국가 연구 개발 프로젝트 실시간 자금 관리 시스템 개발에 관한 연구 (Developing a Real-time Cashflow Management System for National R&D Management)

  • As science and technology infiltrates every aspects of modern society in terms of economic and social growth and development, funding for research and development (R&D) is growing rapidly. Republic of Korea is not an exception in this trend and the R&D funding in Korea has been grown about 10% every year, recently. However, as the scope and size of funding grows exponentially, need for monitoring and managing these R&D projects becoming more and more imminent. Though different types of project management systems were developed by a variety of agencies and departments and used in monitoring and managing, these systems were developed as standalone silo type systems. These systems are not connected to each other while the same researchers may involved in different projects across agencies and department. Also, these management systems are not linked to the banking systems in which real transactions of funding occurs, such as cost reimbursement and financial audit of each R&D accounts. Historically, a few fraud and malappropriation cases were found and indicted. However, as the number of these incidents grows along with the growth of R&D funding, a large scale integration/linking of project management systems and banking systems. Realizing the importance of systems integration among agencies as well as with the banking systems, situational requirements analyses were conducted concerning the current state of R&D management system. As a results, a Real-time Case Management System (RCMS) was proposed as a solution to current problems. In this paper, the collected systems requirements were documents with analyses of the situation, the architecture of the integrated systems with more user-friendly technological alternatives. This large scale linkage requires interface standardization as well as modularization of interfaces. Proposed systems architecture is introduced here with technical details of Jex Framework used,, followed by resulting technical and economic performance of the Realtime Cashflow Management System (RCMS).

  • To meet the requirements of high performance and reliability as a industrial motor drive, we developed an integrated oil-line fault diagnosis and monitoring system which consists of DSP-based controller and PC-based MMI (Man-machine interface) program. The dedicated controller performs real-lime fault detections and protections. The MMI program monitors the on-line fault status of the drive system and offers full explanations of the fault name(WHAT?), deducible causes of the fault operation(WHY?), and chock points (HOW?) based upon the experiences of the expert. Also the TRACE data which was stored just before and after the accident can be scrutinized using MMI tools.

IoT 기반 실시간 냉장컨테이너 상태 모니터링 시스템 (Real-time Reefer Container Monitoring System based on IoT)

  • 본 논문에서는 냉장컨테이너 내부에 부착되어 냉장컨테이너 내부 온도와 습도를 감지하고, 이를 433MHz RF통신을 이용하여 정보를 전송하는 냉장컨테이너 내부 상태 정보 수집 태그와 냉장컨테이너 외부에 부착되어 냉장컨테이너의 동작 상태 수집 및 GPS를 통해 실시간 위치를 확인하고 WCDMA/GSM 통신을 이용하여 정보를 서버로 전달하는 냉장컨테이너 상태 모니터링 장치로 구성된 IoT 기반 실시간 냉장컨테이너 상태 모니터링 시스템을 소개한다. 또한 소개한 모니터링 시스템을 국내에서 출발하여 싱가포르까지 운송되는 참외, 멜론을 가득 실은 냉장컨테이너에 적용하여 운송 중 실제 냉장컨테이너 내부의 온도, 습도가 어떻게 유지되고 있는지를 확인하였다. 확인 결과 냉장컨테이너 설정온도와 달리 냉장컨테이너 내부 위치에 따라 약 $1.7^{\circ}C$ 내외의 온도 차이가 발생하였으며, 습도는 위치에 관계없이 약 97%로 유지되는 것을 확인하였다. 본 논문에서 소개하는 모니터링 시스템을 신선농산물 유통에 적용하면 농산물 운송 중 신선 농산물의 부패가 언제 발생하는지 확인이 가능하여 이를 토대로 부패가 진행되는 환경을 개선한다면 손실률을 최소화 하면서 냉장컨테이너를 이용한 신선 농산물의 운송이 가능해 질 것으로 기대된다.

  • In order to develop a noble Uninterruptible Power Supply(UPS), we designed and manufactured the UPS using the PWM converter and the Resonant DC Link Inverter. This paper describes the power circuits, the key techniques, the control and monitoring unit of the developed UPS. Finally, using the UPS we verified the superiority through the type test.

CORESTA 모니터링 담배의 비교 분석 (Comparative Smoke Analysis of CORESTA Monitoring Cigarettes)

  • This experiment was conducted as a part of Asia collaborative study on purpose of verifying the difference between CM6 and CM7 including 3R4F for reference. It carried out using various analytical categories for example, main stream, sidestream and Av. smoke. Additional analysis such as physical properties, blending ratio, combustibility and general leaf component analysis also implemented in order to investigate the difference. We complied with ISO standard and CORESTA recommended method during analytical operating procedures. In this study, we described that comparative analytical result for CM6 and CM7 known as reference or monitoring cigarettes including 3R4F for reference. All sample cigarettes were conditioned at $22^{\circ}C$, 60% relative humidity for 48 hours. Av. Smoke, MS and SS smoke analysis were performed over five times with two smoking condition, ISO and Health Canada with the exception of Av. smoke analysis. We complied with ISO standard method during analytical operating procedures. And, we conducted additional analysis, such as physical properties, blending ratio, combustibility and leaf component analysis also in order to investigate the difference. In conclusion, we found out some differences between CORESTA monitoring cigarette No. 6 and No 7. The smoke components such as total particulate matters, NFDPM, nicotine and carbon monoxide contents of CM7 were a little lower than CM6. And, these phenomena were the same as not only main stream smoke but also side stream smoke and Av. smoke. This tendency was consistent with ISO and Health Canada smoking condition. Besides, leaf constituents' color of CM7 was darker than CM6. In case of combustibility, it showed short combustion time approximately 30 seconds.

  • An ultra wide band ultra-high frequency (UHF) signal processing module was designed for on-line UHF partial discharge (PD) monitoring systems for gas-insulated switchgears (GIS). Major advantage of the unit is an improved PD detection sensitivity through minimizing the effect of surrounding interference signals. The detection sensitivity of the unit was <-60 dBm that is sufficient to detect UHF PD signals as low as 1 pC. Precise detection of PD occurred in the GIS, due to internal defects, is possible by using the signal processing unit.

  • Marine radioactivity monitoring is critical for taking immediate action in case of unexpected nuclear accidents at nuclear facilities located near coastal areas. Especially when the level of contamination is not predictable, mobile monitoring systems will be useful for wide-area ocean radiation survey and for determination of the level of radioactivity. Here, we used a silicon photomultiplier and a high-efficiency GAGG crystal to fabricate a compact, battery-powered gamma spectroscopy that can be used in an ocean environment. The developed spectroscopy has compact dimensions of 6.5 × 6.5× 8 cm3 and weighs 560 g. We used LoRa, a low-power wireless protocol for communication. Successful data transmission was achieved within 1.4 m water depth. The developed gamma spectroscopy was able to detect radioactivity from a 137Cs point source (3.7 kBq) at a distance of 20 cm in water. Moreover, we demonstrated an unmanned radioactivity monitoring system in a real sea by combining unmanned surface vehicle with the developed gamma spectroscopy. A hidden 137Cs source (3.07 MBq) was detected by the unmanned system at a distance of 3 m. After successfully testing the developed mobile spectroscopy in an ocean environment, we believe that our proposed system will be an effective solution for mobile real-time marine radioactivity monitoring.

  • In this study, we dealt with an analysis and development of measurement systems for tunnel and slope structures under a high velocity. Deterioration of tunnel and slope structures becomes a critical issue in regard to both safety and economic concerns. Deterioration itself is inevitable, but condition assessment technology and nondestructive evaluation techniques could provide solutions to ensure public safety by means of detecting damage before serious and expensive degradation consequences occur. We reviewed the existing monitoring and maintenance systems of slopes and tunnels and more advanced directions, especially for highways under high-speed vehicles.

  • This study presents a R&D performance monitoring system (RDMS) that is applicable for managing nuclear program in KAERI. The prime goal of RDMS is to furnish project manager with reliable and accurate information on status of progress, performance and resource allocation, and attain traceability and visibility of project implementation for effective project management. In this study, the work breakdown structure (WBS) as the governing factor for integration of scope, schedule, resource data was derived, and the above parameters were loaded personal computer. A RDMS is comprised of about 12,000 R&D activities of the 16 goverment-led projects. The Primavera software was used to monitor the progress, evaluate the performance and analyze the resource distribution to activities.
