Purpose: The study's primary objective was to pinpoint the variables impacting consumers' impulsive purchasing decisions in the distribution centers in Kathmandu, the capital city of Nepal. Research design, data, and methodology: The independent variables used to identify consumer impulse buying behavior were the in-store displays, store employee behavior, reference groups, and promotional activities. A 6-point Likert scale questionnaire was employed for collecting the primary data from customers at the retail center of Kathmandu. The study's sample size was 396, employing a convenient sampling method. Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) and Analysis of a Moment Structures (AMOS) have been used to show the relationships between dependent and independent variables. Results: The outcome of the path analysis using structural equation modeling demonstrates that in-store displays, reference groups, and store employees' behavior significantly influence the customers' impulse buying decisions in the distribution center. Additionally, it has been discovered that promotional activities have no significant impact on consumers' impulsive purchasing decisions made at the retail center of Kathmandu. Conclusions and Implications: The study's findings indicate that the actions of store personnel, reference groups, and in-store displays significantly contribute to the acceleration of impulsive purchases. Such findings provide researchers and business executives with a road map for the future.
Purpose: The primary purpose of this research is to understand the potential influence of various factors, namely, pharmacies' recommendations, families' and friend recommendations, price, country of origin, and past experience, on the purchasing decision of nonprescription medicines in the Jordanian context. Research design, data, and methodology: A survey was conducted among 220 Jordanian consumers through a self-administered questionnaire. Purpose: This research aims to examine the impact of social media marketing on buy decisions in Indonesia's B2B market, considering the mediating roles of brand image, perceived quality, and perceived value in relation to interactive flat panel display technology. To better understand technology adoption and distribution, we utilize the innovation diffusion theory. Research Design, Data and Methodology: The Decision-Making Unit of each organization that buy interactive flat panel display technology conducted an empirical survey of 82 participants. The quantitative research design analyzed the data utilizing the PLS-SEM model. outcome: This research reveals that social media marketing significantly impacted perceived quality, brand image, perceived value, and buy decisions. The research also found that perceived quality does not significantly impact buy decisions, but perceived value and brand image significantly impacted buy decisions. This research contributes to understanding the key factorsinfluencing buy decisionsin Indonesia's B2B market. Conclusion: Thisresearch concludesthat B2B consumers in Indonesia are less concerned about product quality but prioritize the value they receive when purchasing interactive display technology. Social media marketing could impacted the distribution of interactive display technology in Indonesia's B2B market by affecting the DMU's purchasing decisions. Brandsshould leverage social media marketing to positively impact theirsuccess.
Given to the prevalence of social commerce such as Groupon, Ticketmonster, and Coupang, it has become critical to understand customer purchasing behavior in social commerce environments. When consumers make purchasing decisions in social commerce, they often act impulsively. This is because social commerce is a deal-of-the-day website that features discounted gift certificates usable at local companies. However, the vast majority of social commerce research has viewed consumer decision-making as a rational process. This study develops a theoretical framework to investigate key drivers of customer's impulsive purchasing in social commerce. This study identifies flow, positive emotion, negative emotion, social commerce attractiveness, and discounted price as the key antecedents of impulsive purchasing. Data collected from 164 users who had prior purchasing experiences with social commerce were empirically tested against the research model using partial least squares analysis. The analysis results indicate that flow plays an important role in facilitating customers' impulsive purchasing in social commerce environments. Moreover, the findings show the exact roles of positive emotion, negative emotion, social commerce attractiveness, and discounted price on consumer's impulsive purchasing.
Purpose: This study is to analyze the purchasing process and distribution management requirements for teaching materials that have important meaning in the practical field of preschool education. Research design, data and methodology: A structured questionnaire was used to survey 103 childcare staffs regarding the purchasing process and distribution managements. The collected data underwent Likert's 5-point scale analysis and keyword grouping. Additionally, ANOVA was conducted to examine the distribution management demands based on demographic characteristics. Results: The purchasing of teaching materials involved more offline channels than online, and the purchase decisions were predominantly made by principals rather than teachers. Although the purchasing process is similar to that of general businesses, there are difficulties in purchasing due to the disorganized distribution channels and limited accessibility to product information. Additionally, the management of inventory for teaching materials is challenging due to limited personnel and storage. Childcare staffs have requirements for classification systems, evaluation criteria, environments and policies related to teaching materials distribution. The need to introduce a teaching material evaluation and certification system to ensure quality was not high. Conclusions: Most of the respondents recognized that strict management and measures should be taken for the distribution of teaching materials. There were differences in the demand of teaching material distribution depending on the respondents' status, age, education, and experience.
Purpose - This study is an effort to assess the role of behavioral biases in investment decision making, specifically for mutual funds, and the moderating role of the investor. Individual investment behavior is concerned with choices about purchasing various securities. However, behavioral finance disputes the concept of perfect rationality and identifies psychological factors and their impact on decision-making. Research design, data, and methodology - A survey questionnaire was designed and used to collect responses using a judgmental sampling technique from 290 investors in the Gwalior Region. Cronbach's Alpha, factor analysis, and linear regression were all used to test the influence of behavioral biases on investment decision. Results - We found that the behavioral biases have a positive impact on investment decisions. Conclusions - This study's results identified three factors influencing investor behavior(rationale, investment skills, and profit making) and four factors influencing investor decisions (profit maker, market analysis, investment plan, seller). The overall results of the study also show that there is no significant relationship between investor behavior and investment decisions by gender in the market.

The study seeks to identify the factors affecting the green marketing element of students' food purchasing decision at Co-opMart supermarket chain in Ho Chi Minh City through the application of a mix of qualitative and quantitative research methods that include probability sampling and convenient sampling of 400 students from Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH). The data are analyzed with SPSS software using Cronbach's Alpha, Exploratory Factor Analysis, Multiple Linear Regression and PATH model to test the model through the intermediate variable 'student's perception' and the hypotheses, identifying the green marketing effects on HUTECH students' food purchasing decisions at Ho Chi Minh City Co-opMart supermarket chain. The results of the study identify four factors of the green marketing mix (4Cs), namely, green commodity, green cost, green convenience, and green communication. All these factors have an influence on the student's food purchasing decision at Co-opMart supermarket. Cost is the strongest factor eliciting student's interest in purchasing green products, followed by convenience, then communication. Commodity has the least impact on green purchasing decision. This study proposes some feasible solutions for Co-opMart managers to attract more students using green food in the complex situation of contaminated food, which is extremely harmful to consumers' health.
The purpose of this study was to create a theoretical structure for the concept of purchasing risks by identifying the structure of purchasing risks that lead to obstacles in the purchasing decisions of consumers in fashion consumption via online channels. This was a secondary research using books, articles, prior researches, and academic journals on the five topics of "characteristics of fashion consumption," "the concept of purchasing risks," "purchasing risks by product types," "purchasing risks by channel types," and "purchasing risks of fashion consumption on online shopping channels." According to the arguments of prior researches, the study divided the purchasing risks of fashion consumption through online shopping into four categories : (1) fundamental purchasing risks including financial risk and time loss risk pertaining to any product or channel, (2) online channel purchase risks, which include risks in payment, Information leaks, and delivery and return/exchange risk, (3) fashion product risk related to product quality or experience of other people, which includes social risks and risks associated with quality, and (4) the online channel${\times}$fashion product risks, which include the aesthetic and psychological hazards especially amplified in online channels. The four risk factors were then described with a concept map to systemize the multi-dimensional and stereoscopic psychological structure of purchasing risks. Of the four risk factors, consumers placed the most emphasis on the online channel${\times}$fashion product risks, hence, reducing this risk factor is of utmost priority for marketing of online shopping channels.
The major purpose of this study was to investigate purchasing behavior of environmental products by Korean consumers, which will ultimately help foster sustainable consumption. Environmental consciousness, environmental behaviors, level of awareness of environmental products, and purchasing of environmental products were examined. Mean differences between purchasers and non-purchasers of environmental products were compared in terms of environmental consciousness and behaviors, and the level of awareness of environmental products. A survey was conducted on 310 consumers in the greater Seoul metropolitan area. The data were analyzed by frequencies, percentages, logistic regression, and t-tests using a variable for interval scale and a variable for nominal scale. There were significant mean differences between purchasers and non-purchasers of environmental products on three variables of environmental consciousness and behaviors. Those who were educated on environmental issues showed a higher preference in purchasing environmental products. Among socio-demographic variables, the income level was the only variable that showed a significant mean difference between the two groups. Also, there was a remarkable difference in purchasing behavior between the two groups. For the purchasers of environmental products, the purchasing decisions took into account environment-friendliness of products. Non-purchasers of environmental products put more emphasis on price or quality of products. The results of the logistic regression analysis indicated that those who had higher education, who viewed environmental pollution as a serious problem, and who are more cognizant of the environmental labeling tend to purchase more environmental products.
