Real-time accessibility and agility are required in u-commerce under ubiquitous computing environment. Most of the existing recommendation techniques adopt the method of evaluation based on personal profile, which has been identified with difficulties in accurately analyzing the customers' level of interest and tendencies, as well as the problems of cost, consequently leaving customers unsatisfied. Researches have been conducted to improve the accuracy of information such as the level of interest and tendencies of the customers. However, the problem lies not in the preconstructed database, but in generating new and diverse profiles that are used for the evaluation of the existing data. Also it is difficult to use the unique recommendation method with hierarchy of each customer who has various characteristics in the existing recommendation techniques. Accordingly, this dissertation used the implicit method without onerous question and answer to the users based on the data from purchasing, unlike the other evaluation techniques. We applied FRAT technique which can analyze the tendency of the various personalization and the exact customer.

Asian Americans experience disproportionate incidence and mortality rates of certain cancers, compared to other racial/ethnic groups. Primary care physicians are a critical source for cancer screening recommendations and play a significant role in increasing cancer screening of their patients. This study assessed primary care physicians' perceptions of cancer risk in Asians and screening recommendation practices. Primary care physicians practicing in New Jersey and New York City (n=100) completed a 30-question survey on medical practice characteristics, Asian patient communication, cancer screening guidelines, and Asian cancer risk. Liver cancer and stomach cancer were perceived as higher cancer risks among Asian Americans than among the general population, and breast and prostate cancer were perceived as lower risks. Physicians are integral public health liaisons who can be both influential and resourceful toward educating Asian Americans about specific cancer awareness and screening information.

Extracting temporal information from documents is becoming more important, because it can be used to various applications such as Question-Answering (QA) systems, Recommendation systems, or Information Retrieval (IR) systems. Most previous studies only focus on English documents, and they are not applicable to the other languages due to the inherent characteristics of languages. In this paper, we propose a new system, named ExoTime, designed to extract temporal information from Korean documents. The ExoTime adopts an external Knowledge Base (KB) in order to achieve better prediction performance, and it also applies a bagging method to the temporal relation prediction. We show that the effectiveness of the proposed approaches by empirical results using Korean TimeBank. The ExoTime system works as a part of ExoBrain that is an artificial intelligent QA system.
The purpose of this study was to research the brain development program of childrens. Information gained from this study may be useful to school teachers who seek educational psychologist who are willing to guide students with potential minds. This study aimed to answer the research question as follows; What educational brain development program and strategegies did the children thinking as having influenced their potential minds. What educational brain development program and strategegies did the teachers thinking as having influenced their potential minds. To investigate the elementary students in kang seo gu bang hwa dong were selected. And the writing mind maps were examined for reports of mind maps. Some of the more salient findings are presented: Most of the elementary school 30 students came from very well mind maps where mind potential mind toward thinking. this study of the elementary school teacher came form well mind maps where mind potential mind toward thinking. The mind maps seemed to have been influenced positively in children brain development. Educational condition and events such as recommendation from mind maps had more effect on thinking than learning experiences had.
Documents contain information that can be used for various applications, such as question answering (QA) system, information retrieval (IR) system, and recommendation system. To use the information, it is necessary to develop a method of extracting such information from the documents written in a form of natural language. There are several kinds of the information (e.g., temporal information, spatial information, semantic role information), where different kinds of information will be extracted with different methods. In this paper, the existing studies about the methods of extracting the temporal information are reported and several related issues are discussed. The issues are about the task boundary of the temporal information extraction, the history of the annotation languages and shared tasks, the research issues, the applications using the temporal information, and evaluation metrics. Although the history of the tasks of temporal information extraction is not long, there have been many studies that tried various methods. This paper gives which approach is known to be the better way of extracting a particular part of the temporal information, and also provides a future research direction.

This study was conducted to construct and test structural equation modeling of the causal relationship of job satisfaction of nursing staff with satisfaction, revisit intention and recommendation of the hospital by patients. The data utilized in this study were the second data acquired from the 2012 Public Hospital Evaluation Programme. The subjects of this study were 2,375 nursing staff and 3,433 patients at 39 district public hospitals. The instrument of job satisfaction of nursing staff consisted of five factors and 13 items. The instruments of satisfaction, revisit intention, and recommendation to others of patients consisted of one question on an 11 point scale (0: very negative, 10: very positive). The data were analyzed using SPSS version 20.0 and AMOS version 20.0. Model fit indices for the hypothetical model were suitable for the recommended level: model of in-patient ${\chi}^2$ 904.598 (df=81, p<0.001), GFI 0.938, AGFI 0.900, RMSR 0.076, mode of out-patient ${\chi}^2$ 869.021(df=81, p<0.001), GFI 0.940, AGFI 0.900, RMSR 0.074. In conclusion, nursing staff are the largest group in public hospitals, and they provide direct care to patients. Therefore, job satisfaction of nursing staff should be enhanced to improve satisfaction of patients because their attitude significantly influences patient satisfaction.

Background Candidate characteristics for hand surgery fellowship training remains unknown, as very little data is available in the literature. This study aims to provide information on the criteria that are employed to select candidates for the hand surgery fellowship match. Methods A 38-question survey was sent in April 2015 to all Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education recognized hand surgery fellowship program directors (n=81) involved in the U.S. match. The survey investigated factors used for the selection of applicants, including medical school, residency training, research experience, fellowship interview, and candidate characteristics. A 5-point Likert scale was used to grade 33 factors from "not at all important" (1) to "essential in making my decision" (5); or for five controversial factors from "very negative impact" (1) to "very positive impact in making my decision" (5). Results A total of 52% (42 out of 81) of responses were received from hand surgery fellowship program directors. The most important influential factors were interactions with faculty during interview and visit ($4.6{\pm}0.6$), interpersonal skills ($4.6{\pm}0.5$), overall interview performance in the selection process ($4.6{\pm}0.6$), professionalism and ethics ($4.6{\pm}0.7$), and letters of recommendation from hand surgeons ($4.5{\pm}0.7$). Factors that have a negative impact on the selection process include visa requirement ($2.1{\pm}1.2$), graduate of non-plastic surgery residency program ($2.4{\pm}1.3$), and graduate of a foreign medical school ($2.4{\pm}1.1$). Conclusions This study provides data on hand surgery fellowship directors' perception on the criteria important for fellowship applicant selection, and showed that interview-related criteria and letters of recommendation are the important factors.
This study aimed at examining participation rate in taking health examinations. abnormal findings. and recognition and responses for re-examination recommendation among junior students at a university. Data were collected by interviews and self-reports between March and April. 2000. five months after receiving findings of health examinations. Question items in the questionnaire were made by the researchers. Participation rate for the health examination was $22.5\%$ of all registered junior students: $25.4\%$ for men and $16.6\%$ for women. College of medicine ranked the first in the participation rate. Of the examinees. $22.8\%$ showed abnormal findings. Of those students with abnormal findings. 149 students who were registered at the time of data collection became the subjects of the present study. The average age of the subjects was 23.7 years. The proportion of those with very good or. good self-evaluated physical health was $24.1\%$. while the proportion for mental health was $55.1\%$. The most prevalent problem for men was liver problem and for women anemia. More than $92\%$ of the subjects were aware of their abnormal findings. Those who sought advice were $71.8\%$ and their parents were most frequently asked for advice. As for the contents. $33.7\%$ were advised to visit a hospital. Of the 65 students recommended for re-examination. $60.9\%$ with liver problems took re-examination. while $37.2\%$ with urine problems. The multiple responses of the reasons for not following the recommendation for re-examination were 'not a serious problem $(63.9\%)$,' 'having no time $(22.2\%)$,' Students' recognition of the importance of health examination should be raised to increase their participation rate. When abnormal findings were detected. parents need to be informed for achieving adequate follow-up. All the students with abnormal findings need to be consulted by university health personnel to facilitate proper actions.
The aim of this study was to categorize and analyze the patterns of the observation type in the experiential learning through the science museum for elementary gifted students in science. Ten science-gifted students were included and analyzed in this study and during experiential learning in the science museum, the participants freely expressed their observation of their own languages and all observations and dialogue were recorded. The results are listed below. The cognitive aspect, especially question and response activity without their personal opinion, was the most frequently used item. Among the affective aspects, item for 'recommendation' was often used. In accordance to observation type, most participants overall observed single object independently of time. Also, participants mostly observed objects visually using qualitative method without manipulation. Therefore verbal interaction through question might have a positive effect on frequency and diversity of observation. Project learning, such as particular exhibition hall, exploratory time of concentration by students, or study paper will be capable of creating a effective observation learning in order to induce a variety of observation of science gifted students in the experiential learning through the science museum.
