A multi-code biorthogonal code keying (MBCK) system consists of multiple waveform coding blocks, and the sum of output codewords is transmitted. Drawback of MBCK is that it requires amplifier with high linearity because its output symbol is multi-level. MBCK with constant amplitude precoding block (CA-MBCK) has been proposed, which guarantees sum of orthogonal codes to have constant amplitude. The precoding block in CA-MBCK is a redundant waveform coder whose input bits are generated by processing the information bits. Redundant bits of constant amplitude coded CA-MBCK are not only used to make constant amplitude signal but also used to improve the BER performance at the receiver. In this paper, we proposed a transmission scheme which combines CA-MBCK with $Q^2PSK$ modulation to improve bandwidth efficiency of CA-MBCK and also uses chip interleaving to maintain a constant amplitude feature of CA-MBCK. bandwidth efficiency of a proposed transmission scheme is increased fourfold. And the BER performance of the scheme is same as that of CA-MBCK.

Let $q=p^{e1}_1{\cdots}p^{em}_m$ be the product of distinct prime elements. In this short paper, we show that the largest value of M such that there exists an ($n$, M, $n-1$) $q$-ary code is $q^2$ if $n-1{\leq}p^{ei}_i$ for all $i$.

본 논문에서는 레일리 페이딩(Rayleigh fading) 채널에서 부호 심볼 크기가 Q인 리드-솔로몬(Reed-Solomon) 부호와 M-ary FSK ($M{\leq}Q$) 변조를 사용하는 주파수 도약 다중 접속(frequency-hopped multiple-access) 통신 시스템을 고려한다. 단위 시간과 단위 대역폭당 성공적으로 전송되는 평균 정보 비트의 수로 정의되는 정규화 처리량 (normalized throughput)을 최대로 하는 변조 심볼 크기(M), 주파수 슬롯 갯수, 부호율(code rate) 사이의 tradeoff를 조사한다. 잡음 제한 환경(noise-limited environment)에서는 큰 M을 사용하는 것이 정규화 처리량을 증가시키고, 간섭 제한 환경(interference-limited environment)에서는 오류 정정 기술을 사용하여 오류를 정정하거나 M을 증가 시켜 오류율을 줄이는 것 보다는 주파수 슬롯의 갯수를 증가시켜 충돌(hit)에 의한 오류를 방지하는 것이 정규화 처리량을 증가시킨다.

The parity of cyclotomic numbers of order 2, 4 and 6 associated with 4-cyclotomic cosets modulo an odd prime p are obtained. Hence the explicit expressions of primitive idempotents of minimal cyclic codes of length $p^n$, $n{\geq}1$ over the quaternary field $F_4$ are obtained. These codes are observed to be subcodes of Q codes of length $p^n$. Some orthogonal properties of these subcodes are discussed. The minimal cyclic codes of length 17 and 43 are also discussed and it is observed that the minimal cyclic codes of length 17 are two weight codes. Further, it is shown that a Q code of prime length is always cyclotomic like a binary duadic code and it seems that there are infinitely many prime lengths for which cyclotomic Q codes of order 6 exist.

Hamada ([8]) and Maruta ([17]) proved the minimum length $n_3(6,\;d)=g_3(6,\;d)+1$ for some ternary codes. In this paper we consider such minimum length problem for $q{\geq}4$, and we prove that $n_q(6,\;d)=g_q(6,\;d)+1$ for $d=q^5-q^3-q^2-2q+e$, $1{\leq}e{\leq}q$. Combining this result with Theorem A in [4], we have $n_q(6,\;d)=g-q(6,\;d)+1$ for $q^5-q^3-q^2-2q+1{\leq}d{\leq}q^5-q^3-q^2$ with $q{\geq}4$. Note that $n_q(6,\;d)=g_q(6,\;d)$ for $q^5-q^3-q^2+1{\leq}d{\leq}q^5$ by Theorem 1.2.

In this paper, we prove that for all odd prime powers $q$ there exist MDS(maximum distance separable) self-dual codes over $\mathbb{F}_{q^2}$ for all even lengths up to $q+1$. Additionally, we prove that there exist MDS self-dual codes of length four over $\mathbb{F}_q$ for all $q$ > 2, $q{\neq}5$.

본 연구는 국제특허분류(IPC) 코드 기반의 특허 기술내용 분류를 통해 관련 기업과 기술의 특허 정보 분석에 관한 연구로 국내 최대 인터넷 기업인 네이버주식회사의 전자상거래(G06Q) 분야 출원 902건을 대상으로 하였다. 먼저 IPC 코드별 출원 및 등록건수를 조사하여 핵심 기술 분야와 특허 출원 현황을 분석하였다. 또한 IPC 코드의 주분류-부분류 상호 연결성을 조사하여 기술 융복합을 조사하였다. 마지막으로 연도별 IPC 코드별 출원 현황을 조사하여 특허 기술 변화를 살펴보았다. 본 연구에서 활용한 IPC 코드 기반 특허 정보 분석을 통해 기업과 기술의 트렌드를 보다 심층적으로 예측할 수 있다.

본 논문은 광원 라인폭이 spectral amplitude coding (SAC) OCDMA 시스템에 미치는 영향을 구하였다. q와 m값에 따라 다양한 코드를 구현할 수 있으므로 symmetric balance incomplete block design(BIBD) 코드를 분석에 사용하였다. 그 결과 입력파워가 큰 경우 ($P_{sr}=-10dBm$) 이상적인 BIBD 코드가 비이상적인 BIBD 코드보다 더 좁은 광원 라인폭이 요구되었다. 그러나 입력파워가 작은 경우 ($P_{sr}=-25dBm$)에는 그 반대로 비이상적인 BIBD 코드가 이상적인 BIBD 코드보다 더 좁은 광원 라인폭이 필요했다.

In this paper, quantization and inverse quantizatio unit, a sa component of MPEG-2 moving picture compression system, ar edesigned. In the processing of quantization, this design adopted newly designed arithmetic units in which quantization matrices and scale code was expressed with SD(signed-digit) code. In the arithmetic unit of inverse quantization, quantization scale code, which has 5-bits length, is splited into two pieces; 2-bits for control code, 3-bits for quantization data, and the method to devise quantization step size is proposed. The design was coded with VHDL and synthesis results in that it consumed about 6,110 gates, and operating speed is 52MHz.

본 논문에서는 DS/CDMA 방식을 채택하는 Q-CDMA 시스템 역방향링크 송수신 모뎀에서 기지국 수신기의 구조 해석과 성능분석에 초점을 두고 시뮬레이션을 수행하였다. 수신기 알고리즘은 열악한 이동통신 채널환경하에서 신뢰성있는 데이터전송을 위하여 많은 데이터를 고속으로 처리해야 하는 특징이 있다. Q-CDMA 방식의 적용에 따른 코드획득회로, 코드추적회로, 그리고 다경로에 따른 시간 다이버시티를 이용한 레이크 시스템을 이용한 복조회로를 연결시켜 동작하도록 하였다. 각 블럭별 회로의 모델에 따른 해석을 하고 AWAGN환경과 다경로 페이딩 환경하에서 임의의 한 사용자에 대한 비트에러 확률을 구한다.
