본 연구의 목적은 대학생이 계절별로 선호하는 셔츠와 블라우스용 소재의 색상을 분석하고 이의 계절에 따른 차이를 비교하며, 셔츠와 블라우스용 선호소재의 색상을 비교하기 위한 것이다. 조사대상은 남녀학생의 109명으로, 1차 연구에서 조사된 각 계절별 선호직물 10종을 시료로 선정하고 색차계(Color Quest Sphere II)를 이용하여 Spectral Data와 Color Plot, Master Color Data, Trend Plot등의 색상자료를 측정하였다. (중략)

We may be given a set of observations with the classes or clusters. The aim of this article is to provide an up-to-date review of different approaches to classification, compare their performance on a wide range of challenging data-sets. In this paper, machine learning algorithm classifiers based on CART, C4.5, CAL5, FACT, QUEST and statistical discriminant analysis are compared on various datasets in classification error rate and algorithms.

Variable selection in oriental medical research is considered. Decision tree analysis algorithms such as CHAID, CART, C4.5 and QUEST have been successfully applied to a medical research. Paralysis disease is a highly dangerous and murderous disease which accompanied with a great deal of severe physical handicap. In this paper, we explore the use of CHAID algorithm for selecting variables for evidence-diagnosis of paralysis, disease. Empirical results comparing our proposed method to the method using Wilks $\lambda$ given.

본 논문에서는 환경교육용 3D 가상체험 소프트웨어를 설계하여 도시화, 국토개발 등으로 인해 변해가는 자연환경을 3D MAX 와 QUEST 프로그램을 통해 옛 조선시대의 주거 및 자연환경을 가상현실로 재현한다. 본 논문에서 설계된 3D 가상체험 소프트웨어의 설계를 통하여 우리의 주거 및 자연환경 보호를 실천할 수 있도록 도움을 주는 데에 그 목적이 있다.

The concept of six sigma was introduced at and popularized by Motorola in its quest to reduce defects of manufactured electronics products. When used as a metric, six sigma technically means having no more than 3.4 defects per million opportunities in any process, product, or service. More important than the technical definition is the concept of six sigma as a disciplined, quantitative approach for improvement of defined metrics in manufacturing, service, or financial processes. This approach derives the overall process of selecting the right projects based on their potential to improve performance metrics and selecting and training the right people to get the business results.

The current status of the development of commercial products for the biological control of plant-parasitic nematodes is discussed. an example is given of problems encountered by our program in patenting biocontrol agents in the United Stats. Two hypothetical approaches to the control of plant nematodes are considered. First recent experimental results relating to the theory on intervention with host-finding by plant nematodes are reviewed. Second, a newer hypothesis considering the possibilities for genetic approaches to modifying molecular signals between nematodes and their parasites is described.

The chiral stationary phase derived from (＋) (18-crown-6)-2.3, 11.12-tetracarboxylic acid (18-C-6- TA) as a chiral selector has been employed for resolution of several $\alpha$-amino acids in HPLC. In a quest for the origin of chiral recognition of $\alpha$-amino acids in the presence of 18-C-6- T, A, as a chiral selector, these interactions responsible for the differential affinities shown toward enantioners were investigated by NNR spectroscopy. Inhibition of the protein-modifying enzyme farnesyltransferase is considered as a major emerging strategy in cancer therapy because of the involvement of farnesylated proteins in oncogensis. We studied the structure-activity relationship of a novel class of CAAX-peptidomimetic farnesyltransferase inhibitors based on the benzophenone scaffold. FlexX docking of inhibitors confirmed reasonable fit of the molecule into the peptide binding site of farnesyltransferase. We also performed a virtual screening with LeadQuest chemical library databases to idenfity novel inhibitors of farnesyltransferase. (omitted)

Adequate available soil moisture level is considered to be one the most important components in growing high yields of good quality ginseng. Excessive soil moisture may promote stillborn fungal pathogens and cause serious diseases in ginseng fields. This study showed that soil moisture levels for optimum growth and health of ginseng varied with soil texture. Fifty- percent available moisture for sandy loam and 75% for silty loam are the best moisture levels for good growth and higher yield.
