당뇨병 환자와 건강인의 맥상과 사상체질에 관한 연구 (Comparative Study on the Pulse Wave Variables and Sasang Constitution in Diabetes Mellitus Patients and Healthy Subjects)

  • The purpose of this study was to determine whether a pulse analyzer was useful 1) to characterize the variables of pulse wave of diabetes mellitus group, compared with those of healthy subjects, and 2) to determine Sasang Constitution in diabetes mellitus group and healthy subjects. 1. The sum of pulse pressure (energy) and the ratio of systolic period area (As%), called pulse pressure-related variables, were higher in diabetes mellitus group than healthy group, while the height of dicrotic wave (h5) and the ratio of height of dicrotic wave to height of percussion wave (h5/h1), correlated with arterial compliance, were lower in diabetes mellitus group than healthy group. 2. Taeumin of diabetes mellitus group showed higher pressure-related variables than that of healthy group. 3. Soumin of diabetes mellitus group had shorter the time to dicrotic wave (t5) than that of healthy group. 4. Soyangin of diabetes mellitus group showed higher heart rates and lower values in pulse wave time-related variables, including time to dicrotic wave(t5), time to incisura (t4), total time minus time to incisura (t-t4), total time (t), width of percussion wave (w), and the ratio of width of percussion wave to total time (w/t), than that of healthy group. 5. Contact pressure (CP), sum of pulse pressure (energy), height of pre-incisura (h2), height of incisura (h4), width of percussion wave (w), time to incisura (t4), time to percussion wave (t1), variance of total time (Vt), variance of height of percussion wave(Vp) and the ratio of height of incisura to height of percussion wave (h4/h1) were used to develop the rules of Sasang Constitution Classification with about seventy five percents accuracy. These suggested that the pulse analyzer was useful to evaluate the risk degree of diabetes mellitus and to determine Sasang Constitution among either diabetes mellitus group or healthy group.

벌채작업(伐採作業)에서의 작업강도(作業强度) 측정연구(測定硏究) -침엽수(針葉樹) 간벌림에(間伐林)서- (Studies on Working Intensity in Felling Operation of the Thinning Forest -In Thinning of Some Conifer Species-)

  • 본 연구는 우리나라 간벌림 벌채작업에서 작업강도를 구명하여 산림작업을 성력화하며, 아울러 작업방법의 개선과 생산성 향상을 도모하는데 그 목적이 있다. 이를 구명하기 위하여 침엽수 간벌림에서 벌채작업을 요소작업으로 구분하여 순수작업시간과 맥박수를 측정 분석하였으며, 그 결과는 다음과 같다. 1. 맥박수 측정 분석에서 전체 순수작업시간에서의 1분당 평균맥박수는 작업원 A의 경우 108로 나타났으며, 작업원 B의 경우 130, 작업원 C는 119, 그리고 작업원 D는 125로 나타났다. 2. 요소작업 구분별로 맥박수를 분석한 결과에서는 1분당 맥박수가 가장 높을 때는 작업원 A의 경우 주위정리에서 115였고, 작업원 B는 이동에서 131, 작업원 C는 지타작업에서 122, 작업원 D는 현목처리에서 128로 나타났다. 3. 작업원별로 기준맥박을 100%로 보았을 때 작업강도는 작업원 A(기본맥박 61=100%)가 전체 작업강도 160%, 요소작업 구분중에서는 주위정리가 188%로 가장 높게 나타났다. 작업원 B(기본맥박 57=100%)의 전체 작업강도는 220%, 요소작업중에서는 이동이 229%로 가장 높았으며, 작업원 C(기본맥박 73=100%)의 경우에는 전체 강도는 159%, 요소작업중에서는 지타작업이 168%로 가장 높았고, 작업원 D(기본맥박 70=100%)는 전체 작업강도 156%, 요소작업중에서는 현목처리가 182%로 가장 높게 나타났다. 4. 전체 작업강도를 나다내는 작업원에 따른 노동이행능력 한계점에서의 1분당 초과맥박수는 작업원 A의 경우 30, 작업원 B의 경우 207, 작업원 C는 14이며, 작업원 D는 67로 작업원 B가 가장 작업강도가 높아 신체적인 부담을 크게 받는 것으로 나타났다.

마황복용 후 사상체질별 이상반응에 관한 임상연구 : 무작위배정 이중맹검시험 (Adverse Effects of Ephedra According to Sasang Typology in Healthy Adults : A Double-Blind Randomized Controlled Trial)

  • Background : Ephedra (Ephedra sinica) has been widely used to treat respiratory disease in traditional medicine of East Asia for over a hundred years. Despite safety concerns raised by some, the use of ephedra in traditional medicine is documented over more than 1,800 years. It is well established that ephedra is one of the central medicines in Korean 'Seseng constitution' medicine. In Sasang constitution medicine, all humans can be divided into one of four types: Soeumin, Soyangin, Taeumin or Taeyangin, and each constitution type has their own typical characteristics. Accordingly, it is hypothesized that the adverse effects of ephedra differ depending on the Sasang constitution classification. Objectives : The aim of this study was to determine adverse effects of ephedra which is classified as a Taeumin herb, and to observe whether the response differs or not. according to Sasang constitution classification. Methods : The study design was a double-blind randomized controlled trial. The subjects were healthy adults 20 - 50 years old who agreed to participate in this study. They were allocated through randomization to either ephedra group (N=55) or placebo group (N=24). where ephedra extract (6 g of dried ephedra) and placebo with similar opaque capsules were given twice for one day. To compare the adverse events of ephedra according to Sasang constitution classification, we analyzed blood pressure (systolic and diastolic), pulse rate, the morning questionnaire, and patient's global assessment scale score for well known adverse events: palpitation, headache, sweating, tiredness, dyspepsia, and dry mouth. Results : After ingestion of ephedra, the pulse rate had a significant increase in all constitution types. The changes of diastolic pressure in Soeumin and the changes of pulse rate in Soeumin, Soyangin and Taeumin had a significant increase in the ephedra over the control group. In the ephedra group, the palpitation and dyspepsia score of the patients' global assessment scale had a significant increase in Soeumin, with palpitation and sweating score increasing in Soyangin. Others observations were insignificant results. Conclusion : The results of this study may confirm that the physical responses or adverse effects of herbs differ for each type of Sasang constitution. Future studies using other herbs will be required to ascertain the herbal drug reaction of Sasang constitutions.

  • PD in defect of solid insulation system is very harmful since It often leads to deterioration of insulation by the combined action of the discharge ions bombarding the surface and the action of chemical compounds that are formed by the discharge. PD can indicate incipient failure, so it has been used to determine degradation of insulation. In this paper. we investigated PD in defects of solid insulation by using statical method and classified PD patterns with surface discharge, electrical tree and void discharge by using Kohonen network. we used peak charge, average discharge power, average discharge current, repetition rate, skewness, kurtosis, QN of the max pulse height vs. repetition rate $H_q(n)$ for analysis and classification.

Implementation of Intelligent Home Network and u-Healthcare System based on Smart-Grid

  • In this paper, we established ZIGBEE home network and combined smart-grid and u-Healthcare system. We assisted for amount of electricity management of household by interlocking home devices of wireless sensor, PLC modem, DCU and realized smart grid and u-Healthcare at the same time by verifying body heat, pulse, blood pressure change and proceeded living body signal by using SVM algorithm and variety of ZIGBEE network channel and enabled it to check real-time through IHD which is developed by user interface. In addition, we minimized the rate of energy consumption of each sensor node when living body signal is processed and realized Query Processor which is able to optimize accuracy and speed of query. We were able to check the result that is accuracy of classification 0.848 which is less accounting for average 17.9% of storage more than the real input data by using Mjoin, multiple query process and SVM algorithm.

  • This paper deals With the EMG signal processing to apply the EMG signal to the Prosthetic arm. The EMG signals are generated by the voluntary contractions of the subject's musculature and is coded into binary words by the pulse width modulation. Command strings or sentences are constructed by concatenating several words, and are syntactically described by a context free grammar in Chomsky normal form and is tried to classify the movement pattern by the CYK algorithm.

Classification and Compensation of DC Offset Error and Scale Error in Resolver Signals

  • This study proposes a classification and compensation algorithm of two non-ideal output signals of a resolver to reduce position errors. Practically, a resolver generates position errors because of amplitude imbalance and quadrature imperfection between the two output signals of the resolver. In this study, a digital signal processor system based on a resolver-to-digital converter is used to reconstruct the two output signals of the resolver. The two output signals, "sin" and "cos," can be represented by a unit circle on the xy-plot. The classification and compensation of the errors can be obtained by using the radius and area of the circle made by the resolver signals. The method computes the integration of the areas made by the two resolver output signals to classify and compensate the error. This system cannot be applied during transient response given that the area integration during the transient state causes an error in the proposed method. The proposed method does not need any additional hardware. The experimental results verify the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm.

복소수 SVM을 이용한 목표물 식별 알고리즘 (Target Classification Algorithm Using Complex-valued Support Vector Machine)

  • 본 논문에서는 정지하고 있는 배경에서 움직이는 목표물을 식별하기 위해 PDR(pulse doppler radar)을 이용하여 수집한 복소수 신호를 처리하는 복소수 SVM(support vector machine)을 제안한다. SVM은 패턴인식 분야에서 널리 이용되나 분류에 이용되는 특징이 대부분 실수 데이터이다. 제안된 복소수 SVM은 실수 데이터, 허수 데이터 정보와 실수부와 허수부 사이의 교차 정보를 모두 이용하여 이동하는 목표물의 분류를 수행한다. 복소수 SVM을 설계하기 위해 최적화 조건 적용 시 실수축과 허수축에 대한 슬랙변수를 고려하였고, 복소수 데이터에 대한 KKT(Karush-Kuhn-Tucker) 조건을 이용하였다. 또한 복소수 거리를 이용한 RBF(radial basis function)를 커널함수로 적용하였다. 제안된 복소수 SVM의 성능을 평가하기 위해 PDR 센서로 수집된 복소 데이터를 기존의 SVM과 복소수 SVM을 이용하여 분류한 결과 기존의 SVM에 비해 복소수 SVM의 식별결과가 개와 사람 각각 8%, 10% 향상되었다.

소음인(小陰人)의 장부경락론적(臟腑經絡論的) 고찰(考察) (Overview of four subgroups in Soeum(Lessor Yin) Constitution, Which are classified based on 'Chang(=Viscera) and Fu(=Bowels) meridian theory')

  • 이제마선생에 의해 제창된 사상체질론은 지난 백년간 후세 사상연구가들에 의하여 발전되어 왔다. 그 중 하나가 바로 권도원 선생에 의해 제창된 체질침(體質針)의 출현이었던 것이다. 체질침범에서는 종래의 방법과는 다른 새로운 맥법(脈法)과 맥도(脈圖) 그리고 체질에 따른 체질침방(體質針方)이 운용되고 있다. 이 체질침방의 경우 실제로는 장부경락(臟腑經絡)의 오행혈을 운용한 사암(舍岩)선생의 오행침을 체질침화(體質針化)한 것이다. 이제마 선생의 체질이론과 사암선생의 오행침이 결합된 것은 실로 역사적인 일이라 하지 않을 수 없다. 권도원 선생은 여덟 개의 맥도와 함께 8체질론을 내세웠으며 스물네개의 사암선생 침방 중 여덟 개를 체질침화하여 이 여덟 체질의 기본 치료처방으로 사용하였다. 본 논문의 저자인 염태환은 지남 1986년 미국 라스베가스에서 열린 동양의학 학술대회에서 이미 24체질론과 24체질 맥도를 제시한 바 있다. 본 논문은 우선 체질의학의 발달에 대한 역사를 간단히 정리하였다. 4체질론에서 시작하여 24체질론까지의 발전되어 온 단계 단계가 여기에 설명되어 있다. 이 설명 속에서 십이경락이 어떻게 사상의학과 이론적으로 결부되는가를 이해하게 되면, 24체질론의 출현이 쉽게 받아들여질 것이다. 본 논문은 이 24체질 중 특히 소음인에 속하는 네 체질에 대하여 초점이 맞추어져 있다. 이 네 개의 체질에 대한 체질맥진법, 맥도, 침법 그리고 한약처방 등이 이 논문에 다루어지고 있는 것이다. 그리고 이 논문의 뒷부분에는 이 네 체질에 대한 저자들의 임상 실례들이 실려 있다. 이 논문의 목적은 새로운 학설을 임상실례와 더불어 소개함으로써, 더욱 많은 한의사들이 관심을 가지고 체질침을 임상에 응용하게 하며 또한 앞으로 치료효과를 객관적으로 밝히기 위한 이중맹검시험(Double blind controlled study) 등이 시행될 수 있는 토대를 마련하고자 하는 것이다.

저면산란 초음파 신호 및 신경회로망을 이용한 균열크기 결정 (Crack Size Determination Through Neural Network Using Back Scattered Ultrasonic Signal)

  • The role of quantitative nondestructive evaluation of defects is becoming more important to assure the reliability and the safety of structure, which can eventually be used for residual life evaluation of structure on the basis of fracture mechanics approach. Although ultrasonic technique is one of the most widely used techniques for application of practical field test among the various nondestructive evaluation technique, there are still some problems to be solved in effective extraction and classification of ultrasonic signal from their noisy ultrasonic waveforms. Therefore, crack size determination through a neural network based on the back-propagation algorithm using back-scattered ultrasonic signals is established in this study. For this purpose, aluminum plate containing vertical or inclined surface breaking crack with different crack length was used to receive the back-scattered ultrasonic signals by pulse echo method. Some features extracted from these signals and sizes of cracks were used to train neural network and the neural network's output of the crack size are compared with the true answer.
