A PROPOSAL OF CONSTRUCTABILITY REVIEW IN THE BASIC DESIGN STEP FOR DESIGN-BUILD PROJECTS

  • The orders of Design-Build Delivery System (DBDS) in a large and public construction project have been increasing. Single Source Responsibility (SSR) for design and construction, which contributes to quality improvement of design and construction, has been performed. The DBDS performs SSR for design and construction, but, it has not maximized effect because of the dissatisfied alternative analysis procedures which are based on constructability evaluation and the information system in the design step. In this research, Constructability Evaluation Factors (CEFs) that must be evaluated, investigated, and reflected in the basic design step for design-build projects. The CEF proposed and the business process of each conductor has been systematized. To propose constructability evaluation factors, first classify drawing information by the constructability evaluation sphere. CEFs must be proposed to evaluate factors according to interference among work items. Second, applicable CEFs must be classified by preference ranking and weight. Third, the values of constructability factors in accordance with building elements and work items, need to be calculated. Finally, the CEFs proposal will support rational decision making, design cost reduction, and quality improvement through the values for constructability of building elements and work items.

병원에서의 간호관리역량 교육요구도 (Educational Need of Nursing Managerial Competency in the Hospitals)

  • Purpose: This study was aimed to investigate educational need of nursing managerial competency in the hospitals. Method: The data were collected from 296 nurses(nurse manager and nurse) who had worked in 9 hospitals using the structured questionnaires. Data was analysed by the SPSS for Windows 12.0 program. Results: Educational needs of the nurse managerial competency development were very high. Most of items in the areas of 'human resource management', 'leadership', 'ethic/ law responsibility' and 'quality improvement' were needed for nurse managerial competency development. Current level of the nurse managerial competency level in practice was lower than education need. However nurses had moderate level ability in the areas of 'ethic/ law responsibility', 'human resource management' and 'nursing information management'. There were significant differences in current level and need of the nurse managerial competency(p=.000). Education needs of the nurse managerial competency were influenced by age, clinical career, position, education level, experience of nurse manager education(p<.05). 5) Education program operations were preferred to 'the theme course', 'lecture', 'external education institution'. Conclusion: Education program of the nursing managerial competency development is urgently needed for nurses who have worked in a hospital.

  • The KOMPSAT-2 was developed by KARI and it was successfully launched from Plesetsk, Russia on 28th July 2006. The Korean government decided the commercialization of the KOMPSAT-2 image data and direct reception services worldwide. SPOT Image, based in Toulouse (France) was selected by KARI through an international open bidding as a foreign company for the KOMPSAT-2 image promotion over the entire world except the territory of Republic of Korea including the North Korea, the United States of America, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, Oman, Yemen, Egypt, Iran, Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon, and Syria. KAI (Korea Aerospace Industry Ltd.) is an engaged Korean company for this area. KARI has responsibility to operate the satellite, data acquisition, archiving for the worldwide commercialization. For the processing and delivery of the KOMPSAT-2 image data to the users of KAI and SPOT Image, KAI has the binding contract with KARI. So KAI has the responsibility for the commercial ground station operation such as user support, data processing, and the data delivery. The KOMPSAT-2 ground station is hosted in KARI, so KARI has developed the concept of KOCUST (KOMPSAT-2 Commercial User Support Team) jointly with KAI to support the data processing and delivery as KOMPSAT-2 developer and satellite operator. The main purpose of the KOCUST is to support the operational activities to provide the data and service quality to satisfy customers. KOCUST will be organized by the members of KARI and KAI together. KARI members will mainly take the role of KOCUST coordination, data processing and user support in a public sector. KAI members are going to take user desk, data validation and delivery et cetera, which are related with users. This paper describes a summarized concepts of KOCUST like organization, dedicated tasks of each part and work flow of daily operation.

21세기 신생아 전문 간호사의 역할과 전망 (The role of the Neonatal Nurse Specialist in 21st Century)

  • The role of the neonatal nurse specialist has been well established over the past decade and now reform in 21st century. Neonatal nurse specialists responsibilities in caring for critically and long-term chronically ill infants and their families are very important. Neonatal nurse specialists have a two fold responsibility in caring for these infants. First, through acquiring advanced practice education in complex neonatal care and diagnostic skills, neonatal nurse specialists meet the physiologic needs of the infant. Second, neonatal nurse specialists provide a more holistic approach to their care through evaluating the family in treatment plans and involving the family in discharge planning for the infant. In some institutions, neonatal nurse specialists are directly involved in institutional and/or home follow-up care and case management also. It is the neonatal nurse specialists responsibility to function collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team in managing critically or chronically ill infants from admission to discharge. The role of the neonatal nurse specialist case manager can be described as one that focuses on individualized care of the infant, while providing continuity of care to both the infant and family. The neonatal nurse specialist's role will vary depending on the neonatal intensive care unit(NICU). Therefore, the multidisciplinary collaborative approach to long-term management of infants in the NICU is extremely important to provide successful transition to home or to long-term rehabilitative care facilities because care for the chronically ill infant is complex and multifaceted. I suggest the role of neonatal nurse specialist in 21st century are as follows. 1. Diagnostic/patient assessment 2. Management of patient health/illness 3. Administering/monitoring therapeutic interventions and regimens 4. Monitoring/ensuring quality of health care practices 5. Organization and work role 6. Helping role 7. Teaching/coaching role 8. Management of rapidly changing situations 9. Consulting role The advanced practice nursing model of care delivered by neonatal nurse specialist's in the NICU incorporates medical and nursing role functions and emphasizes holism, caring, and a health perspective for critically and chronically ill neonates and their families.

산업체 단체급식소의 급식관리실태에 대한 조사연구 (A Study on the Industry Food Service Management Practice in Chonbuk Province)

  • This study was attempted to investigate the current status of industry food service management in Chonbuk province. The survey for the analysis was conducted through the questionaires to dietitian. The following results are to be noted. 1. Only one dietitian was employed regardless of feeding numbers and feeding times, and the average number of cooks comes to 5∼6 persons. Among 51 food service places for the study, 84.3% provided more than two meals a day. Feeding number were 200∼1000 people per one meal (64.7%) and feeding cost amounts to 700∼1000 won per meal per one person. 2. The food preferences and budget were primary considerations in menu planning. The type of menus was a non-selective menu with a seven-day cycle (83.7%). Most of dietitian (94.1%) had control of food purchasing, receiving and checking procedure and prefered placing orders by phone (94.5%) through the purveyors (86.4%). 3. In many food service places (70.5%), the mass food preparation was controlled of cooking method and standardized recipes were not undertaken by management Also, the food quality control such as flavor, texture, appearance and temperature was not fully established in food service system. 4. They used the method of manual dish washing operations (88%) and about 71.4% of them are dependent on boiling method of ultrabiolet light for disinfection of kitchen utensils. 5. The performance rates of dietitian management responsibility showed as nutritional management 100%, working management 72.4%, sanitary management 85.6%, personnel management 64.5% and nutrition education 40.7%, but they did not perform the objective and systematic their own responsibility as specialized dietitian because only few dietitian used basic check list and management tools. In addition, dietitian (21.6%) worked beyond their field. In the result, only 54.9% dietitian have satisfied their own occupation and most of them emphasized on practical working in educational curriculums.

공공건설사업 직할시공제 적용의 문제점 및 효율적 적용 방안 (Efficient Application of Multi-Trade Contract Method to Public Construction Project)

  • 보금자리주택 건설에서 분양가 인하의 하나의 방안으로 직할시공제가 도입되었다. 특정 발주방식을 대규모 공공건설사업에 적용 할 경우 본격적인 적용이전에 해당 발주방식에 대한 각계의 논의를 수렴하고 해당 발주방식이 사업성과에 미치는 영향을 다각도로 분석할 필요가 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 공공건설사업에의 직할시공제 적용에 따른 공사비, 공사기간, 품질, 리스크 등 사업성과에 미치는 영향을 전문가 면담과 해외사례 조사를 통해 분석하고, 이러한 문제점들을 해결하고 공공건설사업에의 직할시공제의 효율적 적용을 위한 방안을 제시하였다. 먼저 직할시공제하에서는 발주자의 업무가 대폭적으로 증가하므로 해당 공공발주자 조직에서 증가된 업무 수행이 가능한지를 점검해야 하고, 이에 따른 발주자 조직과 업무절차의 변화가 필요하다. 아울러 직할시공제의 효율적 적용을 위해 다중시공기반 CM방식 등 다양한 수행방식을 적용 할 필요가 있으며, 공사관리 절차 및 시스템 구축, 협력업체 강화 등이 필요하다.

철도공사의 사회적 책임이 고객신뢰와 충성도에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Effects of KORAIL's CSR on Customers' Reliability and Loyalty)

  • 소비자의 구매행동이 기업에 의해 제공되는 서비스 품질뿐 아니라 기업의 사회적 책임에도 영향을 받는다고 보고되며, 사회적 책임 활동은 효율적, 전략적 업무 수행에 필요한 기업의 핵심 요인으로 인식되고 있다. 본 연구는 지금까지 사기업을 중심으로 연구된 사회적 책임 요인을 공기업인 철도공사에 적용함으로써 철도이용자의 행동에 어떤 영향을 미치는지 파악하기 위해 이루어졌다. 철도이용자를 대상으로 설문조사를 실시한 결과, 철도공사의 경제적, 법적 책임 활동이 철도공사의 신뢰에 유의한 영향을 미치며, 신뢰는 철도공사에 대한 고객 충성도에 유의한 긍정적 효과를 미치는 것을 검증했다. 본 연구를 통해 철도공사는 법적 책임 활동과 경제적 책임 활동을 수행함으로써 고객 신뢰를 확보해야 함을 확인 할 수 있었으며, 또한 철도이용자들에게 고객 충성도를 유발시키기 위해 전략으로 준법경영프로그램의 도입, 열차안전관리 정보 제공, 지역 산업과의 연계를 통한 맞춤형 관광 상품의 개발, 커뮤니케이션 전략을 이행할 것을 제안하였다.

롯데마트:사회적 책임구현과 윤리경영의 실천 (Lotte Mart: A Best Practice in Social Responsibility and Ethics Management)

  • 이 사례에서는 유통업에서의 사회적 책임과 윤리경영의 중요성을 일찍이 부터 인식하여 앞선 비전과 안목으로 이를 실천해 온 롯데마트가 그동안 사회적 책임과 윤리경영을 어떤 체계와 내용으로 실천해왔는지, 그리고 그 성과는 무엇이며 우리에게 어떤 시사점을 주고 있는지 정리하고 있다. 롯데마트는 경영목표(vision)에서 인간존중, 친환경, 바른 경영, 서로 돕고 더불어 커가는 문화를 명시함으로서 윤리경영을 기업경영의 핵심 가치로 설정하고 있으며, 경영개선팀을 중심으로 이를 추진하고 있다. 롯데마트 윤리경영은 고객, 주주, 임직원, 협력회사 그리고 국가/사회의 이해관계집단별로 다양한 실천프로그램을 마련하여 운영하고 있다. 롯데마트는 이처럼 사회적 책임과 윤리경영을 전략적으로 접근하여 다양한 윤리경영의 틀과 실천프로그램을 통해 이를 핵심역량으로 키워냄으로서 협력업체와의 좋은 관계를 통한 상품경쟁력 향상, 임직원의 자부심제고를 통한 업무효율 제고, 그리고 고객만족과 신뢰획득을 통한 고객충성도 상승을 일구어냈고, 그 결과 국가고객만족도의 순위상승과 매출증가로 이어지는 성과를 거두었다.

도시공원관리 거버넌스 구축정도에 따른 이용자 만족도 차이 - 영국 셰필드 지구공원을 대상으로 - (Differential Levels of Governance and Its Impact on Urban Park Management and Users' Satisfaction - The Case of Sheffield District Parks, UK -)

  • 1980년대 후반 녹지 및 공원경영 관련 예산삭감과 의무경쟁입찰제도(Compulsory Competitive Tendering: CCT)는 영국 도시공원의 질을 저하시키는 원인이 되었다. 1999년 도시 전담 조직(Urban Task Force, 1999), 2001년 도시공원포럼(Urban Park Forum, 2001)에 의한 공공공원평가(Public Parks Assessment)는 공원의 가치와 훼손에 대한 심각성을 경고하였고, 영국의 신노동당(The New Labour Government, 1997-2010) 그리고 보수정부(The Conservative Government 2010-2019 현재)는 부족한 공원녹지 예산문제와 공원의 질적하락 문제에 대해 커뮤니티 참여를 통해 극복하고자 하였다. 이에 따라 커뮤니티 단체 그중에서도 프렌즈 그룹과 같은 비영리 봉사단체의 공원 관리 참여 및 그 역할은 확대되었다. 그러나, 실제 이와 같은 커뮤니티 주도형 거버넌스가, 특히 거버넌스의 구축 차이에 따른 공원의 질적 향상이나 이용자만족도 제고에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지에 대한 연구에 대한 고찰은 거의 이루어지지 않았다. 이에 본 연구에서는 영국의 커뮤니티 주도형 거버넌스를 통한 공원 관리의 흐름을 고찰하였으며, 거버넌스 구축단계를 구분하고자 하였다. 또한, 사회경제적으로 불리한 지역의 영국 셰필드 2개 공원을 대상으로 이용자 설문 조사를 시행하였다. 그 결과, 영국 도시공원 관리에서의 커뮤니티 참여는 의사결정 참여를 통한 거버넌스 운영 관리 구조로 발전되었으며, 일반적, 적극적, 지배적 거버넌스형 단계로 구분할 수 있었다. 또한, 커뮤니티의 의사결정 참여의 단계에 따라 다른 수준의 책임공유가 수반됨을 알 수 있었다. 설문지 분석 결과, 거버넌스 구축단계에 따라 이용자의 공원 관리 만족도에서 차이를 나타냈다. 의사결정 참여 기회를 가지는 책임공유를 수반하는 적극적 거버넌스 구축 공원에서 이용자 만족도에 더욱 긍정적으로 작용하고 있음을 알 수 있었다. 지속적인 커뮤니티의 의사결정 참여를 통한 적극적 거버넌스 구조의 공원관리에 대한 책임공유를 바탕으로하는 파트너십, 특히 비공공 부문, 비영리 사회적 전문그룹 주도의 공원 운영 관리 방식이 도입되어야 함을 제시할 수 있다.

Study on the Influence of Stakeholders in Construction Projects

  • The interactions and interrelationships between stakeholders largely determine the overall performance of a construction project, and have the crucial responsibility for delivering a project to successful completion. An important component of stakeholder management is stakeholder analysis. Two case studies are conducted within Kerala (India). The main objective was to carry out stakeholder analysis using stakeholder organiser deluxe software, considering the data's collected from the project execution team using questionnaire. During data collection the key stakeholders were identified, to know how to manage them, their interest, power, attitude level etc, for quality improvement. Analyze the results using the software Stakeholder organizer deluxe and modeling of stakeholders is to be done. Finally validate the models of the projects. These findings may mainly reflect the stakeholder management environment in the respective regions of project implementation.
