Macronutrients ($Na^+$, $K^+$, $Ca^{2+}$, $Mg^{2+}$), yield and yield components, bioaccumulation and translocation of metal in plant parts of three Vigna species (V. cylindrica, V. mungo, V. radiata) were evaluated at 0, 50, 100 and $150mgkg^{-1}$ soil of Nickel (Ni). A marked inhibition (p < 0.001) in the distribution of various macronutrients was noticed in these Vigna species except for $Mg^{2+}$ content of the shoot and leaves. Similarly, all species retained more $Ca^{2+}$ in their roots (p < 0.05) as compared to the aerial tissues. Ni induced a drastic decline (p < 0.001) for various yield and yield attributes except for 100 seed weight. Toxicity and accumulation of Ni in plant tissues considerably increased in a concentration dependent manner. Vigna species signify an exclusion approach for Ni tolerance as both bioaccumulation factor (BF) and translocation factor (TF) were less than 1.0. The Ni content of plants being root > shoot > leaves > seeds. Scoring for percentage stimulation and inhibition (respective to control) at varying levels of Ni revealed tolerance of the species in an order of V. radiata > V. cylindrica > V. mungo. The acquisition of Ni tolerance in V. radiata seems to occur through an integrated mechanism of metal tolerance that includes sustainable macronutrients uptake, stronger roots due to greater deposition of $Ca^{2+}$in the roots, restricted transfer of Ni to above ground tissues and seeds as well as exclusion capacity of the roots to bind appreciable amount of metal to them. Thus, metal tolerant potential of V. radiata could be of great significance to remediate metal contaminated soil owing lesser impact of Ni on macro-nutrients, hence the yield.

In this study, effect of nitrogen volume in the shielding gas of Ar-$N_2$ mixing gas on the bead shape, hardness and microstructure of GTA welds of 3mm thick Commercial Pure Ti was investigated. As the nitrogen volume increased, the welding current for full penetration was reduced and hardness in the fusion zone significantly increased compared with that of the base metal, but there is no difference in the hardness of HAZ. Microstructure in the fusion zone with pure Ar gas changed from equiaxed alpha of the base metal to serrated alpha. On the other hand, microstructure using Ar-$N_2$ mixing gas changed to acicular alpha. With the increasing of nitrogen content, the amount of acicular alpha increased and the size of that was fine.
The purpose of the present study is to investigate the method decreasing debinding time as well as lowering operation condition than pure supercritical $CO_2$ debinding by using cosolvent or binary mixture of propane + $CO_2$. First method is to add cosolvent, such as n-hexane, DCM, methanol, 1-butanol, in supercritical $CO_2$. In case of adding cosolvent, we were found the addition of non-polar cosolvent (n-hexane) improves dramatically the binder removal rate (more than 2 times) compared with pure supercritical $CO_2$ debinding, second method is to use mixture of supercritical propane + $CO_2$, as solvent. In case of using mixture of supercritical propane + $CO_2$, the rate of debinding speeded up with increasing of pressure and concentration of propane at 348.15 K. It was found that addition of cosolvent (e.g., n-hexane, DCM) and binary mixture propane + $CO_2$ for supercritical solvent remarkably improved binder removal rate for the paraffin wax-based binder system, in comparison with using pure supercritical $CO_2$.

When the steel containing Si is oxidated in hi temperature, Re2O3, Red scale is made on the metal side as the spike phase, and this scale invasion into matrix. Therefore, it affects the feature, after rolling. It is reported that the role of Si is FeO/Fe2SiO4 eutectic compound, but Si can not affect pure iron independently. There must be Ni, then the spike phase can exist. Prominence and depression made by Ni that is necessity at the process to work iron. Therefore, in this study after the change of the amount of Ni in pure iron and steel and oxidation, the structure of the oxide and the surface, and the distribution of the elements were considered. In conclusion, at 100$0^{\circ}C$, 110$0^{\circ}C$, 120$0^{\circ}C$ the curves of oxidation weight are all S curves. Especially, in the beginning of oxidation as the amount of Ni increase, the amount of oxidation also increase. Practical steel has less oxidation than pure steel added Ni. There is much FeO in Fe-Ni alloy, compare to practical steel which has much Fe3O4. Especially, we could know considerable Ni was concentrated on the metal side in Fe-Ni alloy, practical steel. and the surface of the scale.

Zirconium has excellent mechanical strength and high heat resistance and excellent corrosion resistance, and it is very important to study zirconium's dissimilar welding properties since it can be used in various applications under harsh environments. Similar welding of pure zirconium and dissimilar metal welding of pure zirconium and pure titanium were performed by TIG welding, and the welding properties were studied in association with microstructural and mechanical properties. In the Zr/Zr welded specimen, sound FZ and HAZ regions showed a basketweave microstructure composed of plate α phase. FZ region of Zr/Ti dissimilar welded specimen exhibited a maximum hardness value of 354.8 Hv, which is about three times higher than that of Ti base metal, due to the precipitation of very fine metastable ω and α phases in the beta matrix. In addition, due to the microstructural continuity in the FZ and HAZ regions, excellent elongation property of 21% was exhibited.
This paper investigates the vibration phenomenon of a nanobeam subjected to a time-dependent heat flux. Material properties of the nanobeam are assumed to be graded in the thickness direction according to a novel exponential distribution law in terms of the volume fractions of the metal and ceramic constituents. The upper surface of the functionally graded (FG) nanobeam is pure ceramic whereas the lower surface is pure metal. A nonlocal generalized thermoelasticity theory with dual-phase-lag (DPL) model is used to solve this problem. The theories of coupled thermoelasticity, generalized thermoelasticity with one relaxation time, and without energy dissipation can extracted as limited and special cases of the present model. An analytical technique based on Laplace transform is used to calculate the variation of deflection and temperature. The inverse of Laplace transforms are computed numerically using Fourier expansion techniques. The effects of the phase-lags (PLs), nonlocal parameter and the angular frequency of oscillation of the heat flux on the lateral vibration, the temperature, and the axial displacement of the nanobeam are studied.
Creep behavior of Ti had been studied in a stress from 9.8 to 29.4 MPa and temperature rang from 873K to 973K with a special reference to tertiary creep. It was found that stress exponent of Ti was larger than that of the general pure metal and the compound metal. The relationship between true strain and strain rate in tertiary creep was appeared as the equation, $ln{\dot{e}}$ = $ln{\dot{e}}_{0}$ + ${\Omega}$ e Also, Apparent activation energy of was appeared as 274.92kJ/mol by using the equation ${\dot{\varepsilon}}_{0}$ = A ${\sigma }_{0}^{\ast_0}$ exp$(-Q_{0}/RT)$
An element of Pure Weld Metal(PWM) is important factor to understand the Flux's conduct in Submerged Arc Welding(SAW). To get the element of PWM, pile-up welding over than 10 layers have been used in the past. But, it took a long time to analyze the elements of PWM in this method. Therefore, in this study, instead of pile-up welding over than 10 layers, one pass bead welding is used to predict an element of PWM using mathematical formula which got to be derived. As a results that applied the formula, there was no differences between theoretical and experimental value except the element Mn and Si.

The role of thermal contact resistance between a casting and a metal mold as well as natural convection in the melt during solidification of a pure metal is numerically studied. Numerical simulation is performed for a rectangular cavity using the coordinate transformation by boundary-fitted coordinate and pure aluminum is used as the phase- change material. The influences of thermal contact resistance on the interface shape and position, solidified volume fraction, temperature field and local heat transfer are investigated.

Evaporation cooling phenomena of droplets containing fire suppression agents on a hot metal surface were experimentally investigated. Solution of water containing potassium acetate (30-50% by weight) and sodium bromide (10-30% by weight) were used in the experiments, and surface temperatures were ranged from 70-116$^{\circ}C$. The evaporation time of the droplet on the heated surface was determined by using frame-by-frame analysis of the video records. It is found that the apparent evaporation time is shorter in turns of pure water, sodium bromide solution and potassium acetate solution. However, the time averaged heat flux is higher in turns of pure water, sodium bromide solution and potassium acetate solution. In-depth temperature variation of the hot metal does not occur significantly by the kinds of additive.
