Electronic commerce, commonly known as e-commerce or eCommerce, has become a major business trend in these days. The amount of trade conducted electronically has grown extraordinarily by developing the Internet technology. Most electronic commerce has being conducted between businesses to customers; therefore, the researches with respect to e-commerce are to find customer's needs, behaviors through statistical methods. However, the statistical researches, mostly based on a questionnaire, are the static researches, They can tell us the dynamic relationships between initial purchasing and repurchasing. Therefore, this study proposes dynamic research model for analyzing the cause of initial purchasing and repurchasing. This paper is based on the System-Dynamic theory, using the powerful simulation model with some restriction, The restrictions are based on the theory TAM(Technology Acceptance Model), PAM, and TPB(Theory of Planned Behavior). This article investigates not only the customer's purchasing and repurchasing behavior by passing of time but also the interactive effects to one another. This research model has six scenarios and three steps for analyzing customer behaviors. The first step is the research of purchasing situations. The second step is the research of repurchasing situations. Finally, the third step is to study the relationship between initial purchasing and repurchasing. The purpose of six scenarios is to find the customer's purchasing patterns according to the environmental changes. We set six variables in these scenarios by (1) changing the number of products; (2) changing the number of contents in on-line shopping malls; (3) having multimedia files or not in the shopping mall web sites; (4) grading on-line communities; (5) changing the qualities of products; (6) changing the customer's degree of confidence on products. First three variables are applied to study customer's purchasing behavior, and the other variables are applied to repurchasing behavior study. Through the simulation study, this paper presents some inter-relational result about customer purchasing behaviors, For example, Active community actions are not the increasing factor of purchasing but the increasing factor of word of mouth effect, Additionally. The higher products' quality, the more word of mouth effects increase. The number of products and contents on the web sites have same influence on people's buying behaviors. All simulation methods in this paper is not only display the result of each scenario but also find how to affect each other. Hence, electronic commerce firm can make more realistic marketing strategy about consumer behavior through this dynamic simulation research. Moreover, dynamic analysis method can predict the results which help the decision of marketing strategy by using the time-line graph. Consequently, this dynamic simulation analysis could be a useful research model to make firm's competitive advantage. However, this simulation model needs more further study. With respect to reality, this simulation model has some limitations. There are some missing factors which affect customer's buying behaviors in this model. The first missing factor is the customer's degree of recognition of brands. The second factor is the degree of customer satisfaction. The third factor is the power of word of mouth in the specific region. Generally, word of mouth affects significantly on a region's culture, even people's buying behaviors. The last missing factor is the user interface environment in the internet or other on-line shopping tools. In order to get more realistic result, these factors might be essential matters to make better research in the future studies.

The purposes of this study were to investigate preference of Baekje culture relics and to examine purchasing behaviors of fashion cultural products of adolescents. The subjects were 421 adolescents and measuring instruments consisted of Baekje relics preference items, fashion cultural products purchasing behaviors items, and subject' demographic attributions. The data were analyzed by frequency analysis, $x^2$ test, factor analysis, t-test, ANOVA and Duncan's multiple range test using SPSS program. The results were as follows. First, adolescents were more likely to prefer crown ornaments of the King Muryong in Kongju region, and gilt-bronze incense burner and halo in Buyeo region. Second, as fashion cultural products, adolescents were more likely to prefer T-shirts and accessory items, and modern image. As product selection criteria, they considered aesthetics as the most important factor, followed by symbolism and practicality. Adolescents evaluated the resonable purchase price of fashion cultural products as less than 20,000 won for T-shirts, cap & bag, and less than 10,000 won for accessories. The adolescent's satisfaction of fashion cultural products was low, and the main dissatisfaction was high prices, and the lack of practicality and diversity. Third, the preference for Baekje cultural relics and purchasing behaviors of fashion cultural products differed according to age and sex of adolescents. This study showed that fashion culture products for adolescents need to be designed in a modern sense with a unique cultural symbolism, focusing on T-shirts and accessories items. In addition, fashion cultural products companies should established the product development plan considering the characteristics according to the age and sex of adolescents.
The purpose of this study was to examine the consumers' purchasing behaviors of budget-priced cosmetics. Questionnaires used for this study were composed of 44 questions including 9 questions about budget-priced cosmetic purchasing behavior, 15 questions about satisfaction, 15 questions about repeat purchasing intention, 1 question about the reason of satisfaction or dissatisfaction, and four questions about demographic variables. Questionnaires were administrated to 317 people who were Daegu & Kyungpook region residents and had shopping experience on budget-priced cosmetics during 2 weeks from March 2005. Respondents' age was limited from 20 to 40. Data were analyzed by using correlation, crosstabulation analysis, and frequency analysis utilizing SPSS/WIN. The results were as follows. Consumers went to budget-priced cosmetics' shops 'for low price', 'for trial' and 'for curiosity'. The best purchased products among the budget-priced cosmetics were basic cosmetics, and the second purchased products were make-up cosmetics. 41.4% of the whole respondents answered that they spent 5,000~10,000won per one time visit, and 65% of those answered they visited once or twice per a year and once per two or three months. In this study a level of satisfaction for the entire products, consumers neither unsatisfied nor fully satisfied. For the question of the intention to repurchase for the budget-priced cosmetics, the respondents answered that they will not positively purchase again. A level of satisfaction and the intention to repurchase had positive correlations. The reason which consumers satisfied with the products was chiefly related to price and that which consumers unsatisfied the products was related to products themselves.
This study investigated the effect of shopping orientation of college students majoring in beauty on satisfaction in beauty contents and purchasing behavior. For the study, a survey was made and with the use of Spss 21.0, a frequency analysis, an exploring factor test, a reliability test, a correlation analysis, and a linear regression analysis were conducted. The results of the investigation are presented: First, trend-pursuing, convenience-pursuing and pleasure-pursuing orientation had significant effects on satisfaction in beauty contents. Second, in respect to the effects shopping orientation had on purchasing behavior, pleasure-pursuing, trend-pursuing, brand-pursuing, convenience-pursuing and price-pursuing orientation had a positive effect on purchase behavior. Third, as for the effect of satisfaction in beauty contents on purchasing behaviors, the more satisfaction in beauty contents, the more purchase behaviors were found. Therefore, this study aimed to identify the cause and effects between purchase orientation, contents satisfaction and purchasing behaviors in beauty students and provide basic data for marketing strategies.
Knockoff products, called forgeries or imitations, are copies of famous original brand goods from abroad. Most of knockoff fashion products manufactured in Korea are famous fashion brand names. The purposes of the paper us: first, to examine and analyze general consumer purchasing behavior toward knockoff fashion products; second, to analyze the purchasing behavior toward knockoff goods according to demographic features; third, to materialize the attributes of knockoff fashion items consumers purchase; fourth, to reveal the relation between the attribute types of knockoff goods, and demographic features and purchasing behavior. The result explained so for reveals that the students'purchasing behaviour differs according to demographic features and general features of the products purchasing. This result should not be interpreted by expanding to the whole group of girl college students or consumers, as the sample used in this study is limited to those in Seoul area. Therefore, following studies are expected to expand the range of subjects'age, and to compare and analyze purchasing behaviour difference of knockoff products and imported original brand names.
This study investigates the effects of appearance-relative behaviors of adolescent female consumers on their awareness of heath harmfulness and skinny jeans purchasing behaviors and identifies the influential variables on the wearing satisfaction of skinny jeans. A survey was carried out with middle and high school female students and 386 responses were analyzed using descriptive analysis, factor analysis, a reliability test, and regression analysis. The results of this study were as follows, 1) From the results of the factor analysis on appearance-related behaviors and clothing benefits of skinny jeans for female adolescents, each of the variance assessments clearly showed factorial structures. 2) As a result of looking at the influences of appearance-relative behaviors on the clothing benefits of skinny jeans, respondents who paid more attention to their appearance tended to consider hygiene and activity comfort less important. In addition, respondents who had higher fashion concerns tended to consider aesthetic, practicability, desired trend, and activity comfort more important. 3) Respondents who had higher fashion concerns and considered activity comfort more important among skinny jeans benefits showed a higher level of satisfaction when wearing skinny jeans. However, respondents who thought aesthetic and health hygiene more important when buying skinny jeans showed a lower level of satisfaction when wearing skinny jeans. Female adolescents showed less satisfaction when wearing skinny jeans, as they perceived harmfulness about skinny jeans more.
The purposes of this study were to investigate the differences inbrand identification ability, opinions on purchasing imported casual wears and purchase behaviors among the high school students grouped by the attitudes toward imported casula wears. Data were obtained from 452 high school students in Seoul by using self-administered questionnaires. Chi-Square Analysis and ANOVA by SAS statistical package were used for data analysis. The subject with favorable toward imported casual wears suggested higher price levels as appropriate price levels of jeans, were more positive about purchasing imported causal wears than the less favorable. Those with more favorable attitudes tended to purchase at individual stores and to have more experiences in purchasing imported brands, spent higher amount of monthly clothing expenditures, searched information mostly through the conversation with peers, and indicated design as the most important evaluative criteria used when purchase clothing. Most of the high school students relied on their parents as the sources of allowances to purchased clothing.
The purpose of this study was to investigate children and their mothers'purchasing behaviors for children's clothing. A self-administered questionnaire survey was conducted to 640 students(5, 6th graders) and their mothers in the elementary schools in Seoul; 517 were used for the data analysis. Most children wanted to have clothing when they feel not having proper clothing to wear. When parents purchased a clothing, female students more actively expressed her opinion than male students. The comfort was the most important criteria by children about new clothing, and children most complained of monotonous style for their clothing after using the clothing. Mothers usually bought children clothing in changing season. The most important evaluatived criterion was design. The lower level of mothers'clothing interest had less complain than other groups about children's clothing.
This is a study on preference and memory of TV commercials for food service products and on the processes of relevant attitudes and purchasing activities. The results of this study showed that the higher preference for commercials, the higher rate of memory and that a business with high preference for commercials had all of six variables in the process of purchasing behaviors at the high mean. In conclusion, a food service provider should consider preference to make efficient commercials for consumers in implementing commercials; such preference for commercials may be favorable for attitudes toward brand and commercials as well as for the future memory of the commercials, which have immediate effects on the future purchasing behaviors.
The purpose of this study were to investigate the differences of shopping value, promotional affects and product characteristics between buyers and non-buyers, and to examine the most influenced variable on purchasing behaviors of fashion products in CATV home-shopping. We collected data from 595 consumers related to CATV home-shopping in Busan. Data were analyzed by factor analysis, t-test, ${\chi}^2$-test and discriminant analysis. Results showed that there are significant differences between buyers and non-buyers of shopping value demographic characteristics, promotional affects and product characteristics. Especially, shopping value perceived by consumers(e.g., practical value and hedonic value) and product characteristics(e.g., response of others) discriminated whether consumers purchased the fashion products of CATV home-shopping or not. We discussed the implications of results to encourage the purchasing behavior of fashion products in CATV home-shopping.
