First, the precedence of the number of traffic safety signs installation for the number of traffic accident is follows. The number of traffic safety signs[total number] (time precedent 1), the number of traffic safety signs[attention] (time precedent 7), the number of traffic safety signs[regulation] (time precedent 7), the number of traffic safety signs[indication] (time precedent 4) precede the number of traffic accidents as negative(-) relationship. Second, the number of traffic signal equipments[pedestrian lamp] (time precedent 2) precedes the number of traffic accidents as negative(-) relationship. Third, the precedence of the increase/decrease rate of traffic safety facilities installation for the increase/decrease rate of traffic accident is follows. The increase/decrease rate of traffic safety signs[total number] (time precedent 1), the increase/decrease rate of traffic safety signs[attention] (time precedent 1), the increase/decrease rate of traffic safety signs[indication] (time precedent 1), the increase/decrease rate of traffic safety signs[auxiliary] (time precedent 1) precede the increase/decrease rate of traffic accidents as negative(-) relationship. Fourth, the increase/decrease rate of traffic signal equipments[pedestrian lamp] (time precedent 0) accompanies the increase/decrease rate of traffic accidents as positive (+) relationship.

  • The purpose of this paper is to identify the CPU temperatures on traffic processing between two servers system. To test this model, this research applies multi-generator and resource reservation protocol that produce various types of traffics. The empirical results indicate that $56^{\circ}C\mp9^{\circ}C$ of CPU temperature is suitable when 250-300 traffics with 10-15kb per a packet are supplied. And also, no jitter delay time is showed in these cases.

  • For the purpose of objective and scientific inspection, traffic accidents should be appraised and inspected by righteous material evidences, computer simulation, and studies such as automobile engineering, traveling and collision accident dynamics, road and traffic engineering. In this paper, it displays the results of studying cases with the reasons of traffic accidents by analyzing and studying automobile kinetics, real traffic accidents and the results of in scientific and objective ways. In this paper, it is proved that with compared by dry and wet road surface condition, the transient brake time of wet condition is longer than dry road condition. Moreover, compared with unpacked road condition and packed road condition. unpacked road condition is shorter than packed road condition using computer simulation.

  • The purpose of this study is to develop an accident hazard index model in order to be used for the evaluation of regional traffic safety and to develop a driver violation index model in order to identify the primary causes of traffic accidents. The accident hazard index model was developed considering the accident rates based on population and the vehicle registration. The driver violation index model was developed considering the accident rates of each item of driver violation. Using the models developed in this study, it is identified that in the provincial level analysis the degree of the traffic safety of Chungbuk, Chungnam, and Kyungbuk Province are evaluated to be low. In the county level analysis of Kyungnam Province, the degree of the traffic safety of Yangsan, Euirung, Haman, Sachun and Tongyung County are evaluated to be low. Also, it is found that the major driver violations causing accidents in the nation are driving by unlicensed drives, improper passing, and improper railroad crossing : in Kyungnam Province, improper passing is the most driver violation.

  • This study deals with the relation between traffic accident and urban decline. The purpose of this study is to develop the regional accident models of elderly drivers. In order to develop the count data models, 2009-2015 traffic accident data from TAAS(traffic accident analysis system) and urban decline data from urban regeneration information system are collected. The main results are as follows. First, the null hypothesis that there is no difference in the accident number between elderly and non-elderly drivers is rejected. Second, 8 accident models which are all statistically significant have been developed. Finally, common variables between elderly and non-elderly are ratio of elderly people, elderly person living alone/1,000 persons and wholesale/retail employments/1,000 persons. This study could be expected to give many implications to making regional accident reduction policy.

  • An air traffic control organization will require knowledge management to keep competitive advantage. A traffic controllers are forced to share their tacit as well as explicit knowledge among their organization to get aircraft's safety and efficient operation. The purpose of this study is to examine which factors influence the air traffic controllers' intention of sharing knowledge for the case of Civil Aviation Safety Authority, Ministry of Construction and Transportation. An ANOVA analysis shows that a difference exists between ages in terms of open mindedness towards sharing knowledge, the search for new knowledge and the recognition of the importance of sharing knowledge.

  • A magnetically levitated vehicle (Maglev) system is under commercialization as a new transportation system in Korea. The Maglev is operated by an unmanned automatic control system. Therefore, the plan of train operation should be carefully established and validated in advance. In general, when making a train operation plan, statistically predicted traffic data is used. However, a traffic wave often occurs in real train service, and demand-driven simulation technology is required to review a train operation plan and service quality considering traffic waves. We propose a method and model to simulate Maglev operation considering continuous demand changes. For this purpose, we employed a discrete event model that is suitable for modeling the behavior of railway passenger transportation. We modeled the system hierarchically using discrete event system specification (DEVS) formalism. In addition, through implementation and an experiment using the DEVSim++ simulation environment, we tested the feasibility of the proposed model. Our experimental results also verified that our demand-driven simulation technology can be used for a priori review of train operation plans and strategies.

  • Railway accidents/incidents occur because of many reasons. Human error by the railway staff or personnel takes a major part of those reasons. In order to reduce and prevent railway accidents/incidents, appropriate measures should be developed to remove root causes induced in human error. A systematic study for analysing causes of human errors and for developing an effective management is necessary. Detailed analysis of the railway traffic signaller's tasks should be preferentially performed for this purpose. This paper introduces the results of analysis for the types and characteristics of the railway traffic signaller's tasks. As a result of the analysis, the railway traffic signaller's tasks can be decomposed into 24 tasks in total, and also be divided into the general task and the emergency task. The railway traffic signaller's tasks are characterized to require continual confirmation and observation activities, and sometimes immediate decision and action.

  • Human Engineering is the new science that studies tile function and the characteristic of human. It is purpose to design machine equipments for him to be able to manipulate those, exactly, safely and easily. This study will introduce that new science in traffic problems and will be done as follows. 1. The Presentation of Problems: 2. Human Engineering and Accurrence process of traffic accidents. 3. Human Engineering and aptitude analysis 4. Conclusion In this paper, driver is not the man who drives a car, is the man who is able to adapt himself to road, and traffic environment. There is a limitation in Human faculty, especially, in the power of attention. Therefore, this paper will be studied to show that it is seeking the ability needed by traffic analysis as well as getting ability of aptitude to attribute to prevention of traffic accidents.
