Analysis of Flow Characteristic and Suspended Soild Transport at Nakdong River using RAMS and SMS Models (RAMS 및 SMS 모형을 이용한 낙동강 본류 구간의 흐름분석 및 부유사 거동 모의)

  • 본 연구에서는 남구미대교, 왜관낙동강대교가 통과하는 낙동강 본류의 구미, 칠곡구간 9.23km에 대하여 설계홍수량과 평수량에 대한 흐름분석과 공사시 발생가능한 부유사 농도를 산정하여 부유사의 거동에 대해 2차원 유한요소모형인 RAMS와 SMS 모형을 이용하여 모의하였다. 흐름모의를 실시한 결과, RAMS 및 SMS 모형에 의해 산정된 수위 및 유속 결과가 기본계획보고서에서 제시된 수위 및 유속과 유사하게 산정되고 있었으며, 교량 주변의 흐름분포도 RAMS 및 SMS모형의 결과가 유사하게 모의 되고 있음을 확인할 수 있었다. 또한, 공사강도에 따른 발생가능한 부유사 농도를 산정하고 공사가 이루어질 위치 2지점을 가정하여 각각 RAMS 및 SMS모형을 이용하여 부유사 거동을 모의하였다. RAMS 및 SMS 모형에 의한 모의결과, 두 모형 모두 각 지점 하류 100m 부근의 부유사농도가 30~40, 15~20ppm의 범위로 부유사 농도를 보이고 있었다.

  • This paper presents the methods to acquire the Safety Certificate from Independent Safety Assessment based on the IEC or EN standard which is commonly applied to railway system for Automatic Train Protection (ATP) system in accordance with ERTMS/ETCS Level 1 system. This also shows approach methods and relative activities for project lifecycle to accomplish and ensure the system requirements of ATP system, RAMS and system quality activities. These kind of activities for quality assurance of ATP system to obtain Safety Certificate could improve the quality of domestic railway system based on On-Board system of ERTMS/ETCS Level 1 and also contribute to the growth of railway business.

  • In this study, Urban maglev is applied to inductive-loop speed and position detection system for the top-level classification system for the entire system, and performed functional analysis On-board signal equipment, Wayside-signal equipment divided by the reliability, availability, maintainability, and safety through analysis of the proposed formula. RDB and by applying a system service for each device was calculated to availability, safety analysis. The PHA, FMEA, HAZOP over the Top Event of the FTA is performed by presenting the results. This also shows approach methods and relative activities for project to accomplish and ensure the system requirements.

  • 산지하천의 비율이 높은 국내 하천은 주로 만곡도가 높은 사행하천으로 이루어져 있으며, 만곡부가 교호적으로 나타나는 사행하천의 흐름구조는 매우 복잡하다. 산지하천의 특성상 홍수시에는 유속이 매우 빠르게 나타나며 하천의 수위가 상승하게 될 때 만곡부에서의 흐름 회전 방향이 나선형 흐름으로 바뀌어 하류방향으로 주 흐름에 중첩하여 발생하는 이차류로 인해 하도가 불안정해지고 내 외측의 수위차가 발생하는 편수위가 발생하면서 하도 바깥쪽으로 수위가 상승하는 현상이 나타나게 된다. 따라서 집중호우로 인해 하천에서 발생하는 재해는 주로 만곡부를 중심으로 발생하게 된다. 본 연구에서는 이와 같은 만곡부의 외측부에서 발생하는 수위상승으로 인해 제방의 월류 피해와 이차류로 인한 침식피해를 유발하게 되는 문제를 사전에 예측하기 위하여 $90^{\circ}$ 실험하도와 $180^{\circ}$ Sharp 실험하도에 2차원 유한요소 모형인 RAMS 모형을 적용하여 수리특성을 살펴보았으며, 모의 결과에 대한 정확도를 살펴보기 위해 실측자료와 비교 검토하였다. 이와 같은 연구결과는 만곡부에서 발생가능한 제방침식이나 월류로 인한 하천에서의 피해 방지에 크게 기여할 것으로 기대된다.

An Analysis and Numerical Simulation on Southwestern Prevailing Wind Phenomenon around Pohang in Winter (포항지역의 겨울철 남서계열 탁월풍 현상에 관한 분석 및 수치모의)

  • The prevailing wind phenomenon around Pohang in winter was investigated by using surface and vertical observatory datas and a numerical simulation was carried out to analyse this phenomenon using RAMS. Direction of the prevailing wind was westerly at upper atmosphere. However, near the surface, southwestern wind prevailed in winter. Using the RAMS to simulate a winter wind system numerically, it was found out that this phenomenon was strongly affected by the geographical features such as directions of coastline and low level valley, and distributions of land and sea. To investigate the accuracy of the model results, wind speed, temperature and wind direction of typical continuous southwestern wind occurring days were compared with observation data. Analyzing the characteristics of local circulation system was very hard because of horizontally sparse observation data. But from the result above, a numerical simulation using the RAMS, which satisfies the spatial high resolution, will provide more accurate results.

  • This research conducted an the failure analysis was performed based on the failure and operation data for Seven years using the Reliability, Availability, Maintainability, and Safety(RAMS) constructed at the operation stage after the opening of the D urban railway. therefore, the risk priority was selected for failure frequency component within the door system that showed high failure. Finally, the goal was to suggest ways to improve the door system. For this purpose, the analysis of thermal characteristics of failed components such as Door Control Unit(DCU) in the door system based on the Seven-year failure analysis data of RAMS was performed. These results were applied to the main component exchange cycle of the door unit, the mean time between failure(MTBF) and mean kilometer between failure(MKBF) values of RAMS increased by 26% in 2017-2018 when the improvement measures were taken, and the MTBF value of DCU was 300,000 hours, which was a 57% improvement in reliability. The results of this thesis identify potential enhancements in reliability and improvements in maintenance of the door system that, if implemented, would contribute to train safety and reduce instances of failure in the future.

  • In this paper, we design AVTMRWFSV(All Voting Triple Modular Redundancy With Fail-Safe Voter) System with a fail-safe output voter architecture and analyze RAMS(Reliability, Availability, Maintainability, Safety) as system failure rate. This system is compared with AVTMR system for RAMS(Reliability, Availability, Maintainability, Safety) with Markov modeling, and we can see that the system safety of AVTMRWFSV is more profitable than that of AVTMR. The dependability of AVTMRWFSV system is higher than that of AVTMR. Especially, safety is very profitable. So, this kind of system can be applied to embedded communication system and life critical systems - railway, airplane, ship, nuclear control system and so on.

  • This research mainly focuses on the transport and dispersion of chemical agent plume according to the Lagrangian Puff Model and Lagrangian Particle Model of NBC_RAMS(Nuclear, Biological, Chemical Reporting And Modeling S/W System). NBC_RAMS was developed with the purposes of estimating the fate of Chemical, Biological, and Radioactive(CBR) agent plumes and evaluating damages in the Republic of Korea. First, it calculates the local weather pattern, i.e. wind speed, wind direction, and temperature, by considering the effects of land uses and topography. The plume behaviors are calculated by adopting the Lagrangian Puff Model(LPFM) or Lagrangian Particle Model(LPTM). In this research, we assumed a virtual chemical agent exposure event in a stable atmospheric condition during the summer season. The plume behaviors were estimated by both LPFM and LPTM on the used area(urbanized and dry area) and the agricultural land. The higher heat flux in the used area led to stronger winds and further downward movement moving of the chemical agent than the farmland. The lateral dispersion of the chemical plume was emphasized in the Lagrangian Puff Model because it adopted Gaussian distribution.

  • ICT-based on-board oriented train control system has been proposed to improve operation efficiency in low-density railway line. It is also needed to develop a new ICT-based local control center which relates to existing centralized traffic control lines. In order to meet the qualitative target of these developing system, RAMS activities are required. In this paper, through preliminary hazard analysis, hazards and their contributing factors are addressed, then countermeasures are established to control the risk to an acceptable level.

  • We have analysed the observed surface and vertical meteorological data to get atmospheric information over the Busan metropolitan area. For this, we have selected 10 days in all season such as spring, summer I(Jangma season), summer II(hot season), autumn and winter. The result which have performed cluster analysis using atmospheric data represented that these days are included to most frequently appeared synoptic cluster. We have simulated wind field around Busan metropolitan area which is assigned as $1km^2$ using RAMS. The calculated air temperature and the wind speed was similar to the observed the that, and the trends of daily variation showed good agreement. RMSE and IOA also showed reliable value. These results indicated the RAMS is able to simulate and predict detailed atmospheric phenomenon.
