SIU(8344)를 이용한 전동기 제어장치 연동제어용 HDLC 통신 시스템 개발 (Development of HDLC communication system using SIU(8344) for the group control of motor drives)

  • In order to perform the group control of motor drive systems in such as steel process line, high performance communication system is indispensible. In this paper, we introduce newly developed communication system which is suitable for these group control application. Using HDLC protocol, this system can transfer data to a long distance(up to 1km) at high speed(1Mbps) with reliability and efficiency. The performance of this communication system was proven through the application to the group control of DAEKYOUNG Bar Mill Line.

  • 최근에 광 디스크 기기의 고배속화에 따라서 디스크의 재생 속도는 점차로 증가하고 있다. 이러한 경향에 따라 트랙킹 제어 루프에서 나타나는 디스크의 편심에 의한 외란의 영향은 더욱 커지게 되므로 기존의 선형 제어기만으로는 디스크의 편심량이 큰 경우에 고배속에서 원하는 트랙 추종 성능을 얻을 수가 없다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 문제점을 해결하기 위해서 반복 학습 제어 알고리즘과 드라이브 시스템의 액츄에이터의 주파수 응답 특성을 이용한 새로운 트랙 추종 제어 방법을 제안한다. 또한, 제안된 트랙 추종 제어 시스템의 제어 성능을 실험을 통하여 검증하여 본다.

  • The present study relates to a method of manufacturing 100$\mu\textrm{m}$ thick cover layer for the high density digital versatile disc system (HD-DVD), which uses a high numerical aperture of 0.85 at 405 nm wavelength. Spin coating technique was investigated as means for manufacturing the cover layer within sufficient margins of thickness variation and with good mechanical properties including small radial and tangential tilts. The influence of processing variables such as spinning speed, spinning time, and dispensing position was investigated. The effect of viscosity of UV-curable resin was also investigated.

  • This paper presents development of variable speed generation (VSG) system with energy saving function. The rubber tyred gantry crane (RTGC) requires the power from diesel-engine. Significant fuel savings by reducing the engine speed can be achieved, because all of operation modes except hoisting are required lower power than rated value of engine. When low speed operation output voltage of generator is decrease until acceptable range of motor driver inverters and auxiliary load supplier. According to power demand engine speed is varying from 20 to 60Hz, and voltage is varying between 210Vac and 480Vac. When idle mode or low power operation dc/dc converter operates by constant output voltage control and inverters dc site voltage is compensated by it. This paper proposed 3-phase interleaved boost converter which has the same structure as the commercially available 3-phase inverter and current sharing capability. 400kW interleaved converter is designed and a performance of converter is evaluated through several experiments with a RTGC system. Energy saving VSG system can cut down fuel consumption by 36% and 21.3% at idle and unidirectional load operations.

자동차 연비향상을 위한 복합재료 적용 타당성에 관한 연구 (Study on the Suitability of Composite Materials for Enhancement of Automotive Fuel Economy)

  • 본 논문에서는 KIA K3 (1.6) 가솔린 자동차의 연비(km/liter)식을 동력학적 힘-모멘트 평형 방정식, 구동력 및 에너지 방정식을 구성하고 분석하여 유도하였다. 이를 통해 차량의 속도(V), 자동차 총 중량(M), 타이어-노면의 롤링저항계수($C_r$), 도로 경사각(${\theta}$)과 항력계수($C_d$), 차량의 횡단면적(A)과 같은 공기역학적 매개변수가 자동차의 연비에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 또한 경량금속합금, 섬유강화 플라스틱 복합재료와 같은 대체재료가 기존 자동차의 강재, 주철재를 대체하여 차량의 무게를 줄일 수 있는 가능성 등을 Ashby의 재료지수 방법으로 조사하였다. 본 연구를 통해 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. 고속(100km/h)에서 연비에 가장 큰 영향을 미친 매개변수는 그 크기순으로 자동차의 속도 V와 공기역학적 매개변수인 $C_d$, A, ${\rho}$ 및 동력학적 매개변수인 $C_r$, M의 순서로 조사되었다. 반면에 저속(60 km/h)에서는 동력학적 매개변수로는 V, M, $C_r$의 순서로, 공기역학적 매개변수로는 $C_d$, A, ${\rho}$ 순으로 영향을 미침을 확인하였다.

URI-T, 해저 케이블 매설용 ROV 트렌처 개발 및 실해역 성능 검증 (Development of ROV Trencher URI-T and its Sea Trial)

  • An ROV trencher is a type of heavy-duty work class ROV equipped with high-pressure water jet tools for cutting into the sea floor and burying cables. This kind of trencher is mostly used for PLIB operations. This paper introduces the development of this kind of ROV trencher, which has a 698 kW power system, with a 250 kW hydraulic system and two 224 kW water jet systems. The project was launched in January 2014. After four years of design, manufacturing, and system integration, we carried out two sea trials near the Yeongilman port (about 20-30 m in depth) in Pohang to evaluate the system performance in November 2017 and August 2018. Through tests, we found that most of specifications were satisfied, including a maximum bury depth of 3 m, maximum bury speed of 2 km/h, and maximum forward speed of 1.54 m/s.

유전자 조작 알파 인터페론의 조직분포에 관한 연구 (Study on Tissue Distribution of Recombinant Human Alpha-Interferon)

  • The distribution features of recombinant human $alpha-interferon(rHuIFN-{\alpha}A)$ and $^{14}C-radiolabeled\;rHuIFN-{\alpha}A\;(^{14}C-rHuIFN-{\alpha}A)$ were investigated in ICR mice after i.v. injection. The level of $rHuIFN-{\alpha}A$ in the kidney was significantly higher than those in lung and liver at 10min after the injection. But the level was reduced significantly at 60min. The level of radioactivity in the kidney was also significantly higher than those in other organs after i.v. injection of $^{14}C-rHuIFN-{\alpha}A$, but it was reduced at much slower speed than was $rHuIFN-{\alpha}A$. These results show that interferon is distributed repidly and the kidney is the main site of distribution and metabolism of $rHuIFN-{\alpha}A$.

  • In eddy, current brake system(BS), high current may flow for increase of braking force within a short time. Therefore, the estimation of thermal characteristics for BS is required. In this paper, the thermal characteristics of eddy-current brake for the Korean high speed train are analyzed by using 2-dimensional Finite Element Method (2D-FEM) and measured.

Control of surface defects on plasma-MIG hybrid welds in cryogenic aluminum alloys

  • Lately, high production rate welding processes for Al alloys, which are used as LNG FPSO cargo containment system material, have been developed to overcome the limit of installation and high rework rates. In particular, plasma-metal inert gas (MIG) hybrid (PMH) welding can be used to obtain a higher deposition rate and lower porosity, while facilitating a cleaning effect by preheating and post heating the wire and the base metal. However, an asymmetric undercut and a black-colored deposit are created on the surface of PMH weld in Al alloys. For controlling the surface defect formation, the wire feeding speed and nozzle diameter in the PMH weld was investigated through arc phenomena with high-speed imaging and metallurgical analysis.
