미국의 국가이미지와 방문경험이 해외직구의도에 미치는 영향에 관한 실증연구 (An Empirical on the Influence of Country Image of America and Previous Visit on the Cross-border Shopping Intention)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 미국의 국가이미지와 방문경험이 해외직접구매의도에 미치는 영향을 분석하는 것이다. 국가이미지의 구성요소로써 경제기술이미지, 사회문화이미지 그리고 국민이미지를 사용하였으며, 총 155명의 국내소비자를 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 데이터분석에는 단순회귀분석, 다중회귀분석 그리고 t검증이 사용되었다. 국가이미지는 해외직구의도를 예측함에 있어 매우 중요한 요인으로 결과가 도출되었으며 다중회귀분석 결과는 국가이미지의 구성요소 중 사회문화이미지가 해외직구의도에 가장 중요한 영향을 미치며, 경제기술이미지 또한 통계적으로 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 그러나, 국민이미지는 국내 소비자가 해외직구를 할 때 고려하지 않는 것으로 분석되었다. 미국 방문경험 여부에 따른 해외직구의도에 차이가 있는지 살펴본 결과 이전에 미국을 방문을 경험해 본 소비자는 방문경험이 없는 소비자 보다 해외직구를 할 의향이 높은 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구의 결과는 해외직구 소비자 이해의 폭을 넓히고 해외직판을 계획하고 있는 기업들의 향후 판매전략과 마케팅전략을 수립함에 있어서 유용한 정보를 제공하는데 있다.

화장품에서 UV 차단제의 피부 자극성과 SPF 측정 (SPF Measurement and Cytotoxicity of Sunscreen Agents in Cosmetic)

  • 최근의 소비자들은 waterproof 기능을 가진 광범위한 UV 차단 제품을 선호하며, 피부 안전성에도 많은 관심을 가지고 있다. NR method로 세포 자극성(in-vitro)을 실험한 결과, UV-B의 자외선 차단제들은 0.08 w/v% 이상에서 세포의 생존율이 떨어졌고, UV-A의 자외선 차단제들은 0.06 w/v% 이상에서 세포의 생존율이 떨어졌다. 무기 자외선 차단제들의 patch-test는 각각 10.5와 11.25 이하로 피부에 자극성은 없었다. UV 흡수 곡선, UV-B는 octyl methoxycinnamate(OMC), UV-A는 butyl methoxy dibenzoylmethane(BMDM) 가장 적합하였다. 따라서, 유기 자외선 차단제는 OMC와 BMDM이 nylon과 polyethylene에 코팅된 원료인 $Nylonpoly^{TM}$ UVA/UVB을 사용하였다. 무기 자외선 차단제는 zinc oxide(ZnO)와 titanium dioxide($TiO_2$)를 사용하였다. ZnO와 $TiO_2$의 혼합 비율은 6:4가 적당하였다. 총 UV차단제의 함량은 ZnO 6%, $TiO_2$ 4%와 $Nylonpoly^{TM}$ UVA/UVB 5%를 썬 스크린 크림에 혼합하였다. In-vi-tro의 SPF값은 38.9이었다. 응용으로, 동일 함량을 넣은 O/W type과 W/S type의 썬 스크린 크림을 만들어 시간 경과에 따른 SPF를 측정한 결과, SPF가 O/W type보다 W/S type이 5배 이상 오래 지속되었다. 이것은 해수욕, 등산, 스키를 탈 경우에 효과적이다. 본 연구는 자외선 차단제의 피부 트러블을 최소화하고자 하였으며, 매끄러움성, 피부 안전성과 자외선 차단 효과가 우수한 화장품이라고 생각되어진다.

여대생의 소프트 콘택트렌즈 착용자에 대한 연구 (A Study of Soft Contact Lens Wearer on Women College Students)

  • 소프트 콘택트렌즈를 착용하고 있는 한국인 여대생을 대상으로 이들의 소프트 콘택트 렌즈 학용에 관련된 각종 문제점을 비교분석한 것이다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 1. 대부분 소프트렌즈의 구입은 안경원이다. 2. 대부분 소프트 콘택트렌즈 착용의 동기는 안경 사용의 불편함이다. 3. 대게 렌즈 사용의 만족도는 중등도이다. 4. 렌즈 교체의 주요 원인에 대해서 10대는 렌즈의 손상이며 20대는 사용기간의 만기이다. 5. 하루 중 렌즈 사용의 기간에 대해서 10대는 10시간 이상이며, 20대는 7시간에서 10시간 사이이다. 6. 콘택트 렌즈 관리와 처방의 어려움에 대해서는 10대는 세척과 저장을, 20대는 세척과 소독이다. 7. 렌즈 취급의 주요 어려움에 대해서 10대는 렌즈 제거와 렌즈 케이스 소독을, 20대는 관리용액의 취급과 렌즈의 삽입이다. 8. 렌즈의 삽입중 가장 어려운 사항에 대해서 10대는 눈에 렌즈의 걸림과 두려운 감정이, 20대는 두려운 감정이다. 9. 렌즈 제거시 어려움에 대해서는 눈의 개안 유지가 대부분이다. 10. 렌즈 착용중 가장 불편한 사항은 충혈, 이물감, 동통 등이다. 11. 렌즈 착용의 장점에서 10대는 주로 안경 불편함이며, 20대는 미용이다.

하이브리드 섬유로 보강된 콘크리트 포장의 역학적 특성 실험연구 (An Experimental Study on Mechanical Properties of Hybrid Fiber Reinforced Concrete Pavement)

  • 시멘트 콘크리트 포장은 중차량에 대한 뛰어난 적용성과 장기간의 공용성을 지녔고, 아스팔트보다 구입이 용이하여 내구성 및 경제적 측면에서 우수한 장점을 가지고 있으나, 아스팔트 포장에 비해 노후화 되거나 파손이 발생할 경우 대규모 유지보수가 발생할 수 있는 단점이 있다. 콘크리트 포장의 손상은 대부분 균열에 의한 것으로 콘크리트 포장의 초기 및 장기균열을 제어할 수 있는 기술 확보가 필요하다. 이 연구에서는 일반적인 구조용 콘크리트 배합에 비해 단위수량이 낮고 굵은 골재 최대 치수가 큰 콘크리트 포장 배합에서의 섬유보강 효과를 평가하기 위해 직경이 작고 형상비가 큰 마이크로 섬유와 직경이 크고 형상비가 작은 매크로 섬유로 하이브리드 보강된 콘크리트 포장용 배합에 대한 기본적인 성능실험을 수행하였다. 실험 결과 콘크리트 포장 배합의 섬유보강 효과는 일반 구조용 콘크리트 배합에 비해 낮은 것으로 나타났으나 하이브리드 섬유로 보강된 콘크리트 포장 배합은 휨강도 및 인성보강 효과가 큰 것으로 나타났다. 특히 하이브리드 섬유보강 콘크리트는 포장 손상의 주요 요인인 콘크리트 포장의 초기 건조수축을 제어하는데 매우 효과적인 것으로 나타났다.

경남지역 대학생들의 난시 교정용 소프트 콘택트렌즈의 착용에 관한 설문조사 (A Survey about Wearing Soft Contact Lenses for Astigmatism Correction of The Local College Students, Gyeongsangnam-Do, Korea)

  • Purpose. The actual status of wearing toric soft contact lenses was investigated to learn why it is not used although it is required. Materials and Methods. This study has studied 64 contact lens wearing the local college students, Gyeongsangnam-do who are 20.17(${\pm}0.70$)years old, by measuring their refractive power and over-refractive power with auto refractometer(HRK-8000A, Huvitz, Korea). In addition to that, a survey was done to figure out why they do not wear toric soft contact lenses, the purpose of using toric soft contact lenses, whether they have astigmatism or any knowledge about it, the kinds of contact lens, whether they are willing to buy corrective lenses, and how they are satisfied after purchasing them. Results. 17 students (21.9%) said they experienced light-spread; 9 students (14.1%)said that they have dizziness when they wear contact lens all day long. In the survey to see whether they had astigmatism or not, 37 students (57.8%) said they had it. For the reason they do not wear toric soft contact lenses, 33 students (51.6%) said that "they were prescribed regardless of astigmatism in the optometrist." To the question asking if they are willing to buy toric soft contact lenses according to the existence of astigmatism, 51 students (79.6%) answered they are. 31 students (48.4%) said they heard a description about astigmatism at the time of purchase for contact lens. Conclusion. As the ways for any people who need to correct astigmatism to wear corrective lens, enough education about astigmatism and consistent follow-up management are needed, where the role of optometrist is considered important.

An Investigation of the Health Foods and Supplements Intake and Its Associated Factors in MiddleㆍOld Aged Adults Living in Seoul and Gyeong-Ki Area

  • The aim of this study was to investigate intake of health foods and supplements and its associated factors in middle and old-aged adults in order to contribute to health promotion of Korean population by providing a guide for proper use of health foods and supplements. About 69% of the subjects reported that they were currently taking health foods and supplements or had experiences of having them in the past, whereas 31.2 % reported they had never taken them. The most commonly used type of health foods and supplements was vitamin C as reported by 41.8% followed by others such as lactobacillus products, multi-vitamins, tonic medicine and cardiotonic drug, artificially processed Ginseng foods, vitamin B complex, enzyme supplement, calcium, aloe, apricot extract products, chitosan products, loyal honey, squalene, refined fish oil and iron products. The major reason for taking health foods and supplements was 'to protect the weak constitution' with 155 (42.1%) responses, and the motive for the intake was the suggestion from family-relatives with 235 (63.9%) responses, and the place of purchase was pharmacy with 140 (38.0%) responses, the average monthly expense was 20,000-40,000 won with 140 (26.2%) responses, and effects after the intake was 'so and so' with 180 (33.6%) responses as the highest. More health foods and supplements were consumed as age and education were statistically significantly increased (p<0.05). For health and lifestyle and the intake of health foods and supplements, perceived health status, the presence of illness, and the presence of health management were statistically significant (p<0.05). Male subjects than female subjects and the 30s than the 405 and 50s were appeared to have poorer dietary behaviors (p<0.05). For the health locus of control and the intake of health foods and supplements, the health locus of control score was 22.82 for consumers and 22.79 for non-consumers, showing no significant difference. Logistic regression analysis was performed to find out major factors that affect the intake of health foods and supplements, in which gender, education, smoking, perceived health status, the presence of illness, and health management were significant to the intake of health foods and supplements. It is shown that subjects with perception and attitude of 'health foods and supplements are useful in health maintenance and disease prevention' and 'the information and variety for health foods and supplements are great' have higher probability of taking health foods and supplements.

학교급식 식재료로서 지역 농산물, 고품질농산물과 신선편이 채소의 이용현황과 필요에 관한 연구 - 경기지역 초.중.고등학교를 중심으로 - (Food Materials for School Foodservices on High-quality Products, Local Products and Fresh-cut Products - Dietitian's Choice in Elementary, Middle and High Schools in Gyeong-gi Province -)

  • The use of local product foods and fresh-cut products, the dietitian's recognition, the required items and the quality for school foodservice was investigated to increase the consumption of high-quality agricultural products. Data from 578 elementary schools, 228 middle schools and 116 high schools were collected by school foodservice personnels in each regional Education Administration in Gyeong-gi province. The first criteria of buying food materials was reliability/safety for all school foodservice. The second criteria were the origin of the product and freshness/ripeness for elementary and middle schools and high school, respectively. The most important consideration for selecting a supplier was the quality of the material. The appearance/status of the food was the first factor for buying food materials. The origin and the seasonality were very important for buying farm products. Dietitians in Gyeong-gi province recognized the local products, and used them weekly. The advantages of using local products were the quick supply, freshness and safety. On the other hand, the disadvantages were the lack of information and the uncertainty of supply. Sixty eight percent of the subjects had experienced the high-quality agricultural products in school meals, but the frequency was low. The main reasons for not servicing high-quality agricultural products were the high cost and the lack of trust on the quality. Among fresh-cut products, seasonings and root vegetables were purchased most frequently, but leaf vegetables was 5.7% only. The purchase of fresh-cut products was not frequent, but usually satisfied. The advantages of fresh-cut products were the reduced workload and waste, but the reason for not using them were poor hygiene and the high price. The diverse supply system and the promotion of the local product foods would be necessary since the most food materials were purchased through suppliers. In addition, the problems related to the high cost and distrust should be resolved to expand the consumption of the high-quality agricultural products and the fresh-cut vegetables. The institutions for certifying the quality should be needed to increase the confidence of these products.

일부 종합병원의 건강검진 수검자들의 한약·양약 복합투여 (Combined utilization with herbal products and prescribed drugs: A result from health examinee-based national survey)

  • Recently, there has been prevailing of the combined utilization (CU) with herbs and prescribed drugs in medical therapies in the world. But the information about frequency, efficacy and safety of this CU has not well known in Korea, yet. This study aimed to identify the status of CU by Koreans, and to inquire which side effects of CU represent to those people. A self-completed questionnaire survey was performed through each health examination center in twenty general hospitals and one oriental hospital. Of the initial 2,100 health examinees, 1,851 were participated in this survey, resulting in a response rate of 88.1%. The proportion of CD was 26.3%. The most commonly mentioned reason of CD was 'to promote general health and well-being' (17l persons, 35.5%). The main route of taking CD was self-purchase at drugstore or at herbs market, followed by the prescription of (oriental)physicians. 33.0% (151 persons) of those who took the CD rated it as effective. 93 respondents (19.8%) were experienced several adverse effects including nausea, fatigue, and dizziness. The growing simultaneous use of herbal products and pharmaceutical drugs by Korean consumers may be continuously increased the risk of herb-drug interactions. The medical professionals should be provided with comprehensive and up-to-date information about potential benefits and risks of herbs and prescribed drugs. In the future studies it may be recommended to deal common cold, health promotion, indigestion, headache, and hypertension for the effect and safety of the CD by well-organized prospective study design.

춘천지역 고등학생의 식품안전성에 대한 인식도 조사 (A Study on Perceptions toward Food Safety of High School Students in Chuncheon Area)

  • 본 연구는 춘천 지역에 소재한 고등학교 1학년 540명(남학생 264명, 여학생 276명)을 대상으로 식품 안전성에 대한 기본 인식을 알아본 것이다. 식품안전 상태에 대해서 49.4%의 학생들이 우려하고 있었으나 40.0%는 식품안전성에 대해 관심이 없는 것으로 나타났다. 식품안전에 대한 정보는 대부분이 대중매체를 통해서 접했고, 식품안전 사고의 발생이유는 식품을 생산하거나 유통시키고 판매하는 관련자들의 책임의식이 부족하기 때문이라고 인식했다. 또한 식품의 안전을 위협하는 가장 큰 요인으로는 중금속(24.8%)이 가장 높았고, 다음으로는 환경호르몬(24.4%), 식품첨가물(17.0%)이라고 하였다. 잔류농약이 가장 우려되는 식품은 채소 및 과일류이고, 농산물은 잔류농약 때문에 안전하지 못하며 92.4%의 학생들은 잔류농약이 인체에 해롭다고 인식하였다. 중금속에 의한 식품의 오염 인식도에서는 87.4%가 안전하지 못하다고 했으며 중금속에 의해 가장 우려되는 식품은 생선류로 나타났다. 또한 가공식품에 대해 가장 불안하게 여기는 요인은 식품첨가물이었고 대부분의 학생들이 식품의 포장재료나 용기에 대해 유독하다고 생각했다. 식품구입시 식품안전성을 확인하는 학생은 25.0%뿐이고, 식품을 구입할 때 식품안전성 여부를 확인한다는 학생이 식품의 안전성을 중요시하는 비율이 높았으며 식품안전성 여부를 확인하지 않는 학생은 비교적 맛을 중요시하는 것으로 나타났다.

연령에 따른 여성들의 된장에 대한 인식과 이용실태 - 대구지역 중심으로 - (Study on Women's Perception and Consumption of Korean Soybean Paste by Age - Focus on Daegu Region -)

  • This study conducted surveys on perception and utilization of Korean soybean paste targeting 493 women from their 20s to 60s residing in Daegu. Most subjects married (75.3%), were part of a nuclear family (84.8%), had more than a high school diploma (95.8%), had a career (47.9%), lived in an apartment (68.4%), had a total household income of 5 million won or more (38.1%), and had monthly food expenses more than 0.5 million won and less than 1 million won (42.2%). Regarding perception, 'rich nutrition' was the most commonly held perception in subjects in their 60s (4.4), followed by 'good taste' in subjects in their 40s (4.3). Regarding reasons for consumption 'healthy' was highest in subjects in their 60s (47.3%) and 40s (45.6%) and 'delicious' in subjects in their 20s (56.1%). Regarding how to make it, subjects in their 60s responded 'know for sure' (57.1%), while only 2% of 20s responded the same. Subjects in their 50s and 60s had a higher ratio of answering 'know' while 20s and 30s 'don't know', For preparation methods, subjects in their 20s (53.1%) and 30s (41.4%) answered 'buy at the market', subjects in their 40s (68.9%) 'get from family or relatives' and subjects in their 60s (47.3%) 'make by one's own'. For preservation method, subjects in their 20s and 30s answered 'preserve in refrigerator', the 60s tend to answer 'preserve in jangdokdae'. Buying at the market was most common in subjects in their 20s (36.1%) and 30s (28.5%) and the reason was 'convenient' (39.6%). The place of purchase was 'in large supermarket or department store' (78.5%). For the future consumption pattern, 'increase in consumption of commercialized product (44.0%)', subjects in their 60s answered 'keep making at home' while subjects in their 30s and 40s answered 'keep making at home or buying product half and half'. According to the above study results, women living in Daegu region were aware of excellence of traditional soybean paste. However, due to changes in residential circumstance and lack of knowledge about the recipe, they did not make. They receive soybean paste t from family, relatives or bought in the market, which indicates the continuous decrease in home-made soybean paste. Therefore, due to the expanding social participation of women, the product market is expected to increase. I think it is important to develop traditional commercial soybean paste in the traditional way to improve the traditional flavors.
