Validity of a new information and communication technology platform for oral health care of persons with disabilities

  • Objectives: To validate the role of a new information and communication technology platform that we created for the betterment of the oral health of persons with disabilities and for providing appropriate health care services. Methods: A Delphi survey was conducted among 16 people in various professions, including academia, government agencies, and dentistry, to evaluate the validity of the information and communication technology platform. Moreover, platform satisfaction was evaluated using a user experience questionnaire among 200 people, including persons with disabilities, parents, and public institutions. Results: Experts in consensus indicated a high validity for the categories of service provider (CV=0.29, CVR=0.69), service target (CV=0.29, CVR=0.38), service contests (CV=0.27, CVR=0.63), and financial support (CV=0.30, CVR=0.63) in our information and communication technology platform. In addition, information from questionnaires on user experience and communication technology satisfaction analysis showed that both users and providers were highly satisfied with the platform. Conclusions: The provision of oral health services based on the new information and communication technology platform has numerous advantages, in addition to providing adequate oral health care for the disabled. Furthermore, the social safety net for improved oral health may be further strengthened.

거주자의 공동주택관리 업무에 대한 인식과 관리참여 의사 (Residents′ Attitudes toward Multi-Family Housing Management and their Intention to Participate)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the residents' opinions on the degree of importance, and satisfaction with, the managerial service of multi-family housing. Residents' participation in managerial activities was also examined, because residents' opinions should be taken into serious consideration in order to improve the efficiency of housing management. Research methods used in this study were survey, field study, and content analysis of professionals' opinions. Survey data of 520 residents who live in multi-family housing were analyzed by means, frequencies, correlation, chi-square tests, t-tests, one-way ANOVA, post-hoc estimation (Scheffee test), and regression. The major findings of this study were as follows: First, many residents were dissatisfied with the quality of managerial service, but they thought that managerial services were very important. For example, they thought that safety inspection of the playground was very important, yet the current level of service was not satisfactory. Second, the characteristics of residents that determined the degree of residential satisfaction were income the location of the residence, and degree of participation in the community events. Third, the residents generally did not want to participate in the managerial services and community programs through such activities as participation in resident committee. In order to improve the housing management efficiency, residents' participation is critical. Some participants in this study pointed out that the details of management service and future plans need to be made public. New management models need to be developed to promote residents' participation and increase their satisfaction in the management.

Fostering Attitudes and Customer Satisfaction for Sustainability by Electric Car-Sharing

  • Purpose: The purpose of this paper is to explore factors that affect electric car-sharing by highlighting issues of environmental sustainability and customer attitude and satisfaction. Research design, data and methodology: This study examined customers' perception on those issues by using electric car-sharing as usages of both electric car and car-sharing play a key role to improve sustainability. Online survey was applied to collect the data. This study also applied factor and regression analyses for data analysis. Results: The results of this study showed that effects of proposed factors including cost efficiency, emotion, safety, health, and sustainability on attitude toward electric car-sharing on attitude were significant. The results also showed that the effects on intention, satisfaction, and loyalty were significant. Conclusions: This study provides policy and managerial implications. By dealing with factors of electric car-sharing service, this study offers necessity of better strategies and policies for electric car-sharing service to electric car businesses and policy makers. This study also suggests that businesses should develop appropriate strategies for the improved usage of electric car-sharing by considering sustainability and improving relationships with customers. Further, government should consider to develop proper policies for sustainability by promoting the usages of electric car-sharing.

낙도보조항로의 운영실태 및 발달과정 고찰 (A Study on Current Operating System and Development Process of Remote Island Public Service Route)

  • 이 연구에서는 낙도보조항로의 운영실태와 발달과정에 대하여 정리하였다. 낙도보조항로는 14개 사업자가 U개 항로에서 총 30척 선박으로 낙도주민을 위한 안정적인 생활교통편의를 제공하고 있다. 항로별 수송실적을 분석한 결과, 낙도보조 항로를 이용하는 여객 수가 매년 증가하고 있다. 선박 이용자의 서비스 만족도를 향상시키기 위해서 운영사업체별로 경영평가제를 도입하는 등 보다 구조적인 변화가 요구된다. 이 연구의 결과들은 낙도보조항로 중장기 발전방향 수립에 기초 자료로 활용하는 데 그 의미가 있다.

  • Recently there has been many researches of performing arts, the concepts of performance products or mechanism have been gradually established. However, compared to the research of public performance itself, the research of its consumer still stays on the basic stage and it is difficult to apply to the business. Therefore the needs of the related research has continued being insisted among the staffs. This study raises points that the recent performance business still focuses on providers. Moreover it notices the urgent needs of the consumer orientation strategies and the changes of marketing in the performance business. Therefore it needs to understand the performance consumers and to research how they can be satisfied with the performance according to their types. This dissertation, thus, is to find out the evaluation method of theatre service qualities and the relations between the theatre service qualities by size and customer satisfactions to suit for the customer oriented marketing paradigm, and to present a suggestion that requires for establishment of service marketing strategies for theatre, the place for performing arts.

울산시 초고층 아파트 거주자의 주거만족도 (Residential Satisfaction of Households living in Super-High Rise Apartment in Ulsan)

  • The purpose of this study was to invesitigate the residential satisfaction of households living in super-high rise apartment. The questionnarles were collected from 244 residents living in super-high rise apartment above 20 stories located in Ulsan. Used statistical techniques were frequency, one-way ANOVA. The major findings were as follows: 1) Although the respondents were dissatisfied with super-high rise apartments, they chose present dwelling due to public transportation, easy access to work, and other community facilities. 2) Households who have more educated husband and wife and younger child were less satisfied with current dwelling. 3) The attrative features of super-high rise apartment were interior facilities, exterior environment, and social relations, While the negative features were interior environment, safety, and psychological stability.

취학 전 자녀를 둔 여성소방공무원의 직무만족도와 배우자 지지가 양육스트레스에 미치는 영향 (Effects of job satisfaction and spouse support on parenting stress in female fire fighters with preschool-aged children)

  • Purpose: Job satisfaction, spouse support, parenting stress, and the factors that influence parenting stress in female fire fighters with preschool-aged children were examined. Methods: Data were collected from 180 female fire fighters who worked at the fire station from June to July 2013 and had preschool-aged children. Data were analyzed using SPSS WIN 21.0. Results: Average job satisfaction was 2.81, spouse support was 3.54, and parenting stress was 3.61. Parenting stress was negatively correlated with spouse support and job satisfaction. Job satisfaction and spouse support were positively correlated. Factors influencing parenting stress included employment period (${\beta}$=0.093, p <.05), a husband who is not a fire fighter (${\beta}$=-8.971, p <.05), having three children (${\beta}$=27.395, p <.05), delegating childcare to relatives (${\beta}$=9.605, p <.05), income (${\beta}$=-0.920, p <.05), and spouse support (${\beta}$=-0.589, p <.05). Conclusion: To reduce parenting stress and increase job satisfaction, female fire fighters with preschool-aged children should be assigned to stable administrative work instead of stressful on-site work. Husbands who are fire fighters should take advantage of paternity leave, implemented by the Ministry of Public Safety and Security, to increase their active participation in parenting.

성장장애 한의표준임상진료지침 및 한의표준임상경로 개발을 위한 일반인의 한의치료에 대한 인식 조사 (A Survey on Public Perception of Korean Medical Treatment for the Development of Korean Medicine Clinical Practice Guideline and Critical Pathway for Growth Disorders)

  • Objectives The purpose of this study was to understand the public's perception of Korean medical treatment for growth disorders to develop Korean medicine clinical practice guidelines and critical pathways for growth disorders in children and adolescents. Methods A survey was conducted using an online platform targeting 252 adults aged 19 years from May 16, 2021 to May 17, 2021. The questionnaire consisted of questions about the demographic characteristics of respondents; overall perception, experience, and satisfaction with Korean medical treatment for growth disorders; willingness to use or recommend Korean medical treatment for growth disorders; and points for improvement. Results The overall perception of treatment for growth disorders was 3.30 ± 0.892 on a 5-point scale. Concerning the negative reasons, 54.4% of the respondents were concerned about safety; regarding the positive reason, expectations for overall health as well as height growth were the highest at 46.5%. Additionally, there was a high demand for information, such as providing safety information on treatment, presenting evidence for the efficacy of treatment, and standardized clinical process, as points requiring improvement. Conclusions To raise public perception of Korean medical treatment for growth disorders, it is necessary to satisfy the opinions of the public identified through this survey. Therefore, the development and utilization of Korean medicine clinical practice guidelines and critical pathways for growth disorders would play an important role.

농어촌버스 서비스품질 요인이 서비스 만족도 및 정책 만족도에 미치는 영향: 전라북도 농어촌버스 서비스를 중심으로 (The effect of Rural Bus Service Quality Factors on Service Satisfaction and Policy Satisfaction: Focusing on Rural Bus Service in Jeollabuk-do)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 전라북도 4개 시군의 농어촌버스 이용객을 대상으로 서비스 만족도와 정책 만족도에 영향을 미치는 요인과 이들 사이의 영향 관계를 파악하여 향후 전라북도 농어촌버스 서비스 개선과 활성화 정책을 제안하는 것이다. 연구 대상 지역 4개 시군은 농어촌버스 이용객이 지속해서 감소하고 있으며, 최근 버스 이용 활성화를 위해 버스요금 단일화, 수요응답형 교통수단 등 여러 가지 교통정책을 시범적으로 추진하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 기존 문헌 조사 후 농어촌버스 서비스 만족도 및 정책 만족도에 영향을 미치는 세 개의 주요 서비스품질 요인 경제성, 편리성, 안전성을 도출하였다. 그리고 기존 연구에서 제시한 연구모형을 수정하여 세 개의 요인이 서비스 만족도와 정책 만족도에 미치는 영향 관계, 그리고 서비스 만족도와 정책 만족도 사이의 영향 관계를 검증하는 연구모형을 제시하였다. 연구모형 검증에는 고창, 김제, 부안, 정읍 4개 시군의 버스정류장과 버스집하장 인근에서 이용객을 대상으로 수집한 총 520부의 설문 자료를 이용하였다. 검증 결과 경제성, 편리성, 안전성 3개 요인이 서비스 만족도에 통계적으로 긍정적(+) 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으나, 정책 만족도에는 편리성과 안전성만이 긍정적(+) 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 연구가설과 달리 서비스 만족도와 정책 만족도 사이에는 통계적으로 유의한 영향 관계가 성립하지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 연구가설과 다른 결과이지만, 전라북도 농어촌버스 교통정책 입안자와 실무관계자에게 단일요금제 정책, 서비스 만족도와 정책 만족도 개선에 관한 정책적 제언을 할 수 있는 의미 있는 결과였다. 결론에서 연구분석 결과와 단일요금제, 그리고 교통정책 등을 기반으로 서비스 만족도와 정책 만족도 개선방안을 제시하였다.

공공유니폼의 색채 분석 (Color Analysis of Public Uniforms)

  • Public uniforms play an important role in creating the color and image of urban environment beyond the level of simple working clothes for unity and practicality. Hence this study aims to compare and analyze the color characteristics and images of the police officer, fire fighter, and street cleaner uniforms at home and abroad to guarantee the wearer's safety, increase convenience and agreeability, and give emotional satisfaction to citizens in harmony with urban environment color as public uniforms. For study methods, literature review investigated urban environment, color, and uniforms as public design. Empirical study extracted color data from the public worker uniforms of the world's top 20 cities selected by 'Newsweek' in 2010 and analyzed their colors, tones, and color images. The results of this study are as follows. The most common color for police uniforms were PB(dk) as the main color, PB(p) as the sub color, and Wh as the accent color. For fire fighter uniforms, PB(dkg) was the most common main color; GY(v), as the sub color; and ItGy, as the accent color. The most common color for street cleaner uniforms was YR(v) as the main color; GY(v), as the sub color; and mGy, as the accent color. As a result of analyzing color images of these uniforms, it was found that police uniforms commonly used a modern image; fire fighter uniforms commonly used a natural image and a cool casual image; and street cleaner uniforms commonly used a casual image. As examined above, the color of public uniforms suitable for urban environment and job characteristics is very important to establish the image of public institutions, as well as to create an urban image.
