This study determines the body size of preteen children and conducts questionnaire investigations into the awareness of real purchasers or parents of and satisfaction with children's clothes and fit, in order to provide the basic data for planning and setting up the size range for the preteens market in which the sales of children clothes are gradually increasing. The findings of this study are as follow: Analyzing the obesity of the children against the Rohrer index showed that almost 30% of the subjects were obese children and that it is necessary to research the sizes of the clothes for obese children. It was also found that older children selected a more appropriate clothe size. Investigations into the awareness of children on their body image found that there was a significant difference in the perception of body shape, body weight, shoulder breath, arm thickness, chest girt, waist girth, hip girth, and thigh thickness. Slim or standard type children had the greatest consideration for the length of clothes to purchase while obese children had the greatest consideration for bosom size and waist girth. However, in terms of the association between fitness and size selection, obese children did not select a bigger size but an appropriate one for their body. The findings show that it is imperative to develop appropriate size clothes for obese children.
Lifestyle has the largest influence on purchasing intention. Currently, consumers have to be adjusted to dynamic environmental change, therefore they are demanding more and more on bakery items and functional food products. It is important to understand the trend of customers' eating habits and the effect of this trend on purchasing intention as well as the development of special characteristics in purchase, viewpoints, and behaviors. Based on this fact, this study was conducted to classify the types of lifestyle according to the consumer's behavior and to examine how the variety and quality of bakery products affect consumer's purchasing pattern. The subjects of this survey were housewives in thirties and forties at the national capital region. AIO(activities, interests, opinions) analysis was used to classify lifestyle and to investigate the effect or relationship between lifestyle, variety and quality of bakery products. Lifestyle was classified into the pursuit of rationality, the pursuit of utility and the pursuit of convenience. The information was the most concerning area in the pursuit of rationality, the taste in the pursuit of utility, and convenience in the pursuit of convenience. The purchasing intention was not affected by the quality of the bakery product itself but by the satisfaction with the service of the bakery.
The purposes of this study were to research the behavior of consumption and needs about the female university students to provide useful information which would help finding the marketing source of cosmeceuticals. The sample was consisted of 464 female university students who had experiences of using the cosmeceuticals. Data were analyzed by factor analysis, frequency, x2-test, t-test, ANOVA(LSD) using SPSSWIN. The results were as follows: When the female university students purchased the cosmeceuticals, they considered the effectiveness and the price, so were satisfied with good effect and low price. The most important marketing methods in cosmeceuticals for female university students were through the internet and mail order shopping. Whereas, demerit factors of internet shopping were founded to be the complexity of exchange or refund and the little chance of free samples for trial. The good marketing strategies might be sending trial samples, future payment system after trial period, and/or supporting the event held in the university. Besides, it might be a consideration to have an event for the improvement by public trial. Anti-aging cosmeceutical was the most preferred item for female students, sun protection and whitening cosmetics next in order. Therefore, a target customer for cosmeceuticals might be lowered in age. The purchasing cost system and therapeutic effect of cosmeceuticals had to be developed for 20's. It was necessary to be safe and effective. The factors affecting the level of satisfaction for cosmeceuticals could be categorized into 4; market environment, simplicity of purchase, product merit and additional service. The needs for cosmeceuticals showed significant differences according to grade and kinds of product.

One of the most important aspects of the research on multi-agent systems is the definition of agent communication languages(ACLs) and the specification of a proper formal semantics of ACLs. In this paper, we propose an illocutionary effect-based FIPA-ACL semantics which overcomes the two traditional semantic approaches. The key idea of this new semantics is based on the semantic concepts of success and satisfaction conditions of illocutionary acts in speech act theory, and the common ground theory-based framework. As case studies using this new semantics, we define the primitive speech acts of FIPA-ACL such as inform and request. For the strengths of the proposed approach we illustrate our new semantics on an e-commerce agent purchase negotiation. Also, we compare this approach with two traditional semantic approaches for ACLs.
The purpose of this study was to investigate the present state of e-business according to the establishment year and the sales approach of Dongdaemun clothing market and to present problems according to e-business activation of it and its developmental direction. The subjects for this study were selected out of Dongdaemun clothing markets being considered as more fashion-oriented markets and were divided into two categories both according to the establishment year and according to the sales approach. As a result, Dongdaemun clothing markets are mainly divided into traditional wholesale market, eastern wholesale & retail market, and western retail market and having dealings with each other according to the market's characteristics. The utility percentage of on-line e-business according to the establishment year and the sales approach showed that traditional wholesale market was 42%, eastern wholesale & retail market 0.75%, and western retail market 11%. This result indicated that the utility percentage of traditional wholesale market showed much higher than eastern wholesale & retail market and western retail market. This would be because the structural characteristics of clothing market delayed the utility of e-business. For the problems on the utility of on-line e-business through counselling, traditional wholesale market showed much higher than wholesale & retail market and retail market because it had little problems on design imitation in retail market due to export by order and mass production. The problems of low utility of on-line e-business in Dongdaemun clothing market would result from well-timed on-line update according to rapid goods cycle, constant satisfaction for additional order, standardization of size and quality, and inexpensive internet purchase despite of express expense.
This study examines the effects of body image and the hedonic shopping orientation of female consumers on using fashion information to purchase skinny jeans. For this purpose, an online survey was carried out during the recent year targeting female consumers who had purchased skinny jeans. A total of 464 responses were analyzed in this study. The SPSS 22.0 program was used to perform frequency analysis, factor analysis, reliability analysis, and multiple regression analysis. The results are as follows. First, interest in appearance and apparel had a significant influence on every factor of the hedonic shopping orientation, except for the relational shopping orientation, and interest in body weight had a significant effect on the enjoying, relational, and impulsive shopping orientations. Additionally, body satisfaction, except for the impulsive shopping orientation, had a significant influence on the enjoying, brand, loyalty, and relational shopping orientations; body dissatisfaction affected the brand, loyalty, relational, and impulsive shopping orientations. Second, the enjoying shopping orientation significantly influenced every factor of fashion information, and the brand shopping orientation had a positive effect on mass media information, but a negative effect on street information. Furthermore, the loyalty shopping orientation had a significant influence only on store information, the relational shopping orientation had a significant effect on both mass media and verbal information, and the impulsive shopping orientation did not exert any influence on any factors of fashion information.
This research was conducted to understand the different circumstances for wearing shirts by adult males aged 20-39, and to provide this basic information to the shirt industry prior to developing new functional men's shirts. A total of 345 respondents participated in the survey. Most of questionnaire, frequency, mean and standard deviation were calculated and the differences between the 20s and 30s were analyzed by t-test or ${\chi}^2$ test. The results of the survey are as follows. Grading the satisfaction degree of their body parts, the respondents were relatively unsatisfied with their height, weight, and waist, abdominal and hip circumferences. Majority preferred department stores, discount stores and outlets for purchasing shirts. Many have never owned tailored shirts - men in 20's had less experience with tailoring than men in 30's. The foremost selection criterion for purchasing shirts was fit -during purchase, men in their 20's considered fit more important than men in their 30's. The most preferred unbuttoning of the top button when wearing shirts. For favored collar shapes with one button unbuttoned, the most valued collar angle and style was V-neck shape when unbuttoned, low collar band, collar with unopened collar, and stiff collars. Most shirt designs and details included slim fit, no dart in the front and one dart on the back. Men in 20's more preferred the no dart in the front and one tuck on the back, as compared to men in 30's. On the other hand, men in their 30's preferred one dart shirts than men in 20's. To derive implication for marketing strategy for Korean cosmetic products in China, an analysis was conducted on the difference in quality perception and purchase behavior between two groups of Chinese women classified by their awareness of Korean Wave. Analytical methods including k-means clustering method, independent samples t-test, factor analysis were applied on the survey results of Chinese women residing in Guangzhou city. The positive impact of Korean Wave on quality perception and brand image is much stronger for higher awareness group, compared against for lower awareness group, that leads to higher product satisfaction and willingness to recommend purchases. Thus, marketing strategies need to be adjusted based on the difference in customers awareness of Korean Wave. However, the low price is the primary inducement for purchases for both groups, increased efforts to enhance brand image and product quality as premium products is strongly required, together with the utilization of Koran Wave.
In this study, we determined the characteristics and importance of market maven to today's fashion retailers. Market maven is defined as an individual who is highly involved in the marketplace and takes a role as an information diffuser. In order to identify market maven, a total of 415 data were collected from 30-40 consumers who purchased fashion items from the various types of retailers. The data were divided into three groups based on the average score of summated market maven's scale, and the high group was referred to as "market mavens." Results suggested that the market mavens existed in the fashion retailing market and presented the differences from the other two groups. The market maven group spent more and purchased more fashion items than the other groups. With respect to shopping behavior, the market maven group was more likely to browse and bargain hunt when shopping, and showed higher mean scores on impulse buying and overall satisfaction. In addition, market maven tended to purchase fashion items from different types of retailers including online channel. Accordingly, market mavens seemed to present common characteristics with heavy browser, recreational shopper, and/or multi-channel shopper. Market mavens showed shopping enjoyment characteristics when searching for market-related information from various retailers, hence this segment should be the essential target market in the multi-channel retailing environment.
