PMIPv6 망에서 MIPv6 호스트의 효율적인 연동 방안에 관한 연구 (A Novel Scheme for Efficient Interworking with MIPv6 Hosts in the PMIPv6 Network)

  • 본 논문에서는 기존의 MIPv6 호스트가 PMIPv6 망에 연결을 설정하게 될 경우 발생하는 문제점에 대해 기술하고 PMIPv6 망에서 MIPv6 호스트를 지원하기 위한 방안을 제안하였다. 제안한 방안은 LMA에 등록하였던 BU과정을 MAG에서 판단하여 MAG에 BCE를 등록하게 하고 PMIPv6 서비스를 이용할 수 있도록 한 MAS 알고리즘이며, MAS 알고리즘에 PMIPv6 서비스 사용 여부를 판단하기 위하여 기존의 RS와 RA에 1비트의 N-플래그를 추가하여 Modified RS와 RA 메시지를 제안하였다. 제안한 알고리즘은 시뮬레이션을 통하여 기존의 방식으로 연결을 설정하였을 경우의 성능과 MAS 알고리즘을 적용하여 MIPv6 호스트와 연결을 설정하였을 경우의 성능을 비교함으로써 평가하였다.

  • A new detector array scheme for the positron camera for tile improved image resolution and a method for the resolution improvement of the undersampled projection data from ring positron camera are proposed. Computer simulation results are presented and problems ana limitations are discussed.

  • 본 논문에서는 단말기가 빈번히 이동함에 따른 등록정보를 지역적으로 분산하여 데이터베이스간 신호 트래픽을 줄이고 수신측 단말기의 위치를 캐슁하여 재사용함으로써 특정 단말기에 대한 통화율이 높을 경우 신속한 호접속을 제공하여 한정된 채널의 블록율을 줄인다.

  • In this paper, the reconstruction of complex permittivity distribution on a rectangular cross section of inhomogeneous dielectric cylinders is performed by employing the spectral inverse scattering scheme. Numerical simulations provide the superresolution to the permittivity profiles nearly regardless of the measurement locations of the scattered field and the permittivity distributions on the cross section.

  • In this paper, we propose three symbol syn-chronization schemes for Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplex (OFDM) systems. The cyclic extension preceding OFDM symbols is of decisive importance for these schemes. The first scheme uses the phase-differential coding of the received OFDM signal. The second and the third schemes use the length of the received OFDM signal. All three schemes make symbol synchronization possible, even though there is a frequency off-set in the system. Simulation results show that these schemes can be used to synchronize an OFDM system over AWGN and multi-path fading channels.

  • This paper proposes a new linear recursive target state estimator for automotive collision warning system. The target motion is modeled in Cartesian coordinate system while the radar measurements such as range, line-of-sight angle and range rate are obtained in polar coordinate system. To solve the problem by nonlinear relation between these two coordinate system, a practical linear filter design scheme employing the predicted line-of-sight Cartesian coordinate system (PLCCS) is proposed. Especially, PLCCS can effectively incorporate range rate measurements into target tracking system. It is known that the utilization of range rate measurements enables the improvement of target tracking performance. Moreover, PLCCS based target tracking system is implemented by linear recursive filter structure and hence is more suitable scheme for the development of reliable collision warning system. The performance of the proposed method is demonstrated by computer simulations.

  • Continuous improvements of network infrastructures and mobile data offloading strategies are among the solutions of cellular providers to cope with the increase in mobile data demand. These options requires a lot of cost and time to implement. Few researches have been conducted to assess the applicability of Pocket Switched Network (PSN) to support mobile data offloading. In this paper, we present a PSN mobile data-offloading scheme that utilizes mobile users with available connectivity to deliver content-aware data to other mobile users. This paper also aims to evaluate the applicability and feasibility of PSN routing schemes to improve the current strategies in mobile data offloading. The simulation results show admirable results in terms of message delivery and latency.

  • 공간영역에서 모멘트방법을 써서 2차원 유전체의 복소 유전율 분포를 재구성 하기 위해 개발된 역산란 방법을 파수영역에서 사용할 수 있도록 개선하였다. 이 역산란 방법은 개념적으로 간단하고, 역산란 문제에 내재한 ill-posedness을 해결할 수 있는 여러 가지 적절한 방안을 강구할 수 있도록 한다.

  • We designed an intelligent intrusion detection scheme that works based on target system's operational states and doesn't depend on humans' analysis. As a prior work, we presents a scheme to describe computer system's operational states. For this, Hidden Markov Model is used. As input to modeling, huge amount of system audit trail including data on events occurred in target system connected to network and target system's resource usage monitoring data is used. We can predict system's future state based on current events' sequence using developed model and determine whether it would be in daniel or not.

  • In this paper, we investigate the mean queue length and the mean packet delay of a dynamic bandwidth allocation(DBA) scheme in an Ethernet passive optical network(EPON). We focus on the interleaved polling system with a gated service discipline. We assume that input packets arrive at an optical network unit(ONU) according to Poisson process. We use a continuous time queueing model in order to find the queue length distribution of the gated interleaved polling system with the first stage input queue and the second stage transmission queue. We give some numerical results to investigate the mean queue lengths and mean packet delays for the symmetric polling system with statistically identical stations.
