location or not.

U-러닝이라고 하는 새로운 패러다임이 교육 현장에도 적용되고 있다. 그렇지만 유비쿼터스 학습에 대한 충분한 선행연구나 지원 콘텐츠의 개발이 이루어 지지 않는 상태에서 u-러닝을 구현하기에는 많은 어려움이 따른다. 이에 본 연구에서는 먼저 교사, 학부모의 u-러닝과 RFID에 대한 인식 상태 조사, 그리고 출결관리 시스템을 개발하여 학생들에게 적용하여 봄으로써 미래 교육의 바람직한 모델을 제시하고자 하였다.

그동안 업무 전산화 차원에서 정보화를 추진해 오던 대학들이 최근 디지털 캠퍼스 구축의 일환으로 온라인 학사행정 시스템, 모바일 캠퍼스, 전자도서관 등을 잇따라 선보이며 정보화 영역을 넓히고 있다. 이러한 유비쿼터스의 대열에서 핵심기술로 전파식별(RFID, Radio Frequency IDentification)과 함께 U-센서네트워크가 두각을 나타내고 있다. 본 논문에서는 현재 두각을 나타내고 있는 RFID태그 시스템을 기반으로 ERP를 도입한 행정업무의 통합시스템 구축 및 디지털 도서관 시스템, 다양한 서비스 제공이 가능한 스마트카드 시스템 등 U-캠퍼스 구축을 위한 통합관리시스템 모텔을 제안하고자 한다. 통합관리시스템은 교육기관의 노동집약적이던 시스템에서 벗어나 투명하고 효율적인 행정관리와 원스톱 서비스 제공을 통해 보다 질 높은 교육환경을 제공할 수 있으며 사용자는 요구와 환경에 맞는 개인화$\cdot$지식화된 지능형 교육 서비스를 받을 수 있다.

ERP is an integrated information system to manage all human and material resources in offices. Therefore, the business competitiveness is reinforced. The best requirement of ERP is the real time data collection and analysis in ubiquitous environment. Passive information collection is a problem in existing ERP system. To solve that problem, active system is proposed using RFID Tag and Reader. From the simulation results, we confirm that resource information is acquired and event message is occurred after fixed time. In this paper, the real time management system of industry resource with RFID collects resource information actively instead of passive information collection and supports the event according to the schedule.

과학과 정보통신 관련 기술 교육은 그 교육적 잠재력이 무한하고 이에 따른 열의 또한 높아지고 있다. 그러나 기초과학 교육의 산실이라 할 수 있는 초등학교 과학 실험 환경은 매우 열악하여 학생들은 각종 위험 상황에 노출되어 있고 교사들은 학생들을 각종 안전사고에서 보호하기 위해 실험 환경을 과도하게 통제하게 되어 학생들은 기본적인 활동에 상당한 제약을 받아 과학에 대한 의욕과 흥미가 저하되는 문제가 발생하게 되었다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 문제점들을 해결하기 위하여 최근 유비쿼터스(Ubiquitous)컴퓨팅 기술로 주목을 받고 있는 RFID(Radio Frequency IDentification) 기술을 이용하여 실험 약품에 고유의 전자태그를 부여하고 Mobile RFID 리더기가 장착된 PDA를 이용하여 약품의 개별 정보와 관련 과학실험 방법을 비롯하여 실시간으로 안전교육을 받을 수 있는 시스템을 통해 안전 조건이 미비한 실험실의 물리적 환경 개선을 통해 보다 능률적이고 심도 있는 과학 실험 환경을 구축할 수 있는 시스템을 설계하였다.
