DCT and Homomorphic Encryption based Watermarking Scheme in Buyer-seller Watermarking Protocol

  • Buyer-seller watermarking protocol is defined as the practice of imperceptible altering a digital content to embed a message using watermarking in the encryption domain. This protocol is acknowledged as one kind of copyright protection techniques in electronic commerce. Buyer-seller watermarking protocol is fundamentally based on public-key cryptosystem that is operating using the algebraic property of an integer. However, in general usage, digital contents which are handled in watermarking scheme mostly exist as real numbers in frequency domain through DCT, DFT, DWT, etc. Therefore, in order to use the watermarking scheme in a cryptographic protocol, digital contents that exist as real number must be transformed into integer type through preprocessing beforehand. In this paper, we presented a new watermarking scheme in an encrypted domain in an image that is based on the block-DCT framework and homomorphic encryption method for buyer-seller watermarking protocol. We applied integral-processing in order to modify the decimal layer. And we designed a direction-adaptive watermarking scheme by analyzing distribution property of the frequency coefficients in a block using JND threshold. From the experimental results, the proposed scheme was confirmed to have a good robustness and invisibility.

  • As the applications and services based on the augmented reality are widely spread in various industry and public domain information dissemination areas, it is naturally necessary to provide the common information framework which can describe required detailed information for services. JPSearch which is released for unified access to image repositories can be utilized in this kind of infrastructure due to that the framework for augmented reality needs a constituent component which supports image repositories. In this paper, we propose a metadata schema which is designed for information architectural framework in the environment of augmented reality based on workflow. The proposed information schema can support the workflow of augmented reality related production system and service implementation.

가상 리얼리티 프로그램의 장르적 특성 (Genre Oriented Characteristics of Virtual Reality Programs)

  • 이 연구의 목적은 가상 리얼리티 프로그램의 장르적 특성은 무엇인지 밝히는 데 있다. 이를 위해 문화방송의 '일요일 일요일 밤에' 1부에 방송되었던 '우리 결혼했어요'의 텍스트를 1회부터 8회까지 분석하였다. 분석결과 이 프로그램은 가상 부부 생활의 영상과 스튜디오에 등장하는 현실에 존재하는 연예인의 현재성을 병치시킴으로써 가상과 현실을 혼용하고 있었다. 또한 다양한 부류의 부부유형을 설정하여, 미션을 통해 각 유형의 연예인 커플들이 실제 부부간에 일어날 수 있는 사랑과 갈등을 보여줌으로써 결혼에 대한 환상과 현실감을 동시에 충족시켜 주면서 수용자와 공감대를 형성해가고 있었다. 한편 공적 공간인 텔레비전에서 출연자들이 사적 감정을 고백함으로써 공적 영역과 사적 영역의 경계가 해체됨을 보여주고 있다. 이와 함께 물질이나 노력, 제스처, 언어 등 배우자에게 선사하는 크고 작은 감동을 통해 수용자들은 대리만족을 느끼며 즐거움을 고취시켜 오락성을 실현하였다. 가상 리얼리티 프로그램에는 진실성, 허구성, 오락성이 혼용되어 나타나고 있으며 이러한 장르적 특성은 경계의 해체와 장르적 모호함을 토대로 수용자에게 소구하는 중요한 전략으로 작용하고 있음을 알 수 있다.

  • Buyer-seller watermarking protocol is one of the copyright protection techniques which combine a cryptographic protocol used in electronic commerce with a digital wetermarking scheme aiming at proving the ownership of multimedia contents and preventing the illegal reproduction and redistribution of digital contents. In this paper, it is proposed a new watermarking scheme in an encrypted domain in an image that is based on the block-DCT framework. In order to implement watermarking scheme in a public-key cryptosystem, it is divided that frequency coefficients exist as real number into integer and decimal layer. And the decimal layer is modified integer type through integral-processing. Also, for robustness and invisibility required in watermarking scheme, it is designed a direction-adaptive watermarking scheme based on locally edge-properties of each block in an image through analyzing distribution property of the frequency coefficients in a block using JND threshold.

균형 잡힌 데이터 증강 기반 영상 감정 분류에 관한 연구 (A Study on Visual Emotion Classification using Balanced Data Augmentation)

  • In everyday life, recognizing people's emotions from their frames is essential and is a popular research domain in the area of computer vision. Visual emotion has a severe class imbalance in which most of the data are distributed in specific categories. The existing methods do not consider class imbalance and used accuracy as the performance metric, which is not suitable for evaluating the performance of the imbalanced dataset. Therefore, we proposed a method for recognizing visual emotion using balanced data augmentation to address the class imbalance. The proposed method generates a balanced dataset by adopting the random over-sampling and image transformation methods. Also, the proposed method uses the Focal loss as a loss function, which can mitigate the class imbalance by down weighting the well-classified samples. EfficientNet, which is the state-of-the-art method for image classification is used to recognize visual emotion. We compare the performance of the proposed method with that of conventional methods by using a public dataset. The experimental results show that the proposed method increases the F1 score by 40% compared with the method without data augmentation, mitigating class imbalance without loss of classification accuracy.

  • 사회불안, 소득증대, 인구구조 변화, 보안인식 변화로 물리보안은 지속적으로 성장하고 변화되고 있다. 현재 물리보안은 전화망과 방범장비로 구성된 무인방범, DVR과 카메라를 이한 영상보안, 지문인식과 RF카드를 활용한 출입통제가 대표적이다. 하지만, 네트워크 카메라, 생체인식기술, USIM NFC를 활용한 개인인증, 위치기반 서비스 등 ICT기반의 융합으로 산업영역을 확대시켜 나가고 있다. 본 논문에서는 물리보안에 적용할 수 있는 주요 기술동향과 융합보안의 서비스를 개인 신변보호를 위한 개인보안, 대형건물의 다양한 보안 서비스를 제공하는 빌딩 IT 컨버전스, 전방위 보안을 위한 홈랜드 시큐리티로 구분하여 미래의 물리보안 서비스를 제안한다.

  • 공유저작물을 이용하는데 있어서 권리관리정보(RMI, Rights Management information)를 제대로 파악하지 못하거나 제대로 된 정보를 제공 받지 못하는 경우 이용자들은 저작권분쟁에 휘말릴 수 있다. 이러한 이유로 공유저작물을 제공하는 사이트에서는 공유저작물에 대한 정확하고 최신의 RMI 정보를 제공하기 위하여 통합하여 관리하고 최신의 정보로 갱신해야 한다. 하지만 동일한 권리를 가진 이미지는 다양한 이미지 포맷과 사이즈 변경에 따라 다른 형태로 유통되기 때문에 이에 대한 갱신처리가 중요하다. 본 논문에서는 이미지 특징점 기술을 활용하여 권리관리정보에 대한 중복데이터 문제를 해결할 수 있는 기법을 제시한다.

Determining Key Ecological Indicators for Urban Land Consolidation

  • Urban land consolidation, which is to reform land parcels to remove fragmentation and produce ideal blocks, is an effective means for urban renewal. Successful urban land consolidation brings out great benefits to the city officials as well as general public, such as improved city image, increased land value, and more effective land use. However, urban land consolidation can be detrimental to environment, especially in the ecological aspects, while the execution of land consolidation has been focused solely on development for the sake of human benefits. To remove negative effects of urban land consolidation to the ecological system, this paper is intended to establish a set of criteria for evaluating ecological impacts of an urban land consolidation plan. Firstly, key ecological indicators are identified using a special group decision-making process called "habitual domain analysis" and then individual weighting of each indicator is recorded by analytical hierarchy process. An urban ecological evaluation model with 4 levels and 23 indicators is thus developed.

DCT 학습을 융합한 RRU-Net 기반 이미지 스플라이싱 위조 영역 탐지 모델 (A DCT Learning Combined RRU-Net for the Image Splicing Forgery Detection)

  • This paper proposes a lightweight deep learning network for detecting an image splicing forgery. The research on image forgery detection using CNN, a deep learning network, and research on detecting and localizing forgery in pixel units are in progress. Among them, CAT-Net, which learns the discrete cosine transform coefficients of images together with images, was released in 2022. The DCT coefficients presented by CAT-Net are combined with the JPEG artifact learning module and the backbone model as pre-learning, and the weights are fixed. The dataset used for pre-training is not included in the public dataset, and the backbone model has a relatively large number of network parameters, which causes overfitting in a small dataset, hindering generalization performance. In this paper, this learning module is designed to learn the characterization depending on the DCT domain in real-time during network training without pre-training. The DCT RRU-Net proposed in this paper is a network that combines RRU-Net which detects forgery by learning only images and JPEG artifact learning module. It is confirmed that the network parameters are less than those of CAT-Net, the detection performance of forgery is better than that of RRU-Net, and the generalization performance for various datasets improves through the network architecture and training method of DCT RRU-Net.

2000년 이후 TV사극의상 디자인 연구 (A Study on TV Historical Drama Costumes Design after 2000s)

  • This study analyzes historical drama costumes as a domain of popular culture through an examination of the changing process, factors, and design characteristics of historical drama costumes according to trend changes in historical dramas after the 2000s. Public interest in Korean traditional clothing has grown due to the historical drama fever. Research results are as follows. First, historical dramas are divided into: authentic historical dramas, popular dramas, and fusion dramas. Historical drama costumes show characters' status and roles to help viewers become absorbed in dramas and increase understanding the historical periods and knowledge. Second, the characteristics of TV historical drama costumes (according to changes of the historical dramas according to 2000) brought diversification as they are diversified by period, genre, and character and costumes which are suitable for them additionally resurfaced. Third, as for the design characteristics by type in TV historical costume after 2000s, authentic historical dramas' design was done by comparatively in-depth historical research based on historical materials to help public understand the past. Popular historical drama costumes are based on history, but the forms of costumes were emphasized (or exaggerated); in addition, colors, subjects, and patterns were modified to emphasize image beauty, dramas' atmosphere, and characters by reflecting intention. The fusion of historical dramas' costumes attracted the attention of the public about Korean designs that harmonized tradition with modernity to actively reflect current trends in past periods and show new types of creative design.
