이 연구는 국제 학술지에 출판한 국내 연구자의 코로나19 연구논문 데이터를 WoS로부터 수집하여 주제, 기관, 연구지원처별 분포를 파악하는 등 계량서지학적 분석을 시도하였다. 아울러 학술정보의 생산과 유통 활성화에 있어 중요 변수인 학술지 오픈액세스와 심사소요일 등도 분석하였다. 분석결과 2020년 코로나19 관련하여 국내 연구자는 국제 학술지에 의학 분야 연구논문을 많이 발표하였고, 생물학, 다학제 분야 연구논문의 출판도 활발하였다. 이들 연구자는 해외에서 발행하는 학술지뿐만 아니라 국내 영문 학술지에도 연구논문을 다수 출판하였다. 분석된 연구논문의 94%가 오픈액세스였고, 출판 즉시 이용할 수 있는 골드 오픈액세스도 전체의 약 70%에 달하였다. 또한 국내 연구자의 코로나19 정형외과 연구논문을 PubMed로부터 수집하여 분석한 결과 평균 심사소요일은 약 24일이었다. 오픈액세스와 심사소요일 등의 분석결과를 통해 이 연구는 코로나19 위기로 인한 학술 출판 생태계의 협력 분위기를 감지할 수 있었다. 이 같은 학술 출판 생태계 구성 주체의 협력이 계속 유지된다면 학술지 골드 오픈액세스 출판 향상과 심사의 효율성 증진 등 학술출판계의 장기과제가 해결될 가능성도 높아질 것으로 기대된다.

An e-catalog system provides whole product data and services by publishing newly updated information that connects PDM systems in an enterprise. With its capability to connect customers, suppliers, producers, distributors and downstream manufacturing activities, the e-catalog system can be applied to integrate e-business and provide immense business opportunities. In this paper we propose a framework focusing on constructing an efficient e-catalog system that can be used for online mass customization. The effectiveness of the proposed framework is validated with experimental results.

문서기술언어 SGML(Standard Generalized Markup Language, 표준 범용 마크업 언어)과 그 전문 데이터베이스(도표나 화상 포함)에의 적용에 대하여 해설하였다. SGML을 적용한 전문데이터베이스의 구조는 SGML로 작성한 DTD (document type definition)로 표현하고 텍스트자체는 DTD에 따른 범용 마크업을 사용하여 기술한다. 본고에서는 장, 절, 단락 등의 계층구조와 각주, 도표, 화살 등의 비계층 구조로 되어 있는 문서 구조를 어떻게 표현하는가에 대하여 예를 들어 해설하였다. 그러고 SGML의 효과, 전자 출판, 검색 시스템, 하이퍼텍스트, SGML 관련 도구 등에 대해서도 해설하였다.

ISNI는 범용적인 전거데이터를 통합할 수 있는 중계 식별자로서 학술연구자에 한정된 ORCID 대비 다양한 분야에 유연하게 적용할 수 있다는 장점이 있지만 국내의 경우 연구직 및 교육직의 발급이 압도적으로 많아 취지가 점점 퇴색되고 있다. 특히 해외의 경우 출판계의 적극적인 참여로 ISNI 발급이 활발하지만 국내의 경우 출판계를 통한 발급이 전무하다. 본 연구는 국내 출판계를 포함한 다양한 분야의 ISNI 발급 확대를 목적으로 설계되었다. 연구 목적을 달성하기 위하여 기존 ISNI-KOREA 컨소시엄 기관과 출판계 등 컨소시엄 확대 가능 기관의 담당자와 심층 인터뷰를 진행하였다. 인터뷰 결과 ISNI 활성화 방안으로 자체 제도 정비, 거버넌스 강화, 홍보 및 교육 그리고 시스템 연계 등 4가지 정책적 시사점을 도출하였다. 이러한 정책적 시사점을 해결하기 위한 4대 정책목표 및 12대 핵심과제를 중심으로 중장기 발전방안을 제안하였다. 본 연구는 ISNI-KOREA 컨소시엄을 운영하는 국립중앙도서관의 ISNI 활성화 관련 정책 개발에 도움이 될 것으로 판단된다.

This paper was to evaluate social enterprises' management efficiency with Data Envelope Analysis (DEA). The data was based on the 168 social enterprises' of annual performance reports published in 2015. The research focused on to measure both financial efficiency and social impact of the companies simultaneously. To apply DEA, the paper classified the enterprises into seven types based on types of socal impacts which each company provides before the estimation of the efficiency. The research results showed that group D, which employes disadvantaged people, provides social services and shares resources was the most efficient group and had higest net worths in Pure Technical Efficiency. In contrast, Group B, which only employs social advantage people and provides social service, was the least efficient one. The research suggests a practical and efficient framework in measuring social enterprises' management efficiency, including both the financial performance and social impacts simultaneously with their self-publishing reports. Because the Korea Social Enterprise Promotion Agency does not open business reports which social enterprises submit each year, there are basic limitations on researchers attempting to analyse with data from all social enterprises in Korea. Thus, this study dealt with only 10% of the social enterprises which self-published their performance report on the Korea Social Enterprise Promotion Agency's web site. Regardless of these limitations, this study suggested substantial methods to estimate management efficiency with the self-published reports. Because self-publishing is increasing each year, it will be the main source of information for researchers in examining and evaluating social enterprises' financial performance or social contribution. The research suggests a practical and efficient framework in measuring social enterprises' management efficiency, including both the financial performance and social impacts simultaneously with their self-publishing reports. The research results suggest not only list of efficient enterprises but also methods of improvement for less efficient enterprises.

관계형 데이타베이스에 저장되어 있는 데이타를 XML 문서로 추출하기 위해서는 데이블에 저장된 데이타를 XML 문서 형식에 맞는 계층적인 관계를 가지도록 구조화하는 과정이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 관계형 데이타베이스를 사용하는 XML 저장 및 검색 시스템인 eXDM(embedded XML Database Management System)의 내부에서 구현한 XML 문서 추출 서브시스템에 대하여 기술한다. 이 시스템은 XML 문서에 대한 질의(XQuery)의 RETURN 절과 SORTBY 절을 분석하여, 관계형 데이타베이스에 저장되어 있는 데이타를 구조화하여 계층적인 구조를 가지는 XML 문서 형태로 추출한다.

중소기업이나 소규모의 조직에서 작성되는 매뉴얼, 웹진, 기타 출판물을 조직의 구성원들과 출판물을 공유하기 위하여 워드프로세서로 작성된 파일의 원본이나 또는 PDF 파일 형식을 메일이나 웹에서 자료 다운로드를 통하여 공유하는 경우가 대부분 이용되고 있다. 하지만 사용자들은 온라인상에서 한번 참고하고 파일의 원본이나 다운로드를 원하지 않는 경우가 많다. 이에 본 논문에서 윈도우즈 기반의 시스템에서 워드프로세서의 원본 파일을 e-book 전자출판 시스템에 업로드만 진행하면 자동으로 웹에서 조회가 가능한 e-book 시스템을 구현하여 사용자와 소규모의 조직원들에게 다양한 정보를 제공하고 공유 할 수 있는 시스템 구축을 제안하고자 한다.

Citing literature is a very important activity for scholars in writing articles. Many publishers and libraries build citation databases and provide citation reports on scholarly journals. Cited-by linking is a service representing what an article cites and how many times it cites a specific article within a journal database. Recently, information services based on DOIs (Digital Object Identifiers) have been increasing in number. CrossRef, a non-profit organization for the DOI registration agency, maintains the DOI system and provides the cited-by linking service. Recently, the number of Korean journals adopting DOI is also rapidly increasing. The Korea Institute of Science and Technology Information (KISTI) supports Korean learned societies in DOI related activities in collaboration with CrossRef. This study analyzes cited patterns of Korean DOI journal articles using CrossRef's cited-by linking data and a Korean journal citation database. This analysis has been performed in terms of publication country and the language of journals citing Korean journal articles. The results show that DOI, SCI(E) (Science Citation Index (Expanded)), and English journals are more likely to be cited internationally.

최근 출판계는 이용자의 구매 의사 결정에 있어 메타데이터 활용이 매우 중요한 요소임을 인식하게 됨에 따라, 효율적인 데이터의 작성과 품질 유지, 그리고 공급사슬상의 표준과 교환 시스템에 대해 관심을 갖게 되었다. 도서관계 또한 목록 작성의 경제적 효용성을 추구하면서 좀 더 최초 정보원에 근접한 데이터 소스를 통해 작업을 간소화할 수 있는 모델을 추구하게 되었다. 본 연구는 발생 기원은 동일하지만 각각 출판계와 도서관계에서 각기 다른 형식과 표준으로 활용되고 있는 도서메타데이터의 흐름을 살펴보고 공통의 쟁점과 상호 운용의 가능성을 조망하였다. 최근 출판계와 도서관계를 중심으로 논의되고 있는 각종 이슈들을 점검해 보고 도서메타데이터의 효율적인 생성 유통 방안에 대해 고찰하였다.

Ecological and ecosystem database is becoming very necessary to understand origins and relationship between human and nature and also to minimize disturbance caused by human activities. An ecological information portal can play important roles as a computing system to collect knowledge, distributed research findings and separated data from researchers. In this study, we designed and developed ecological information portal service (EcoBank 1.0) for collecting and providing ecological information for diverse classes of stakeholders. To reach the goal, we had reviewed related and comparable ecological database portals to design conceptual structure of EcoBank system including database management framework. Then, we developed some functions of ecosystem analysis for each stake-holders (researchers, general public and policy makers). As a result of this study, we successfully designed of EcoBank system covering the functions of Digital Object Identifier(DOI) publishing and data quality management process. Also, we (1) applied ecological indices for calculating biodiversity by administrative boundary for policy makers, (2) provided statistical information of econature map for general public and distribution characteristics of species for researchers. To make a successful establishment of EcoBank, we have to collect and build up related database and offer various and reliable ecological data consistently. We expect that the successful construction of EcoBank will help not only to accomplish sustainable development goals but also to raise the welfare of ecosystem in Korea.
