일본 폐플라스틱 재활용 현황

  • 세계적으로 재활용 활동이 잘 이뤄지는 나라를 들라면 일본을 빼놓을 수 없다. 일본은 스티로폴을 포함한 플라스틱에 대한 사용 규제 제도는 시행하지 않고 있다. 그러나 자원 재순환정책의 일환으로 물질 재활용(Material Recycle), 에너지 재활용(Thermo Recycle), 화학적 재활용(Chemical Recycle) 등 다양한 재활용 방법을 적극 장려하고 있다.

  • 탄소섬유(CF) 강화 폴리프로필렌(PP) 복합재료의 수요는 증가되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 재활용 횟수에 따라 변화되는 복합재료의 물성 변화를 관찰하였다. CF 함량을 20% 함량으로 조성한 복합재료에 대해서 재활용 횟수에 따른 기계적 물성 평가를 진행하였다. 인장, 굴곡, Izod 동적 피로 실험에 따른 영향을 확인하였다. CF/PP 복합재료의 계면 물성을 평가하기 위해 젖음성 평가와 파단면을 FE-SEM으로 확인하였다. 재활용 횟수에 따라 섬유와 기지는 변화된다. CF/PP 복합재료는 재활용 할수록 섬유와 기지간의 계면에 열 데미지와 분쇄 과정에 의한 결합력 감소가 확인하였다.

UASB를 이용한 혐기성 하수처리공정에서 ABF 유출수 반송에 따른 유기물질과 질소 및 인 제거 (Removal of Organic Matter, Nitrogen and Phosphorus in an UASB Sewage Treatment Process with Recycle of Aerated Bio-Filter Effluent)

  • UASB-ABF (Up-flow anaerobic sludge blanket-aerated bio-filter) 시스템을 이용한 하수의 혐기성처리 방법에서 질소와 인을 제거하는 공법에 대하여 연구하였다. 160일간의 UASB-ABF 시스템을 운영한 결과 유출수 반송을 통하여 TCOD뿐만 아니라, TN과 TP를 효율적으로 제거할 수 있었다. 무반송의 경우 UASB 반응조에서 유기물 제거효율은 64%에 머물었으나, 반송률 120%, 180%, 240%로 증가한 결과 각각 92%, 95%, 96%로 향상되었다. 반송률 180% 이상에서는 유기물 제거효율 증가폭은 크지 않았다. ABF 유출수 반송으로 TN 제거효율이 크게 향상되었다. TN 제거효율은 무반송 조건일 때 18%에서 82%로 향상되었으며, UASB에서 지속적인 유기물질 제거로 인하여 ABF에서 질산화효율은 안정적으로 95% 이상으로 타나났다. ABF 유출수 반송으로 TP 및 $PO{_4}^{3-}$-P 제거효율이 모두 향상되었다. TP의 경우 무반송에서는 거의 제거되지 않았으나, 반송률이 120%, 180%, 240%에서는 각각 51%, 63%, 71%로 향상되었고, 주로 UASB에서 제거되었다.

Ar과 $CO_2$ 첨가에 따른 디젤기관의 성능에 관한 연구 (A Study on Diesel Engine Performance with Ar and $CO_2$ Addition)

  • The re quest to develop the engines that are able to run without air or with very little oxygen condition is raised with the interest of ocean science or the mines. This research had already be gun before the world war II, but had been stagnant owing to the appearance of nuclear power. Recycle diesel engines have ability to run under the above mentioned condition the recycle diesel engine recirculates exhaust gases into intake port and consumes additional oxygen supplied by oxygen tank. Carbon dioxide is controlled by the absorber. The combustion and emission characteristics of recycle diesel engines are quite different with conventional one because the working fluids of recycle diesel engines consist of Ar, $CO_2$ and $O_2$ as well as $N_2$. Recycle diesel engine is therefore different with general diesel engine from the viewpoint of intake air composition. It is required to investigate the effect of intake composition in the combustion and emission to know recycle diesel engine. In this study, NOx concentration, smoke and cylinder pressure are measured with the variation of Ar and $CO_2$ Reduces show that the addition of Ar reduces NOx but increases smoke. Otherwise $CO_2$ reduces smoke and NOX simultaneously. Only $CO_2$ increases the ignition delay and both gases increase fuel consumption Ar addition is superior to $CO_2$ addition for the performance of recycle diesel engine system but $CO_2$ has the avantage with respect to emission.

  • There are operated the six thousand train in the interior of a country. 95% of them are possible usage of resuscitation. Especially, Among them VVVF-Inverter vehicle has a merit of the highest recycle rate. but we don't use a apt recycled energy. Although the existing recycle energy used inverter method supply with electric power, it is decided in accordance with the state of sources. So efficiency of recycled electric power is of poor quality and catenary-voltage-fluctuation be generate because of recycled electric power. and it is able to affect system of safety train service. We'll research the method of supply according to wire condition after storing recycle energy made during train's stopping relation to Advanced EMU Research. Those methods are divided SMES, Fly-Wheel and Supercapacitor, and Considering the both economical efficiency and system application, we'll develop recycle energy storage system suitable our country condition.

Utilization of Deodorized Poultry Feces with Tolura sp. CH-30

  • Treatment of poultry feces with Tolura sp. CH-30 produced a material that was significantly deodorized and showed a promotive effect on plant growth. Tolura sp. CH-30 grew on the poultry feces, deodorizing the feces by assimilation of volatile fatty acids, which are the source of the offensive odor, as a carbon source. Significant degradation of uric acid also occurred. In the treatment of feces with Tolura sp. CH-30, it was possible to deodorize feces in a short time, but reduction in the amount of urate-N was not enough. Urate-N inhibited plant growth due to an excessive nitrogen content produced as a result of rapid decomposition. Therefore, we propose a recycle-treatment plan using poultry feces treated with Tolura sp. CH-30. After the recycle-treatment, the amount of urate-N contained in the recycle-treated poultry feces was small and the recycle-treated poultry feces showed a promotive effect on plant growth when it was added at a nitrogen content of 1.6 g/600 g soil/pot.

부착증식공정에서 내부 반송율 변화에 따른 생물학적 제거 특성 (Biological Removal Characteristics by the Internal Recycle Rate in the Attached Growth Process)

  • This study was conducted to investigate the contaminants removal efficiency and the optimal operating parameters by the internal recycle rate (IRR) in the combining A2/O process with fixed film. The average removal efficiency of BOD and COD was 92.5%~94.6%, 73.9%~87.0% in RUN 1 and 91.9%~94.7%, 77.7%~89.0% in RUN 2, respectively. Organic removal efficiency, at two different hydraulic retention time of 10 and 14hr, was similar. At 50% of the internal recycle rate, organic removal efficiency was somewhat higher than the other. Total nitrogen (T-N) and total phosphorus (T-P) were removed, highly, at 50% of internal recycle rate. It could be suggested by this study that the optimum internal recycle rate is 50% and hydraulic retention time is 14hr.

  • A process for efficient recycle fed-batch culture was carried out to increase cell mass and spore production by Lactic acid bacteria isolated from Kimchi. A large quantity of cell mass obtained by feeding concentration of sugar in recycle fed-batch culture. When the high density of salt was created that the cell mass was come-down. In this study, cultured in different feeding concentration of sugar conditions. Lactic acid bacteria by recycle fed-batch culture was investigated in 2L working volume of fermenter, obtained the maximum cell mass was 15.17g/L.

  • The effect of external recycle on the performance of dialysis in countercurrent-flow rectangular membrane modules was investigated both theoretically and experimentally. Theoretical analysis of mass transfer in parallel-flow device with and without recycle is analogous to heat transfer in parallel-flow heat exchangers. Experiments were carried out with the use of a microporous membrane to dialyze urea aqueous solution by pure water. In contrast to a device with recycle, improvement in mass transfer is achievable if parallel-flow dialysis is operated in a device of same size with recycle which provides the increase of fluid velocity, resulting in reduction of mass-transfer resistance, especially for rather low feed volume rate.
