X/40/60 PLZT thin films were prepared by sol-gel processing and annealed by rapid thermal annealing(RTA). X/40/60 PLZT thin films were crystallized at 75$0^{\circ}C$ for 5min by RTA. Hysteresis curves were narrowed and coercive field was decreased from 50kV/cm to 31.2 kV/cm and remnant polarization was also decreased from 14.3$\mu$C/$\textrm{cm}^2$ to 6.72$\mu$C/$\textrm{cm}^2$ as La mol% increased. Dielectric constanat and optical transmittance were increased with increasing La mol%.

The ceramic dielectrics were fabricated by mixing of Mn $O_2$ and ZnO at (B $a_{0.85}$ $Ca_{0.15}$)Ti $O_3$ and studied for dielectric relaxation characteristics. The dielectric relaxation time was increased by space charge polarization of palaelectric layer at the low temperature and frequency but it was decreased by Interface polarization at the high temperature and frequency. The remnant polarization and coercive field of ceramic dielectrics was decreased by rising temperature.ure.

Foreign bodies of the parapharyngeal space can cause severe complications such as descending suppurative mediastinitis, jugular thrombophlebitis, cavernous sinus thrombosis and carotid erosion. Therefore, early diagnosis and surgical intervention are needed to reduce morbidity and mortality. We present a case of a toothbrush as foreign body in the parapharyngeal space in 28-year-old male patient. The tooth brush was broken and the remnant of that was left in the patient's mouth. Under general anesthesia, intraoral approach was undertaken and successfully the toothbrush was removed, and then incision and drainage was done by transcervical approach. We report this case with review of literature.

It was reported in our Previous paper that the fermented products from Gloeostereum incarnatum strongly inhibit the growth of six kinds of bacteria in human bodies. In this paper the appropriated conditions of immersing culture for the strain 8 903 of Gloeostereum incarnatum was analysed. And the output of the hypha and fermentative product was determined or compared, The prelimenaryresults showed that the appropriated conditions for the growth of Gloeostereum incarnatum are: (1)culture medium:glucose 3%; protein peoptne 0.2%; soybeancake power 1%, yeast power 0.3%; KH2PO40.05%; MgSO4 0.03%; CaCO3 0.01%; vitamin Bl 0.001%; befor sterilization pH Value of six should be maintained; (2) temperature; 27$^{\circ}C$～28$^{\circ}C$; (3) time; about 200 hours; (4) ventilation; (30%～50%)/min. The sigh of the end culture we: pH coming down about 4: remnant glucoses less 1%, amino nitrogens about 20;, time about eight days. In the aforementioned conditions, the output of fermentative product achieve to 2.5 ～3g/L.

The GMR ($d_Cu$) oscillatory behaviour as well as the widths of first and the second antiferromagnetically coupled ranges of the Permalloy ($Py=Ni_{83}Fe_{17}$)/Cu multilayers have been found to be strongly affected not only by the presence of the superparamagnetic/paramagnetic entitles located at the Py/Cu interfaces but mainly by the existence of the magnetic bridges between Py layers. The effectiveness of the magnetic bridges has been found to be temperature dependent, leading to the temperature dependence of the remnant to saturation magnetization ratio ($M_R/M_S$). We have found that for Py/Cu multilayers with equal Py and Cu layer thicknesses a high field sensitivity of the GMR effect (0.4%/Oe) and negligible hysteresis can be achieved when the number of Py layers decreases from 100 to 6. Sensitivity can be further improved by increasing the Py layers thickness, but the hysterstic effect becomes more pronounced then.

Recently, thick PZT films are required for the cases of micro piezoelectric devices with high driving force, high breakdown voltage and high sensitivity, and so on. In this work, thick PZT films were fabricated by Sol-Gel multi-coating method. Microstructures, and electrical properties of films were investigated by XRD, FESEM, impedance analyzer, and P-E hysteresis. PZT films with 2.7$mu extrm{m}$ to 4.4${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$ thickness were fabricated. Dielectric constant, loss, remnant polarization and coercive field of them were 880~1650 at 1kHz, 2~3% at 1kHz, 26~32 $\mu$C/$ extrm{cm}^2$, and 33~60kV/cm, respectively. Also a transverse piezoelectric coefficient $(e_{31,f})$ measurement system was fabricated and tested for thick film samples.

This study presented the results of ophthalmic examinations performed on 545 Korean Jindo dogs. The most prevalent ocular variation within normal limits was hyoid vessel remnant (12.7%) and prominence of lens suture was also noticed (1.7%). The most common ocular diseases were retinal scars (6.8%), focal cataract (4.6%) and persistent pupillary membrane (4.2%). Inherited ocular diseases found in this study were persistent pupillary membrane (4.2%), persistent hyperplastic primary vitreous (0.6%), retinal dysplasia (0.6%), entropion (0.4%) and progressive retinal atrophy (0.4%). The prevalence of ocular diseases was higher in Male than in Female and proportionately higher in the older dogs. The most prevalence was shown in white coat color dogs. The fundus color changes according to the age was not related in coat colors and shown same pattern.

Stump pyometra is defined as a reinfection or inflammation of uterine remnant after ovariohysterectomy. We surveyed four bitches which were serviced in the veterinary medical teaching hospital of Seoul National University. In this Paper we studied the method for diagnosis of stump pyometra by symptoms, blood tests, and ultrasound films. To detect the stump pyometra is difficult because clinical signs are verb similar to the normal pyometra. Especially symptoms could noticed be noticed even by their owner until dogs have a vaginal discharge. Blood test also were in normal range in each item except in the elevation of the number of while blood cells. We conclude ultrasonic observation add experimental laparotomy has a significant meaning to diagnosis the stump pyometra.

Initial oxide layer on the butt surface fragments during friction stir welding (FSW) and then often remains as a faint zigzag-line pattern on the cross section. When remnant of the oxide layer often adversely affects the mechanical properties in the weld, it is called as 'kissing-bond'. The present study systematically examines effect of oxide array on bend property in the root of friction stir (FS) welded Al alloy 1050 by transmission electron microscopy (TEM), and then clarifies identity of the kissing-bond.
