Recently, enterprises have focused on quality improvement for delighting their customers. Especially, all business sector have checked, analyzed their consumer complaints in detail on their products and made a plan to reduce them. But there is a limitation not to solve them. This paper presents one of tools to reduce non qualified product on their operation line directly by modernized IT technology after analyzing and making the plan.

An algorithm for the minimum total process percent defective under marginal costs is presented. Initial process is single series system, which is constructed by k process units, and each process is considered priority. Minimum of total process percent defective for parallel-series system exists when additional process setup costs are larger than marginal costs.

Today, the statistical process control (SPC) in manufacture environment is an important role at the process by the productivity improvement of the manufacturing systems. The control chart in this statistical method is widely used as an important statistical tool to find the assignable cause that provoke the change of the process parameters such as the mean of interest or standard deviation. But the traditional SPC don't grasp the change of process according to the points fallen the near control limits because of monitoring the variance of process such as the fixed sampling interval and the sample size and handle the cost of the aspect of these sample point. The control chart can be divided into the statistical and economic design. Generally, the economic design considers the cost that maintains the quality level of process. But it is necessary to consider the cost of the process improvement by the learning effects. This study does the economic design in the VSI $\bar X$ control chart and added the concept of loss function of Taguchi in the cost model. Also, we preyed that the VSI $\bar X$ control chart is better than the FSI $\bar X$ in terms of the economic aspects and proposed the standard of the process improvement using the VSI $\bar X$ control chart.

현재 국내의 정부 R&D 사업은 300여개에 이르고 있고, 이를 사업의 특성별로 16개 국가R&D 관련 부처 청의 15개 대표연구관리전문기관에서 각각 관리하고 있다. 이로 인하여 발생하는 국가 R&D에 대한 중복 투자와 체계적인 R&D연구과제 및 성과관리의 미흡으로 R&D 투자의 효율성에 대한 문제가 계속해서 제기되고 있다. 그러한 가운데 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위하여 교육과학기술부는 국가연구개발의 기획에서 성과활용에 이르기까지 연구개발의 효율화를 지원할 수 있는 국가 R&D 포털시스템으로써 국가과학기술종합정보시스템(NTIS)을 구축하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 NTIS시스템의 인력/과제/성과 정보의 통합 DB 구축 및 연계방식과 이를 통해 수집된 데이터의 품질관리를 위한 데이터 정제 프로세스를 고찰해 본다. 그 과정에서 발생할 수 있는 데이터 품질문제의 요인을 분석하여 NTIS의 데이터 품질향상을 위한 개선방안을 제시한다.

As a competition between a country and a company becomes fierce and the quality information, reliability and quality guarantee of a product are more emphasized, quality has become an important strategic task of a company. A company today has a strategic quality management system for quality improvement in order to perform such a strategic task. The content of this are as follows. Classify the types of quality strategy of our manufacturing companies when the necessity of a strategic quality management increases in order to adapt to a rapidly changing management environment and study the characteristics of a quality management activity factor of quality strategy. The content and meaning of this analysis are summarized as follows. Confirmed qualify management activity in which quality strategy could be used by analyzing the effects by tendency of a quality management activity factor by quality strategy. It was a product/service factor that a quality management activity factor contrasted most clearly by tendency of quality strategy. Also, it can be said that this study set the foundation of quality strategy of our manufacturing company in a methodological way because this can be used in developing the theory and model of quality management and in verifying them by confirming and embodying the main area for successful quality management through comparing and analyzing factors related with main areas of quality management.

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to analyze the score data released by the Korea Institute of Curriculum and Evaluation to find out the problems with the current scoring system provided by the College Scholastic Ability Test and to suggest improvement measures to solve these problems. Methods: We calculated the descriptive statistics of the standard scores using the frequency distribution table of the standard scores and identified the characteristics of the standard scores by expressing the distribution as a graph. Also, we developed an index to evaluate whether each stanine level was stably assigned and calculated the indexes for each area/subject by using the data on the number of examinees for each level. Results: We found that the relationship of conversion from raw scores to integerized standard scores is different depending on the size of the standard deviation of the raw scores, and identified the problem that the raw score information is not fairly reflected in the calculation of the percentile and level as the two raw scores are converted to one standard score. This problem can be solved by calculating the standard score to a decimal point. Conclusion: In this study, as a way to improve the quality of the scores of the current CSAT, the standard score and percentile decimal notation, the specific regulations of the standard score and stanine level calculation method, and the expansion of the open range of the scores were suggested.

This paper study is to identify the effect of quality certification incentives regulations to a firm. The pur purpose of this study is to propose the right way of improvement and policy by conduct research for quality certification incentives regulations, which applied by public procurement service for office furniture. For more accuracy, this study analyze the result of questionnaire, visiting, telephone survey conducted by office furniture manufacturer those are registered in MAS (Multiple Award Schedule System).

This study sets a purpose to realize what top managements in companies think as critical success factors of QM, using CSF(Critical Success Factors) method. The methodology of this study consists of literature research and empirical analysis using data collected from interviewing and questionnaire. Medium and small sized manufacturing companies are the subject of this study. Following CSFs of QM are found. (1)Management philosophy of attaching great importance to customer and customer satisfaction. (2)Creation of atmosphere that attach great importance to technology. (3)Philosophy of honesty and faithfulness. (4)Positive thinking and creation of atmosphere that help with each other. (5)Rearmament of entrepreneur spirit. (6)Need on recognition of partnership between labor and management. (7)Participation and will of top management. (8)Principle of Participation of entire members. (9)Harmony of innovation and continuous improvement. (10)Establishment of overall quality-related system. A Recognition of need on ISO-9000 series.

최근 발생한 건축물 붕괴 및 안전사고 사례의 주요 원인으로 건설용 강재의 품질문제가 꾸준히 제기되고 있다. 이에 따라 건설용 강재에 대한 자재관리, 유통관리, 시공관리를 통한 품질확보 이슈가 주요 문제로 떠오르고 있는 실정이다. 그러나 건설용 강재의 품질관리 방안은 기술적인 생산, 공정관리에 국한되어 있어 최근 발생하는 각종 부적합 철강재 관리에 대한 대안을 제시하지 못하고 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 건설관련 제도정책 측면에서 건설용 강재의 품질개선 방안을 제시하고자 한다. 건설용 강재관련 전문가 심층면담을 통한 제도개선 과제 아이템을 발굴하고, 이를 구조화된 AHP분석을 통해 기대효용성을 고려하여 최우선 중요과제를 도출한다. 또한 응답자를 분류하여 기업과 학계/연구계의 의견을 비교 분석하여 시각차와 시사점, 향후 개선방안에 대한 로드맵을 제시하였다. 본 연구에서 도출된 우선순위 제도개선과제들은 향후 건설용 강재의 품질향상을 위한 정책적 의사결정의 기초자료로 유용하게 사용될 수 있을 것으로 기대한다.

This paper analyzes the difference between theoretical cost of quality and real world cost. Examined are the theoretical cost structure of quality, it's measurement styles, a process based improvement strategy of quality cost, and possible adaptation of decision making concepts in enhancing the cost structure. This study will contribute to the literature in delineating an improvement process of quality cost by adjusting service policy.
