  • This study aims to explore the direction of Christian public practice in the post-COVID era, seeking to overcome the uncanny feeling caused by increased division and exclusion during the pandemic period. Firstly, we will investigate the unequal impact of COVID-19 on the labor market and examine ways to achieve economic justice in the post-COVID era. Subsequently, we will deliberate the role of Christianity in establishing publicness in the digital world and virtual spaces. Finally, viewing COVID-19 as a catastrophe caused by an anthropocentric worldview and exploitation driven by greed, we will explore the tasks of Christianity to overcome the crisis of the Anthropocene. Christian public practice should fulfill its mission of care and stewardship not only in social context but also in an ecological dimension. The author proposes "planetary citizenship education" for a harmonious relationship between human species and the Earth they inhabit.

  • Korea has developed as an influential country over Asia and all over the world based on remarkable economic development. And the background of this development was possible due to the existence of those who sacrificed precious lives and contributed to the nation's existence in the past crisis. Every year, Korea holds an annual commemorative event with people of national merit, Korean War veterans, and their families, expressing gratitude for sacrifices and contributions at home and abroad, and providing economic support. The tragedy of the Korean War and the pro-democracy movement in Korea over the past half century will one day become a history of the distant past over time. As generations change and the purpose and method of exchange by region change, the tragic situation that occurred earlier and the way people sacrificed for the country are expected to be different from before. In particular, it is true that the number of Korean War veterans and their families is gradually decreasing as they are now old. In addition, due to the outbreak of global infectious diseases such as COVID-19, it is difficult to plan and conduct face to face events as well as before. Currently, Korea's digital technology is introducing various methods. 5G communication networks, smart-phones, tablet PCs, and smart devices that can experience virtual reality are already used in our real lives. Business meetings are held in a metaverse environment, and concerts by famous singers are held in an online environment. Artificial intelligence technology has also been introduced in the field of human resource recruitment and customer response services, improving the work efficiency of companies. And it seems that this technology can be used in the field of veterans. In particular, there is a metaverse technology that can vividly show the situation during the Korean War, and a way to digitalize the voices and facial expressions of currently surviving veterans to convey their memories and lessons to future generations in the long run. If this digital technology method is realized on an online platform to hold a veterans' celebration event, veterans and their families on the other side of the world will be able to participate in the event more conveniently.

  • With the recent increase in interest in metaverse in which virtual and physical spaces are digitally fused, many activities in physical spaces are expected to take place in web-based virtual spaces. Therefore, there is a need for research on a self-sovereign identity system that can secure privacy and mutual trust in a DID(decentralized identifier)-based virtual space environment. We, in this paper, developed and validated a reliable communication method consisting of DIDComm messages, a procedure for generating distributed identifiers, asymmetric keys, and DID documents based on Hyperledger Indy and DIDComm open sources. The developed communication method can be applied to verify each other by exchanging additional information and verifiable credentials for trust among communication participants.

  • As a result of the study, the poorest keywords were information, big data, management, policy, government, law, and smart. In addition, as a result of network analysis, related research was being conducted on topics such as data industry policy, data governance performance, defense, governance, and data public. The four topics derived through topic modeling were "DG policy," "DG platform," "DG in laws," and "DG implementation," of which research related to "DG platform" showed an increasing trend, and "DG implementation" tended to shrink. This study comprehensively summarized data governance-related studies. Data governance needs to expand research areas from various perspectives and related fields such as data management and data integration policies at the organizational level, and related technologies. In the future, we can expand the analysis targets for overseas data governance and expect follow-up studies on research directions and policy directions in industries that require data-based future industries such as Industry 4.0, artificial intelligence, and Metaverse.
